This workshop was really fun for me! it’s very interactive and has a good balance of practice and theory which kept me engaged the whole time.
I can't recommend this program enough. I have told so many people about it already! Thank you to Matt and all the workers at SheCodes who put in so much time to make a program that is both functional and fun. I am a stay-at-home-mom who is learning to code so I can help out my household financially, and the flexibility of this program has allowed me to still be the very present mom I have always been while also being a good student. I can't wait to start the Pro course next!
This was a major experience for me, as I had the opportunity to explore the inside of web page creation. This course was not an easy take for me, but even more, valuable. I saw an advertisement for SheCodes just at a point in my career when I was wondering how much longer I would start conversations with "I am not super technical..". She SheCodes Basic program introduced me to all these scary techy topics at a great pace and in a fun way. My goal was to demystify coding and it has definitely done that!

Very good interface, you can easily find the video. Things are described very well, so I could understand. Good structure of studying material, all things are followed after each other. Helpful challenges even though not every one was funny to do.

i think discussed functions were really useful, but the learning process is a bit off. tasks basically require you to repeat everything you have already done in the video. We build up functions in a very confusing way, add them, and get rid of them. We have spent so much time to learn how to switch F to C just so we can get rid of that at the end......
I really enjoyed Shecodes Basics and highly recommend it to everyone who want to get an idea what coding is about! It was fun to watch Matt's videos as they are easy to follow/understand. The challanges were a lot of fun too. But mostly I enjoyed doing my own project, because you can already play around with the skills you learnt. I will definitley enroll for the SheCodes Pro course as I now know that I absolutely wanna move on and become a professional front end developer!
It was challenging but still fun because it helps you think out of the box and help you do hard things. Putting my growth mindset to use was one of the things I loved most.

This is an excellent course. I learned a few new techniques and practiced the OpenWeatherAPI. The course has a convenient organization that helps personal time management. I'm a bit stuck with parametrized callback functions in axios but found a solution by googling. Thanks a lot.
SheCodes Basics was the perfect introduction to coding, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I wanted to learn coding to develop my skillset, increase creativity and improve cross-department collaboration with the development and product teams. All of the challenges and practical exercises were extremely helpful in putting what you learnt to the test! SheCodes made something that was quite intimidating to me, very fun and interesting! I highly recommend and look forward to progressing onto the next workshop.

Another great SheCodes course! I love how by each course, you get 'set loose' more and more. It is more challenging that way, but it also makes it more fun. Though the two React projects are technically done, I still want to play around with them more. Sometimes it was hard to reach the weekly deadlines (I also took the course during summer holiday), but it was easy to extend a week at a time. Some of the documentation for e.g. the dictionary API was not 100% up to speed, but it's understandable that that will happen quickly - it also makes the course more 'realistic' in a way, as I'm sure similar problems could happen in 'the real world'. The course is not comprehensible enough for me to now call myself a React developer, but there is definitely a good fit between duration, price and quality. Most importantly, it has made me get excited about React and learning more!
I've completed all 4 courses with SheCodes. I've taken a variety of online coding courses in the past and SheCodes has easily been the best. Each course has been easy to understand and follow along, the challenges help you apply what you've just learned and the projects have been fun to complete.

I never knew I could do coding with ease, the manner in which Matt taught makes coding very easy and fun to learn, with this I know it's a great start for me in the tech world, the sky is my starting point.
Taking a coding class as a busy mom of 2 babies seemed hard, but this course made it doable! Small quick videos and engaging challenges made learning fun. I know that I will be able to continue to build upon the skills I have just learned.
It was a lot more fun to start learning how to code than I could have imagined.
Another great experience with SheCodes workshop. Building my own portfolio website from scratch was real fun. Apart from the main role of the front-end developer, you can try also yourself as a designer, SEO content writer, and manual tester :)) I have learned Responsive tools to make my website look good on all devices and put it on a live server so I can share it with potential employers. One more step closer to becoming professional!

Very cool course! Very useful and interesting! you create a miracle with your own hands, understanding every action, every step. Sometimes there were difficulties, but after Matt's encouraging words and "Have fun!" you really start to feel like playing an interesting game. I could not help myself but sign up for the SheCodes Plus course after having done and loved the Basics course. This was a really fun way of learning how to code, everyday it was something different and it was great to see the end result! I'm still curious to keep learning and progressing. As for the first week, it was really sophisticated and intensive for me, sometimes I thought that I was ready to give it up... But furhter all the things have changed. I was enjoing the second week, and I found JavaScript extremely interesting and powerful! And then, the third week was so soft and creative! I was having fun during my final project! It has been so much fun learning the basics of web development and it really made me want to challenge myself by learning more of it! Matt can explain things in a very clear way, and having the challenges and homework really helped keeping me accountable for it.
This was a fantastic beginner course. I have been stuck in a rotation of watching tutorials and starting on other self paced coding sites, but I am a person who needs more structure and this was perfect for me! I looked forward to it every night and the final project was soooo much fun seeing the outcome of what I created!
This has been a fun and engaging way to learn a bit about front-end web development with CSS, HTML and JavaScript.
What to say ? Again awesome content, great explanations and exercises . This workshop was the most challenging one so far but I loved it. I must admit, at times it was frustrating because you have to learn some advanced concepts, but once you get it you realize it is definitely worth it because with this approach your code is much clearer and more manageable. And it's even more fun to code now. I recommend it to everyone that has passed frontend development course as the next step :)

This is my 3rd workshop I finished from SheCodes - I am so proud of the progress I've made and how this course has helped me reignite my passion for coding! So far I enjoyed the Responsive course the most as building weather apps was not really exciting to me. With Responsive you can really make the project according to your own taste, which is really fun! As always, other students and people from SheCodes stand by your side. On to React!

Being a complete novice to coding, this course was quite overwhelming at first, taking me a lot longer than the suggested study time each week, however with lots of breaks and practice I was able to produce a some-what functioning page. Not the best or prettiest work but we all have to start somewhere! I have a much clearer understanding of behind the coding now, which was my ultimate aim!
Wow! its been an amazing Journey with SheCodes! React made me experience coding in another dimension. though i had to face some challenges and having to debug, but in the long run i had so much fun doing this! Joined SheCodes when my baby was just 3months, Am a proud nursing mum!

I have had so much fun doing this course! I procrastinated a lot before starting my homework every week but once I started, I was not able to stop obsessing over all the different things I can do with what Matt taught during the course. I am really glad I signed up to the course and can't wait to learn more so I am able to creatively express myself. Matt has made this a really fun and immersive learning experience.

Joining SheCodes has been one of the best decisions of my life. I always found coding interesting but never thought I could do it as I have Dyslexia and struggle to stay focused, so I thought it would be way too hard to understand and learn. The way the lessons are built and presented makes it so easy to get things done because you can take your time, pause the videos and have as many breaks as you need, and Matt explains and demonstrates it in a way that somebody like me can fully understand. Having challenges to do was also really helpful because it's allowing you to practice and make sure you know what your doing before moving on. I had a lot of fun these past 3 weeks and i couldn't be more grateful to this program for what it has provided me with, I'm looking forward to starting the next workshop. Thanks so much SheCodes!

As a complete beginner, you easily get lost trying to learn from scratch through free online courses, which ends up being demotivating. This problem is gone with SheCodes. The guidance that is provided and the clean course structure has finally put me on the right track. Also, I didn't expect that coding would be so fun!
Developing a responsive webpage isn't so easy. But I already done my first steps in this with fun and almost without frustraiting. I feel very grateful whole SheCodes team and Matt Delac exactly. It is an amasing workshop and I want to continue my studying!
