Building a personal website was SOOO fun, you use everything you have learned. I was amazed that I gained such knowledge and remembered how to do the things that we talked about in the first two workshops. {😃}
I did the whole SheCodes Basic course! It was fun and easy to understand. But like everything else, coding needs a LOT of practice and I'm looking forward to practice some more. It was also fun exploring the possibilities of codes. Before, I didn't know where to start and now, I guess I've started! Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team for making this happen.
The challenges were so fun and I enjoyed each course as it's guided step-by-step; not overwhelming.
SheCodes Basic was a great introduction to coding, I had so much fun learning how to use HTML/ CSS and JavaScript. Matt gave a great overview on what to expect when learning code. For someone who had literally no knowledge of coding, learning to code can be daunting but the SheCode Basic course made me feel confident and left me wanting to learn more, which is something I will definitely pursue.
Shecodes is an amazing platform for women to learn coding! I loved it and learnt so alots. The weather app was interesting and fun to build. I learned a lot. The structure of the course was sometimes confusing though which may have been due to the course being updated while I was in the middle of it.
I really enjoyed this workshop, even though the concepts were a lot different from the previous workshops, I had fun building with the idea of components as building blocks. I'm hoping to get more familiarity with the usage and functionalities of the React framework, and use it for my personal projects and professional career.

This course was a perfect reminder of everything taught in the initial basics course. The add-on course provided additional knowledge regarding CSS and JavaScript and was overall a really fun course to participate in whilst gaining technical and practical knowledge.

I had so much fun learning html, css, and javascript. The occasional bumps in the road did happen, but I had access to all the tools I needed to find the solutions. This is a wonderful workshop and I'm excited to move on and keep learning more!
This was so much fun! I loved how the lessons built on each other, and the exercises were short steps so I could follow very well how it all came together! It was a relief to be able to get one extension, as I needed to spend more time on some exercises, and now I believe I got what it takes to continue!

I think what makes SheCodes different from other courses is that it keeps you interested. SheCodes shows you how fascinating it is to code and lessons are designed in a way that keeps you motivated. that first step that I took to take the SheCodes Basic has changed my life. now I finished SheCodes React and I came a very long way thanks to the well structured lesson plans and the way the complex topics were broken down and explained. I've had the opportunity to explore coding in a fun and supportive environment, which has made all the difference in my learning experience. Thank you Matt, thank you SheCodes team.
This add-on project was really fun! We learned a lot of cool ways to add more design and tweaks to our code to make a website look prettier and more functional. I really enjoyed this little project!
I had prior knowledge about the basics of HTML/CSS/JS coming into the course, but I had so much fun picking up new skills and getting creative on my own final project. This course is a journey, for sure. I went from feeling extremely frustrated to overjoyed in seconds by just being able to figure out Javascript functions. 💪 I'm really proud of the end result and of myself for understanding something that used to break my brain. And, of course, the self-pacing aspect will always be a plus, especially when life happens and you need an extension 🤓
This course was great! I loved the flexibility! Life happened many times and I kept pushing my start date back until over a year after I signed up, and then again a few times once I started. But because of this I was able to actually do the work and learn from the class! I really appreciate that I was able to do this class for my own enrichment amongst my insane and unpredictable schedule and not have to stress! Perhaps once things calm down again I'll take another class, it was fun to see a final project using all the techniques I learned!
