I have had a great deal of fun learning the basics of coding and cannot not wait to continue my journey with Shecodes, and learn a lot more to be ready to take on and start my career in the tech industry.
The workshops were easy to follow as well as the instructor. I had fun creating new websites and learnt a lot while at it.
Seeing the SheCodes on a friend's status is the best thing that could have happened to me this year. Over the past three weeks, I deepened my understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, building on my prior experience in web development. Initially, I revisited HTML to refine my content structuring skills, then delved into CSS to enhance my styling techniques, mastering responsive design with flexbox and grid layout. JavaScript posed the greatest challenge, but I enjoyed learning DOM manipulation, event handling, and dynamic content creation. This journey culminated in a project that I am incredibly proud of a functional, responsive web application showcasing my ability to integrate these technologies effectively. Submitting this project marks a significant milestone in my development journey. It highlights the progress I've made in a short time and boosts my confidence to tackle more complex projects in the future. I am excited about the new opportunities that lie ahead as I continue to grow as a developer.

Learning HTML, CSS, and React through SheCodes workshops has been an exhilarating journey! She Codes has been a great way to help me learn to code as a beginner. I like that I get to work at my own pace without any added pressure. Since I am a university student pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, I have also found that it has become easier for me to understand my course work. This in turn has made me look forward to the new lessons and challenges, and has ultimately helped me in my coding journey. I am very excited and looking forward to graduating to She Codes plus!

AI Add-on was so fun creating the joke generator & the poem generator! I thoroughly enjoyed using the generators that I have told everyone about it! Changing the CSS in JavaScript has opened my mind creatively for user experiences & JS plug-ins are really cool to learn too, maybe once day I can create one myself. For me, using AI has really opened the door for having more personalised user experiences. I can now make a generator for anything really. This workshop definitely should be in everyone's to-do list!

SheCodes Basics workshop is a very fun way to learn the basics on HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This was my first contact with coding and I absolutely loved it! I have learned a lot with Matt's precious tips, and the challenges and final project were very useful to put the learning into practice, while also stimulating our creativity.

I started the foundation because I wanted to know what coding was all about little did I know it would be one of my most favourite thing to do. I would spend majority of the time learning and coding because I enjoy it. The journey was beautiful, exciting and it empowered me and made me develop critical skills. I am grateful for this opportunity, now I can confidently build projects on my own all thanks to this foundation. React was interesting, it needs concentration but overall it was fun. I looked forward to doing the challenges and homework each week. I am happy and grateful that I participated in this live changing opportunity

I would again not advise this course for people that already knows how to code in another language, this workshop is more meant for coding beginners. I felt like there was not enough content, or that we were not going in-depth enough on the things we learn, especially about classes The final project was fun and at least chllenging.

I have just completed another SheCodes certification!!! it was a bit challenging but fun to learn more about JavaScript I highly recommend SheCodes!
Before taking the SheCodes Basics workshop, I used to think coding was a technical and boring activity jampacked with weird looking symbols and random numbers, and that only computer science nerds could understand and do it. But in less than 1 month, I learned how to create an interactive website FROM SCRATCH! I got to behold the beauty of CSS properties 🌈 and learn all about the interesting interactions that can be created using Javascript Logical Operators 🤯. Trust me, those concepts are not nearly as scary or hard to learn as they sound, especially when you have the SheCodes Instructor, Monsieur Matthieu, as your guide. He is highly skilled at breaking down the concepts, providing lots of examples and relating coding concepts to everyday things that you'll find yourself mastering the topics in no time at all REGARDLESS of your background/previous field. If you've always wanted to learn to code in an environment that doesn't make it feel like rocket science, rather fun and engaging, SheCodes is your best bet! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
WOW!!, This workshop was nothing short of transformative for my web development skills.
