I would HIGHLY recommend the SheCodes Basics course to anyone wanting to learn how to code! Matthieu has made the contents of the course so easy to follow and understand. I also found the SheCodes team extremely helpful and friendly! I thought I would have a lot of difficulty with this course as I come from a medical background, which is so different to coding in terms of content and style of learning, however I found the way Matthieu explained things, were very clear and most importantly, I found coding very interesting and fun! I look forward to signing up for more of the SheCodes workshops in future and developing my knowledge and skills to become a front end developer:) Thank you SheCodes team! You guys are amazing!!

I always wanted to learn how to code but didn't know how and where to start. A friend told me about SheCodes and there I am. It was really easy to follow and with fun challenges. I usually have trouble sticking to something (especially online classes) but it was stimulating and kept me going easily. I will probably do an other SheCodes program soon to expand my knowledge on coding.
I really had fun doing this project learned so many new things about coding and I cannot deny that I have made a good decision about joining SheCodes . Now I am looking forward for my 8 weeks journey in SheCodes Plus . Thank you Matt and the team of SheCodes.

I'd actually come across SheCodes from an influencer on Instagram (who now works as a developer) and I'm so glad I was influenced. I am quite confident that I'm on the road to a brand new career. This workshop was so fun! I was apprehensive at first because I did struggle with the previous workshops, but to my surprise I actually enjoyed the Responsive workshop so much. I was learning so much and having fun, I was able to grasp the lessons and feel challenged. Just as before, I was able to progress in my own time and utilize the support from Slack. These girls and administrators are some of the nicest people ever. If you are wondering if you should sign up for the next workshop, you should do it! I know I will.
What a journey!! Incredible weeks, learned so much and, like always, Matt makes everything seems so easy and straightforward. Can't wait to start the responsive course. Never thought that coding could be so fun!!

As a person who loves learning, this was the best! Matt is a gifted intstructor who will guide you into the world of coding with great ease and fun. At times, I felt like he was speaking to me in person, as he was predicting the mistakes I was going to make! It was a really fulfulling experience that I would recommend to anyone, despite what intentions one has career-wise. Coding is for everyone! Can't wait for the next workshop!

I really enjoyed this little bootcamp! It's a deepdive into web development and really lets you get a feel for the day-to-day of an engineer. I enjoyed watching the videos, found the challenges engaging and had lots of fun completing the final coursework!

Helped me learn the fundamentals, I thought it would be confusing and math heavy so I was overwhelmed but this course really broke it down well and now I understand the basics.

And It's an inspiring feeling when you understand the logic of code and how to connect functions so they can interact. This intro workshop was challenging and fun! The over-the-shoulder format of the lesson videos is super helpful, and the homework and final project really help to solidify everything I've learned so far.
After trying for months to teach myself just one coding language, I knew I had to rethink my approach. I signed up for SheCodes, and it wasn't at all what I expected - it's better. I'm so impressed with how much I've learned in such a short amount of time. Matt is not only an extremely knowledgeable instructor, but he also makes coding fun and exciting. I can't wait to learn more in the next workshops!

LOVED this project! This was so fun and so challenging. I found that I was stuck a lot less when it came to this project and got to make a lot of fun choices about the layout of my website. The workshop was educational, reflective and fun. The challenges that were designed in almost every lesson encouraged me to be creative. It's the learning-by-doing approach that I like! It provided me with new set of tools for starting designing my own website. Taking a coding class with Matt was definitely a great experience. I feel like I have strong foundation to start coding, and of course will not stop me to keep learning and progressing. So, if you want to learn coding and are waffling on a decision of which courses to attend, pick this one! Strongly recommend!

It was great fun learning how to build responsive websites and especially our own portfolio website. Responsive websites are a must nowadays, and I'm grateful for Matt and his team who teach the best practices for website responsiveness in this interesting workshop!

I really enjoyed this course. I have a hard time focusing on videos sometimes, but I love that they are very well divided and digestible, so it doesn't feel like too much information. Coding itself is so fun and I appreciate that SheCodes creates such a comprehensive guide to it.

SheCodes Basic a great way to learn the fundamentals of HTML, CSS and JS. I had great funn finishing my challenges and homework's. The lessions are balanced and formed in order to gradually teach new technologies without overwhelming with new information's, as it was the case in some courses I encountered before discovering SheCodes! I am looking forward on continuing my journey whit SheCodes PLUS :)
