The SheCodes Plus Add On workshop was challenging at times, but built on my knowledge of JS that I learnt in the SheCodes Plus workshop. The final project was fun to make!
This is a great course. It was a lot fun, a good challenge and very satisfying to learn how to build a functioning weather app!
I had fun learning how to build with React. I look forward to using this new skill in future personal projects to work on my portfolio.
This course was challenging at times but also very fun! I feel that I have learnt some new skills and this is a brilliant addition to the "Basics" course.

SheCodes was a fantastic way to learn the fun of coding. As a complete beginner, the course did a good job of teaching the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The SheCodes team was also a big help with answering any questions I might have had.

I had some previous knowledge in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and the structured curriculum made it easy to review the basics, while challenging myself into more advanced topics. What set this course apart was the weekly deadlines and its commitment to staying current — covering the latest updates and best practices in web development. The challenges in each lesson provided a practical edge, allowing me to immediately apply and update my skills. The course had a cool interactive setup with example projects, and we could chat and get support on Slack. It felt like a community, making learning not just educational but also really fun. Overall, it's a must for anyone looking to learn the basics from zero and/or refresh their knowledge in web development.

I was super excited to create this project. I had so much fun and I gained so much experience and confidence to do "bigger" projects. I learned more in javascript and I am excited to go build different applications with what I have learned.
I started my coding journey a couple of weeks ago. I have a non-technical background and I have developed my career in client-facing and pure business roles. For years, I have told myself the coding world wasn't something for me. Needless to say, three weeks into the SheCodes course and I feel like I was completely wrong. Coding is fun, and brings out a lot of my creativity and makes me constantly think. I highly recommend SheCodes!
Possibly the most fun project IMO as of yet. Still lots and lots to learn but slowly starting to wrap my head around things!

These past 3 weeks have been so fun. I've learned so much from Matt, and I appreciate how easy each lesson was to follow along to. I had a lot of fun working on SheCodes Plus project - it was very challenging, especially towards the end, but always positive and entertaining. Matt was very good at explaining all the material - all the instructions have been easy to follow and there's always been help when needed. I can't wait to continue onto the next SheCodes workshop! I can highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a little insight into the art of coding. The content is easy to understand and there are interesting exercises and challenges. Overall it's really fun! My goal is to get to frontend development and get a job as a frontend developer. So far, I feel that this is achievable based on my experience during this workshops.

SheCodes is such an immersive workshop. Here we learned about the moment.js library, built to simplify the retrieval of data concerning times and timezones across the globe. I had a lot of fun building the World Clock App using this amazing tool.
The lessons are pretty easy to follow once you get accustom to them. Everything is so much fun to learn.
Great workshop! It was challenging, but you get to transform your design concepts into interactive and user-friendly experiences. You will learn to bring not only your website to life but also learn important responsive fundamentals for smaller devices with Bootstrap and media queries.
I've always wanted to learn how to code and build websites but I was never able to find a reasonably priced and fun course that I could stick to. That all changed when I found Shecodes. I have had so much fun and learned a lot in just a few weeks. The interface is appealing and easy to use and I really like the fact each class requires you to immediately put what you learned into practice. This really helped new principles stick. I am looking forward to completing the next workshop!

I am really appreciative that I had the chance to enrol in SheCodes. It was a fantastic experience that made learning the principles of coding interesting and enjoyable. I didn't have much expertise with coding before SheCodes. The idea of learning to code has always scared me, but SheCodes made it fun and simple. The instructors are constantly ready to assist you if you run into difficulties, and the lessons are easy to follow and well-paced. I adored the fact that SheCodes is a group of women who encourage and support one another. Throughout the programme, I made a tonne of new friends, and we all supported one another's development. I was able to create my own website and web application by the end of SheCodes. I couldn't have done it without SheCodes, and I was incredibly pleased of what I had achieved.
It was an amazing experience and a lot of useful information in a very fun way of learning!

I just completed the basic front-end course, and I have to say it was a nice experience. The content was well-structured and easy to follow, even for someone with minimal prior knowledge in web development. The instructors were knowledgeable and did an excellent job explaining concepts in a simple and understandable way. The hands-on exercises and projects were especially helpful and fun, as they allowed me to apply what I learned in a practical context.

The SheCodes Plus workshop really helped me to develop my coding skills even further! The use of JavaScript is way more intense in this one, but it shows how powerful and dynamic this language can be. As usual, it is also important to point out that it's always appreciated that Matt takes you step by step along the lessons, otherwise, those who are very new to coding (like myself) may lose their footing. But, even if that happened, a member of the team would always help me in Slack :) I learnt a great deal and had fun working towards my final project! I am so looking forward to start with the next workshops now so I can learn how to use React!

I have been raving about this program to anyone that is interested in coding whether it's do learn a new language or brush up on some skills. The whole reason for me taking these workshops is because I'm going to ultimately change my career over to becoming a front end web developer from being a professional makeup artist and beauty educator for 10+ years. I really loved this add on workshop it really is very exciting and interesting to me. I have adhd and for me if I'm really interested in something I will hyperfocus on it until the end of time. The program is really easy to understand and so much fun.

I really enjoyed the experience of understanding and developing old skills I had from the time I used the have a blog in 2003. Back in the days I had a lot of fun playing and trying new things on my templates without really knowing the reason to work or not some feature that I had changed. With the course I realized how much I used to do without the knowledge. It was awesome to learn the reason and really understand how lading page and coding works.
