It's unbelievable how much I learned in just one additional week! Matt has the ability to condense all the information in easy-to-understand videos and constantly challenge you to make the whole experience even more fun. So far, I enjoyed SheCodes so much and I can't wait to start SheCodes Plus.

The Responsive Add-on project is definitely not walking on a cake. It was super challenging. I am learning as well as having fun with codes. I had a lot of fun using the Weather API and creating a weather App. I have learned so much in a short space of time! Will defo try out other API's in the future and create other apps with them.
SheCodes Plus is a great experience for me. I learned a lot while working on weather forecasting project. It requires consistency and patience to complete the workshop and developing the project from scratch to a fully functional version of it. Matt has given great insights on planning, designing, development of a project and industry best practices. I also got to know about InVision freehand tool, Bootstrap framework, DevOps and How to continuously develop and deploy project using GitHub and Netlify. After completing SheCodes Plus I feel more confident in frontend web development and excited to learn more and improve my skills.
Building an application in React was as fun as it was challenging, but I learned a lot. The code can be a lot more sophisticated then it seems and the use of logic is so much more prominent. I enjoyed this workshop as much as those before React.

This was challenging, yet fun! At one point, I did become stuck and wanted to just forget about completing the workshop. However, the SheCodes community is behind you with assistance to help you become unstuck and keep moving! When I completed the project and saw what I accomplished, I was indeed proud of myself for not quitting midway.
I really enjoyed this add-on workshop, it was very easy to follow and I gained some more experience with the JavaScript functions and timezones.

I've learned so much throughout this workshop. When I started at SheCodes my thoughts were that I would like to gain some basic knowledge in the field, just for fun - now I can't get enough of coding. My coding journey so far has been eventful, intriguing, and above all a well of knowledge. With Shecodes plus, I now understand how javascript functions work. In most of the lessons, I hear Matt say 'this may be difficult for you to understand at this stage, but it is all fine', and with this assurance, I look forward to the lesson and always remind myself that it is fine, even though I may be finding it difficult to comprehend. I am particularly fascinated with the fact that I built the weather app with real-time data that actually works. Thank you SheCodes for this lifetime opportunity.

I've always wanted to formally learn coding because my career has required me to edit it for various reasons (websites, newsletters, widgets, etc). I was getting by with limited knowledge, hunches, and the mundane cycle of trial and error. I thought taking a course would be too hard, especially while I work. I was so wrong. Coding is fun and the knowledge I gained will serve me in my current and future roles! If you're on the fence—do it scared!

Never thought I would have made it this far, from SheCodes basic workshop, to SheCodes Plus, and now SheCodes React. Lots of challenges and tons of fun as well. It's always fun logging in to learn new things, especially with how easy the lessons are made. I really liked the way the homework is reviewed at the end and would recommend it to anyone who would like to take a comfortable first step in tech.
I am a mom of 2 very young children who doesn't have much time to learn, and consider myself a slow learner. I was hesitant to start at first, however I found Matt's way of teaching was so easy to understand as he really guide me step by step. I also love how Matt encourages us to look for answers in Google and it was quite easy to find solutions in Slack. Shecodes team had been very friendly and gave a fast response to my enquiries. I've never thought learning how to code can be this fun! Thank you Matt and team! What I love most about this course is it's toughtfulness in arranging the packages from Basic to Max, so I can test the water to know whether or not I'll learn further about coding. Very well done!
I must admit that I wasn't expecting this to be quite this fun. I joined for practical reasons: I am an artist and I need to be able to create and curate my own page independently so that's why I initially joined. Now I am already feeling very comfortable with coding and it's only been a few days! Matt is a very very clear teacher and the extra resources and extra readings only enrich my knowledge. I must however add that I do have some previous experience with coding-like languages given that I now have 4 years of experience writing in LateX and some university experience with instructing a 3D printer and other lab equipment. I would advise a complete beginner to take it easy. Still! Couldn't have been smoother.
This Add-on workshop was loads of fun. I learned some amazing skills in javascript that I can apply to some more complex future projects. It was the right amount of challenging and fun. Looking forward to the responsive workshop next!

My experience with She Codes was amazing! I highly recommend SheCodes to begin a journey in Coding! We had the chance to learn HTML, CSS, Javascript, and React, all valuable tools for the future. I absolutely loved this workshop! Although I already had some experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, Matt really helped me to fully understand the fundamentals by thoroughly explaining each concept which gave me the confidence to be able to write my own code without having to use google as much as I use to. The videos and challenges are also easy to follow along with and keep you engaged until the next topic. I'm excited to continue learning through SheCodes!

This was so much fun! I plan on teaching these basics to my son. Everyone should have these basic skills.
This was my second SheCodes workshop, and it was undoubtedly more challenging. It was frustrating and FUN! Coding is a great problem-solving exercise. The best part is figuring things out and knowing that your solution is one of the many correct ones. I would give the workshop a 5/5, but some lessons needed to address the challenges adequately. It would have helped to provide resources on those aspects in the notes and not just suddenly reveal them in the challenge solution. Overall, SheCodes Plus is worth it. Thank you to everyone at SheCodes for an enriching experience.

Gradually I realized although coding is a bit challangeable, is not impossible and the way it is taught throughout the course just made me motivated enough wanting to dive in coding and keeping on learning more and actually having fun doing so. Even getting stuck has its benefits, you'll always learn something. I highly recommend SheCodes!

It was really fun and I finally learned how to do my websites responsive. SEO was also quite interesting and made everything that I learned logical.
I started off 2022 with learning the basics of coding, creating a simple landing page using simple HTML, CSS and JS. By the end of 2022, I can now say with confidence that I am super comfortable with coding, having created a weather app using React! I think front-end programming is pretty much visual for people who are trying to learn how to code and develop apps. SheCodes workshop made coding pretty fun for me and made me eager to learn and spend hours coding without realizing the passage of time.
