SheCodes Plus was more of a challenge for me but I figured it out and was able to create a weather app. The first time I started SheCodes Plus, it was very confusing and after redoing everything the second time it was fairly easy. I was able to learn API, GitHub, Bootstrap, and a little bit of hosting. Matt is a great teacher in explaining why we type a certain code and how it works! The instructors were always available to help with any questions I had. I'm excited to start the SheCodes Responsive!!
I was quite nervous to start this program since I have absolutely NO experience or knowledge in coding or software development. This program so was well organized and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Before taking this course I had heard many negative things about React. However, as soon as I started coding and completing challenges, I realized that React is much better than vanilla JS because there were no long codes anymore (which was annoying to me) and I was able to categorize different parts of my code (It's more concise and maintainable). The SheCodes React workshop was well-structured (as in previous workshops); with comprehensible and easy-to-follow learning videos, multiple challenges, and a practical final project (updating the weather app). This is hands-down the best online workshop i have had. My instructor- Matt Delac literally broke code down to the simplest form. Every lesson took us on a journey, one step at a time, explaining in detail so that you actually understand every topic before moving on.
