Turns out coding is way more fun than I could ever imagine! What a ride! I enjoyed every class and every homework, can't wait to continue!

I am so happy that I took all the SheCodes workshops. I learned how to code, how applications and websites function, and it has enhanced my designer skills. Matt and his team are amazing. They are there to support you all the way. It is one of the reasons why I joined. This workshop is absolutely wonderful. I would 1000% recommend! 😊

The SheCodes Basics workshop was a great introduction to coding! Everything was explained very well, the challenges were fun, and the final project really tied everything together. I highly recommend this course to anyone who is interested in learning how to code!

I enjoyed SheCodes Basics course as it's structured in a way that you could learn in your own pace, with videos of each lesson rarely more than 10mins. There are times when I just couldn't find enough time to work on homework/projects but you could extend the deadline and complete it later. You'll lost track of time easily when you code because it's so fun! I personally enjoy it overall.

The SheCodes PLUS course is a big step up from the basics course. You are given all the tools to make a fully functioning website. I would highly recommend.

It was a great adventure with Shecodes. I learnt a lot and it opened so many roads to explore and new opportunities for me. SheCodes has made it a lot of fun to code and develop web applications. Their team has been very responsive in answering questions and troubleshooting issues. While there's still a lot left to learn, I am happy to have my fundamentals right that will help me expand my skillset.

The responsive workshop really takes your coding skills to the next level. Still lots to work on and these skills do not necessarily come second-nature like some of the previous workshops seemed to...but SO fun nonetheless! If you are going to take the Plus course, you should absolutely add this workshop in as well!

SheCodes has played a crucial role in my quest to start coding. Through step-by-step learning and hands-on practise projects, the courses have given me the fundamental knowledge to keep learning on my own with confidence.

These past weeks I realized again after a long long time, that learning indeed can be fun. I just needed the right lessons and method of studying, which I found here at SheCodes. The lessons are easy to understand and the exercises afterwards are simple to do and help a lot to digest the new information. The homework at the end of the week were a great way for me to try my best to utilize what I've learned. I can't wait for the coming lessons it'll definitely be an interesting experience.

I've always wanted to enhance my technical skills for years but as a busy working mom of 2 tots, finding a schedule that fit mine and budgeting a costly expense of a coding course was the hurdle. But with SheCodes, I was able to enrol on their affordable Basic Course geared for absolute beginners like myself and I completed it on my own free time! The lesson plans guided by Matt are fantastic and are easy-to-learn. Plus, the resources, tech support and homework extensions are great add-ons that help keep you on track when life throws you a curve ball and you need a little bit of extra time to catch up. I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone who want to explore coding for the first time (whether it's related to work or just for fun), or to those who want to elevate their current knowledge of it. SheCodes responsive was fun, and lessons were easy to follow. I like things to be organized and neat, so I really enjoyed making my page responsive to various sizes of devices.

I really enjoyed the course! The structure of the course is very well done, lessons are short but they include everything that you need to know to do your homework. And even if you don't know something or can't figure out where you made a mistake your can always check for the answer in the chat or write your problem there - you always have the feedback and this is really great! Amazing course!, I loved the challenge of learning something new. Once you understand it its fun to play around and push your creativity.

An intense experience, very flexible to conciliate with your work/studies. The course is very complete, well organised, covers the different aspects and tools for Front End. It also promotes a hands on approach, not leaving you 'alone' totally, as you can count with a good team to help you if you get stuck with some doubts. Either if you enroll 'just for fun', or for a career move, I couldn't recommend it more, you do get the bug of front end in the end. Go for it!

These lessons taught me a lot, and most importantly it was fun and not stressful.

The pace of the course is great - some tasks can feel challenging at times, but they're still completely achievable and fun to figure out. The weekly deadlines are a good way to stay on track, but if there's a really hectic week and just not enough time to get the homework in, then the easy extension requests really help to still keep working towards completing the course. Overall an enjoyable and well set up course.

A very informative and practical workshop. It has it's challenges, but there is always help available on Slack, either from the SheCodes Team or from your fellow students. I think it's great that the final project gets you to create a fully functioning app, as this gives you a greater understanding of how the code actually works and how to apply it effectively. I would also highly recommend Matt Delac as a tutor. Matt has an easy to follow and clear style of delivery, which makes learning much more fun.

The class was fun and interesting. It is challenging but doable. I didn't think I could do it, and I still have a lot to learn, but I believe I can achieve my goals through these classes. It reminds me of a puzzle. Sometimes you want to shove a piece in, but later you understand why that piece didn't fit, and why another piece did.

I never thought about learning to code until I found SheCodes. It was super fun and easy to keep up with even with a hectic work schedule. Even if it's just basic knowledge once you're able to build a page from scratch you'd want to keep learning and keep adding more to your own ideal page.

SheCodes was a wonderful journey. It is a well designed program that really helps complete beginners learn coding. I went into SheCodes with absolutely zero knowledge in Html, CSS, or JavaScript. I definitely found this course to be challenging. While I found the material foreign, I also found it interesting and fun to learn. Don't give up on yourself if you find it too difficult. The internet is a vast place for gathering information, and the Slack group helped immensely.

This course was super challenging, but it was really exciting and lots of fun! I love that this course allows its students to complete coursework according to their own availability each week, while also having weekly assignments and projects that help keep you accountable and on-track. It offers a great level of flexibility, but also provides structure at the same time which I really appreciate as a working professional. I also really enjoy being a part of the SheCodes community. With each course, you have the ability to interact with other students who are learning the same things as you and instructors who are there to help and answer questions along the way.

I've learned a lot through SheCodes Plus, the project was a lot of fun and challenging. Java Script is definitely something I need to work on, but the team and students helped me get over those bumps I had along the way of building my project! :)

Finally I am able to make my websites responsive and mobile friendly - that was a really fun challenge to take!

After completing SheCodes Basics, I decided to commit to the complete curriculum. It has been challenging juggling a full time job and a newborn, but I found these courses to be fun and would work on it night/ weekends. I've learned a lot in the 8 weeks and excited to continue with the next workshop.

In comparison to other free coding courses that I have taken, Matt's detailed explanations and use of real-world examples in his lessons has helped me understand the functions of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. As someone who is transitioning into the Learning & Development industry, this workshop has inspired me to think of new ways to create engaging yet accessible online curricula and other instructional materials.
