I wanted to try coding for a few months, and SheCodes is the perfect platform to start your journey. The past three weeks were so much fun! :)
I'm art loving person who enjoys designing or formatting the page before presenting it. So it was fun learning new techniques of designing a web page through SheCodes Responsive workshop. I'm feeling very proud of my journey with SheCodes as it's giving me a new confidence of having additional skill set of coding on my list. I'm very thankful to @Matt and his team @SheCodes who where so supportive and always available to answer my questions. Happy to recommend all my contacts do this course if they are interested to learn coding.
Once again, I had lots of fun during this last Workshop, so that I am actually sad that it was the last one. I could not be prouder of everything that I have learned and accomplished during this last few months. It was a mix of work and fun to go through all the different projects that were assigned to us. I know this is game-changing for me and I hope my career follows 😉

Very nice workshop! I enjoyed learning about grids, transform, and other CSS properties! I feel like I'm getting more used to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and it was fun putting the project together using all of those! I love how everything is taught in an easy to understand way and you can always go back to the video to refresh your memory and understand it better. I also really like the challenges and how they give you good practice on doing something you just learned about so you get more knowledge and experience. I feel like I'm learning a lot!
It's a very enjoyable course; logically structured, interesting and fun.
This has been an incredible intro course into the world of coding. Matt's videos are very informal and easy to follow, and the resources provided makes it coding extremely accessible to anyone who wants to try and build their own projects. I've loved this course! It's really well paced, easy to follow and allows you to get hands on with building sites straight away. The final project is a lot of fun and allows you to be super creative.
It was a privilege to have been chosen for this programme and I loved every bit of it. The lessons were well explanatory and for the fact it is a lifetime access, it makes it more fun for me, I could always go back to them anytime. The channels were so helpful as well. Coding was completely new to me, but I really enjoyed it. I've learned a lot from SheCodes Basics. Everything is explained step by step, but is still challenging which makes is a lot of fun. I would really recommend this to anyone who wants to learn about coding. I'm looking forward to start the SheCodes Max workshop soon 😄
This has been such a wonderful experience, I am a hands on learner and this is by far the best workshop that I've enrolled to. I've learned so much and had fun doing it!
This workshop was challenging but it was incredibly fun to code this project. It was super rewarding to create a functional app while having aesthetics included. I cannot wait to advance my skills to come back to this project and take it to it's next potential!

Having very little experience with coding before taking this course, I was a little apprehensive about taking it. There was no need to be apprehensive as Matt did a great job in the videos of explaining how everything works! And I had fun learning and making the final project.
After taking the previous workshops with Shecodes, this add-on workshop helped me really sharpen my vanilla CSS skills and made me more comfortable with its tools. It helped me strengthen my web design fundamental skills. Workshop went at a comfortable pace while also pushing you to build a webpage in a few days.
Once again, this was a great workshop that made learning fun!

Great starting workshop for beginners! The lessons were broken down to managable pieces with lots of tips and helpful instructions. I had a lot of fun with it and thoroughly enjoyed the challenges.
This has been my favourite course so far. I have found it so much fun and educational to make apps and websites responsive and mobile-friendly. I'm now looking forward to going back through my past projects and applying the new skills I have learnt from this responsive course.

Just like during my first SheCodes Workshops, I had fun with this one. Matt's explanations are very clear and I can't wait to see what I'm going to learn with the other Add-on Workshops. :-)
I had a lot of fun learning the basics of coding with SheCodes!
Very challenging, but it was also quite fun! Seriously, I feel quite lost in the middle of the course because the javascript code was quite hard to understand 😂 But the slack, github documentation and the course video were my hero. It was really helping me to understand the code bit by bit. If I don't understand the code yet, I just need to replay the video or read the code documentation. And so glad 🤗 that SheCodes have extension feature. I got quite sick for almost two weeks and need to be hospitalised because my condition didn't not get any better at home. I was still learning in week 4 at that time and need to request an extension for my homework. So I can focus at my recuperation, the extension feature was really a big help.
This workshop was really fun and interesting! I feel like I learned a lot! I relearned many things in a different and more simple way than I did in my first semester of my web design and development classes in my university. I also learned many things or ways I never knew before! Overall, this workshop was really useful, interesting, and fun! It really reinforced the basics I already knew and taught me so much more. I hope to continue learning more in the other workshops and improving my skills and knowledge further and further!

Wow, this was SO much fun and Matt made it very easy to understand. For me to be able to work with React it's so wild. I feel so proud of myself and now I want to do more. This motivated me to do more coding and I'm going to tackle the backend next. Thank you, Matt and the SheCodes team!

This is one of the best decision I ever made. I was already studying coding for a bit, and gets so frustrated with how unnecessarily complicated it is. Matt, makes the learning so much fun and easy. He is really a gifted teacher. What i struggle to understand sifting through blogs and youtube videos, Matt clear it up in less than 10min. His passion and excitement is very contagious. SheCodes is helping me learn fron-end programming step by step with no pressure. It is fun and the team is ready to answer your questions whenever you have any. If you want to learn html, css and javaScript, I think this is a good way in.

React seems to be a rather powerful and elegant framework. While learning React is quiet an adventure, I am convinced that the effort, time and energy invested matter a lot, in the long run. Learning is fun with SheCodes people around :)
I like how the course is very hands-on, and the assignments were really fun. Also it was great how a lot of tools and resources were given to refer back to.
SheCodes basic was super fun and informative and I enjoyed every single lesson. challenges are perfect to make sure that the lesson is fully learned and Matt teaches very comprehensibly and to the point. I'm delighted to have been able to participate in this workshop and I have learned a lot.

SheCodes makes learning how to code easy! The "Learn" videos teaches how to change an item on a page, before you are encouraged to apply what you've learnt within mini "Challenges". It is perfect for ultimate beginners or someone with previous experience of coding; more importantly: it is fun!! SheCodes is also a community waiting to support one another; this truly makes a difference! I wished I learnt how to code this way a long time ago!

This coding class was fun. I had a bit hard time with javascript but overall it was good review for HTML and CSS and allowed me to experiment and play around with three different types of coding.

After years of considering a career shift - I'm working in the art field and had started some short programming courses here and there - I finally found in SheCodes a platform that works very well for me. The short learning videos, combined with tasks, deadlines, and a structured program really keep me working. The course is challenging, interesting, and fun and gives a great perspective for a career switch.

I had so much fun learning with SheCodes React. I took a couple months break between the Weather app and the Dictionary app. I was afraid that everything I had learned would be lost, but instead I came back knowing more than I thought and understanding the logic behind each decision. Thank you SheCodes for this experience, I recommend any woman who wants to challenge herself to grab the laptop and get started 👩💻
