Enrolling in the SheCodes Basics workshop has been an incredible experience. While it was undeniably tasking, the material presented was incredibly understandable, and the learning journey was both challenging and rewarding. What made it even better was the fun atmosphere that permeated the workshop, making every lesson engaging and enjoyable. In less than 3 weeks I have learned 3 new languages! 😃 The lessons from SheCode Basics were very good to follow and I liked the contact with the team of SheCodes very much! 😊 I liked the flexibility: I could choose when and where I wanted to work on the workshop. I can already show and tell everyone about the website(s) I made! 🤠😎🥳 I never had a moment which was bad, I liked every part of the workshop, especially the last week of the project: I could choose my own topic and chose: "The Window of Tolerance" and made a beautiful website thanks to the guidance of the workshop. I shared the website with my friends and it can also be helpful for others (I can help people with my websites already).🤗 The workshop made me get a better self confidence from the start, 🥰 because you learn the practice of coding and making fun and working things already right from the beginning. 🤩
My React.Js training was a transformative experience. Throughout the course, I immersed myself in the world of web development, mastering React, HTML, CSS, JSX, and the art of JavaScript functions. The training was a holistic journey, covering everything from event handling and dynamic rendering to state management using useState and useEffect hooks. One standout aspect was the exploration of APIs, enabling me to seamlessly integrate real-time data into my projects. I gained proficiency in variable manipulation, honed my ability to make asynchronous requests with Axios, and perfected the art of crafting visually stunning and responsive layouts with Bootstrap. This training has not only given me a robust understanding of React.Js but also the confidence to deploy JavaScript elements strategically, amplifying the functionality and user experience of web applications. As I look ahead, I'm excited to apply this knowledge to real-world projects, knowing that I can create dynamic and feature-rich web solutions. My heartfelt gratitude to the instructors and the training program for this invaluable expertise!

I thoroughly enjoyed the "Introduction to Coding" workshop. I have some experience in coding through previous education, but SheCodes was easy to follow and understand. I like how the homework is basic and focuses on repetition to allow students to get a better understanding of the fundamentals of coding. I am looking forward to the next workshop!

The SheCodes Basics Course is an excellent starting point to familiarize yourself with the introductory concepts of coding. I tried to learn coding before with a different BootCamp and that didn't stick because of a poorly structured curriculum and bad instructions. SheCodes is a whole different story - the lessons are bite sized and informative. The challenges are interactive and real life based, which makes them more engaging and fun. It is been super fun, even for a complete beginner with zero math skills! I completed the workshop in 3 days, so it has been a lot of hours of learning and coding but it went by in no time!
SheCodes Plus is more challenging to be honest, but it's always fun to follow and finish each of the assignment!
SheCodes Basic Add-on is great if you want to know how to make your HTML more interactive. I had a lot of fun learning these add-ons.

SheCodes is an incredibly accessible way for women around the world to learn how to code. The lessons are easy to follow and move at a good pace. The projects are not only interesting, but also have real life value as examples of what you can do for potential employers. I appreciate that Matt always encourages us to have fun and to take breaks when we get frustrated - it's a healthy attitude that helps prevent me from getting overwhelmed. When I was a teacher, I learned that the most valuable thing we can teach our students is the ability to learn. Teaching people how to learn, problem solve, and figure things out on their own is incredibly empowering. SheCodes does that for you. While it's not always the most fun as a student (😅), being put in situations where you have to apply previous knowledge to figure out a new puzzle is a great exercise for learning. You'll often find yourself in positions like that during your lessons, but you become all the more stronger for it.
I cannot express how glad I am that I took a leap and joined SheCodes. I enjoyed working on the World Clock website. These projects become more fun with each section covered.

The SheCodes Basics Add-On is much more simple than the basic course because it's truly step-by-step. I actually did this course after I took SheCodes+ which, honestly, gave me some necessary breathing room. SheCodes+ was a bit of a struggle for me, so after learning more CSS and simple javascript with this course it kind of reignited that wanting to learn more flame. This course was a lot of fun.
I loved this add-on! I enjoyed learning new elements to add while coding your own website! It was also fun yet challenging to build another website from scratch! I'd highly recommend this workshop after completing the Responsive workshop!

SheCodes Plus was a game-changer for me. I was looking for a career change and I was interested in web development. However, I had no prior experience or formal education in coding. I had been searching for a course to learn programming online for a while, and I reviewed various programs and courses at academies and universities, but none of them met my expectations. When I found SheCodes, I simply felt that this was the place where I should learn to program and I was not wrong. Lessons are clearly lined out and very easy to follow. Well planned out and split into bite-sized chunks that are easy to digest. Examples make coding easily understandable and application to real life makes it more fun.

I am so happy I took this course and grateful for the opportunity. When I started on week 1 I knew nothing about coding and thought it would be difficult to learn. but the lessons were so easy to follow and actually mor fun than I thought they would be.

I had so much fun learning more about JavaScript's capability and being able to build a weather app! You never know what you're capable of until you give it a try. While some of the scripting was super challenging, it was still manageable due to the amazing instructions and how the lessons are laid out. I'm so excited to continue my journey and see what other fun projects lie ahead.
This was by far the most challenging workshop of all. I learned a lot about React, and I had fun solving every roadblock I faced. I won't deny that sometimes I went to bed not knowing how to fix something, but ideas came through the next morning. Thanks to all the Shecodes team for being there when I needed it! This React course was packed with new information and challenged, especially the final week of putting all the components together and getting them all to work together. I was an absolute beginner starting out, I had no experience of CCS or JavaScript and I've learnt so much. I have thoroughly enjoyed every step of this SheCodes workshop 🙌 It is only the beginning, but I started this journey not knowing anything about coding, to actually putting a web page together from scratch - which is incredible in just 3 weeks. All of the lessons, tasks, and homework each week were very useful, not only do they help you gain a bunch of coding skills, they're actually tricky and challenge you! It's also really fun and has only made me excited to continue on this journey. 😊
