I was already familiar with HTML and CSS, but JavaScript was like a puzzle I just couldn't solve. Thanks to this course, though, I finally get it! The course was super easy to follow and I enjoyed how Matt explained JavaScript. He has a friendly and approachable style, which made learning fun and engaging. Plus, I even picked up some neat tips for HTML and CSS that I didn't know before. Overall, I'm super pleased with this course and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to learn the basics of web development. It's a great starting point, and I'm excited to keep exploring more about web development in the future!
Learning React is not an easy task. I appreciate how this workshop focuses on key elements and models each step to creating a working weather app. There's still so much to learn, but I now have the foundational knowledge to figure out how to make functional React apps.
This workshop has been so fun to do! Lots of learning, trial and error, but it is fun to refresh the page and learn how things work.

Wow, this class was intense. I enjoyed learning React; you can do many neat things, and the code looks prettier. It was a very challenging class, especially figuring out how to transfer my CSS to the correct file, and which parts of your code you should leave or move into the next component to keep the design how you want it. If you take this class, utilize the Slack channels to help solve any issues you may come across. Overall it was super fun and I am excited about the next section.
Great fun! The course gets you started right away with little baby steps, but then there are some challenges thrown in along the way! Well paced, informative, and builds your confidence quickly which is important for motivation.

Going from the initial concept drawing to the final code was a fun (and challenging) journey. This course was well-structured, well-paced, and made learning API integration fun.

I have really enjoyed the SheCodes basic course, it's been a lot of fun and rewarding to see what I can create after such a short period of time!
I have learn't a lot from the SheCodes basic course, the course is well organised which makes learning how to code fun.
This workshop really helped deepen my knowledge in Javascript and it was mostly my first time working with API. I'm still going to add more functionality to the weather project to keep learning and I can´t wait to finish the next projects and the React app.
These six weeks with React were very challenging, interesting and fun. Thank you very much for the opportunity to gain new knowledge.
"I really enjoyed the Basics Add-on course. It was a great way to refresh, refine and boost the skills I originally learned in the Basics course. It also taught me some new skills in HTML, CSS, and JS that I had not yet learned (even having completed the Plus course first). I feel much more confident with my coding basics after completing this course. As always the lessons were very clear and easy to follow and the challenges in each lesson were fun and really reinforced what had been taught.
This project was very fun to make, I should have finished this add-on first. But I totally missed it, when I had finished the Basics SheCodes, I guess I was too eager to jump into the SheCodes plus part of the training. The extra challenge was worth the knowledge I have gained. Now I can look back and realize where I was struggling.

Super fun, (almost) super easy, super informative! Suitable also for those of us who are really busy - myself included. The course has a clear structure and one knows exactly what is expected when it comes to the final project.
The most challenging coding chapter, it was fun learning it but it gave me some tough time at the end I conquered.
SheCodes Plus was challenging, fun and I learned a lot during the course. To work on usefull project brings a lot of sense to the process. Also I want to notice that SheCodes school has very flexible shedule, it makes possible to study in your own temp without additional anxiety and stress which I appreciate a lot! The Plus workshop was instructive in creating a fully functioning weather app. The lessons guide you through the process of implementing APIs, multiple functions, loops and arrays, etc in JavaScript and HTML, and also give you creative freedom in adding personal touches in the CSS.
Just completed my SheCodes Basics Add-On and it was great! I enjoyed it very much! Such a fun challenge. SO much that I'm moving forward with SheCodes Plus.

One of the biggest selling points of SheCodes was the structure of the workshops. When I signed in on SheCodes, I knew nothing about coding but I've learned more than I expected and I was very surprised of the skills I aqcuired at the end of those past three weeks. I usually don't like online courses but surprisingly, I enjoyed watching the videos and doing the different challenges. Matt explains everything well and the fact that I could extend the deadlines is helpfull and stress releaving. I had a really fun time learning with SheCodes and I highly recommend.

Learning coding with SheCodes, has been very fun! A challenging and mind-blowing experience.
This workshop was challenging in a fun way and pushes you to learn extensively throughout the explanative videos. While I still do not 100% understand all of the Javascript and function creations have done throughout the project, it was an extremely rewarding feeling following the SheCodes API and putting in the correct conditions. I'm glad it was broken down into multi-week portions as it was HEFTY. I am grateful for the experience and have a project I can look back on and go "Oh yeah we did this here" and I get to dissect it even further while going deeper into learning code. It makes me appreciate the individuals who do this for a living. Hopefully, I too will get to the point where everything "just clicks" as it does for Matt Delac in his informative videos!

Learning to code can be scary, but the SheCodes workshop makes it fun and interactive. Is basic enough for someone that has never code in their life, but interesting and fun for those who have played around with codes before in a non-professional way. I feel confident now to continue my new journey as a web developer student.

I thought coding would be impenetrable and stressful but SheCodes surprisingly changed my mind in beginner's 3weeks. Even the whole course is self-paced, I completed without any hitch(like I left behind or smth). It's so fun!!! I am now edger to keep learning from the further courses.

Enjoyed making the weather app using this workshop. It was fun integrating an API to make your own app that suits your needs. Although it was challenging to make the app work sometimes the final result was worth it.
Who would have thought that coding can be so much fun :))) - I really wish someone had told me before. But anyway, it's never too late! SheCodes is just fabulous with its hands-on-approach and its "you can do this" attitude. Being part of a community makes it even more enjoyable! The SheCodes React course was the most difficult and I still have a lot to learn; however, it was informative and tons of fun building new sites. I hope to change careers in the near future. I am very happy I came across the SheCodes website and the free one-hour course. It has changed my entire career path. My husband is a front-end designer-developer and he kept telling me that I should look into coding but I didn't have time until we moved to Spain. He was right: I love coding!! Big thanks to Matt Delac and the SheCodes team for making it possible to learn in an enjoyable and fulfilling way.

SheCodes is a great way to learn how to code to see if you would like to have a career in it or even to just learn for fun. They give you fun challenges and have a great support system if you're ever stuck or have any questions.

I've learned so much in the past two weeks!! Java dealt with me, but Matt is a great teacher. He did a great job at breaking it down and making it as easy to understand as possible. I enjoyed the little activities after each lesson to practice what I've learned. And the final project for the Basics workshop was fun to do! Would highly recommend it, 100/10!!

I had a positive experience with the SheCodes Plus workshop! The fact that I was able to learn a lot of new things in a short amount of time is amazing :). I also found the experience to be fascinating and enjoyable. Building my first app using JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML, and CSS can be a challenging but rewarding experience, and I was able to have a lot of fun with it.
