I can't believe in just one week I've learned so much! I would recommend it to everyone who is interested in coding but thinks maybe it's too hard or difficult to remember everything. Matt is an amazing teacher and it's so fun to study with him! Can't wait for the next course!

I had so much fun learning about coding again! The videos were very informative and challenging but I enjoyed my time relearning it. Awesome introduction to React! It was great fun rebuilding the weather Application with React this time and learned so much about the React framework in the process. It's wonderful to see how same results can be achieved through different ways. I would recommend these work shops because of the Simplified explanations, the homework and challenges.
It was very challenging and fun to do. The final project is set up very well, making it easy to follow all the steps and implement personal changes to the code.
Can't believe another fun workshop is over. This workshop was packed with great challenges and I've learned so much new stuff. My coding skills are much better, can't wait to hop on another workshop. :) Thank you Matt and whole SheCodes team, you are making learning very enjoyable.
This project and workshop was so much fun
SheCodes found me at a time when I needed a push in a new direction. Three weeks with SheCodes Basics and I feel like a hacker😎 All honesty, the program was fun and user friendly it made learning so much easier. Being able to interact with others in Slack made learning less daunting. I didn't think that coding would be something that I could be interested in, this course proved me wrong and I'm eager to see more possibilities.
SheCodes is a great first step into learning to code. I hadn't coded since learning Scratch in primary school but the way Matt explains his lessons makes the course fun and easy to follow. I wish we covered a bit more but i guess now I'll be moving on to SheCodes Plus!
Very beginner friendly, even if i don't have any knowledge about coding it was fun and easy to catch up with everything..

Learning to code seemed intimidating and difficult only a few weeks ago. I am so glad to find the SheCodes Basics course! It was the perfect introduction to coding for a complete beginner such as myself. Coding basics are explained in a simple, concise manner through video lessons by engaging presenter Matt, coupled with fun, hands-on coding challenges. Through this process, I have found coding to be extremely fun and collaborative, and I can't wait to continue this learning journey. Thank you SheCodes!

SheCodes helped me go through programming in a fun process. Programming can be frustrating but SheCodes makes it really fun and at the end of the day you feel good about yourself and what you built by your own hands. It is pretty awesome.
It was great fun building the weather App 😃. And I can't wait to learn React to simplify the unit conversion.

In less than 1 month, I went from 0 to finishing my first ever functional application - a website that allows users to search the current weather and forecast for any location including over 200,000 cities in the world using real data with several APIs.
SheCodes was a big part of how I began my coding journey and how it changed my life. I have learned a ton of knowledge and skills that have really aided in my career development as a person thanks to Matt, who is an incredible mentor and who makes coding fun and intriguing. I had so much doing my website. It's not yet my finest work but it was fun putting it all together!
That was fun! I enjoyed having the mini challenges at the end of each lesson; they were hands-on and used to ensure I understood the lesson. I recommend this course to someone with little or no coding experience. It's creative, fun, challenging and immensely rewarding when you see what you've been able to build by yourself!

I recently finished the React workshop and was impressed with the knowledge and teaching style of the instructor, Matt. One of the highlights of the workshop: building a weather app. On the surface, the app may have looked simple, but it was a great demonstration of the power of React. Despite its basic appearance, there was a lot of work that went into building this app, and I learned so much about the React framework in the process. The workshop was structured in such a way that we gradually built up the app, starting with the basics and adding more and more functionality. This made it easy for me to understand how React works and how to use it effectively.
Another amazing workshop to learn more about HTML and CSS. A great opportunity to develop a responsive and SEO-optimized website. As usual, the videos are easy to follow and the final project is challenging and a lot of fun to code.
It was really fun to build a simple but also solid website! It was quick but I learned a lot with this workshop.
This is the best coding workshop I've done. All of the videos were easy to follow and I now have a solid understanding of the basic functions of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Starting to learn how to code with SheCodes was a very good idea for me. I like how the learning material is broken down into small lessons that are easy to follow. It really is a lot of fun actually!
Doing this was the first time I actually made a decision on my own and was able to have full control on how I preferred things. It made me realize that not only was this good for me to try a new thing, but it was a fun yet equally challenging experience that makes you want more.

Simple and digestible! This workshop was an excellent choice to begin learning the fundamentals. I liked how brief the videos were. I also liked how each video ended with a challenge to put what I had just learned into practice. I feel like the basics workshop has given me a solid foundation in CSS/HTML/JavaScript that I can build on with the help of other workshops and Googling. The lecturer is also excellent at explaining things, and if you ever get stuck on something, the Slack group is extremely helpful.
It was really fun to re-do this project with React. It's good to know that there are so many ways to get the same results, and still we can learn something new each day.
