Looking back, I am amazed at how much I have learned and grown through the SheCodes Plus program. It has not only provided me with cool and relevant skills but has also ignited a passion for coding that I am excited to continue exploring. I am grateful for the opportunity to have been part of this program and am looking forward to applying these skills in my future endeavors.
I was applying to college when unfortunately, the college I wanted to go to stopped taking secondary schooling students. So, when I started looking into other options. I remembered seeing a lot of She Codes adds a lot on YouTube a year ago and thought it was really cool, but I had other plans till I didn't. So, I looked into it. Surprised by how reasonable the prices were and read a bunch of reviews. And decided to just go for it. A leap that I'm glad I took. I really liked the pacing of the lessons and how I was able to fit them into my schedule while working full time. It was easy and hard at the same time, but I wrote a lot of notes. I found it really fun to tweak everything and kept having to remind myself when I got frustrated. That I only started learning a little while ago. But I kept at it and was surprised to see how much I learned in such a short time.

After leaving community college ten years ago for personal reasons, I was nervous about learning again. My previous degree was a programming degree, and I found my classes to be frustrating and boring. I saw an Instagram advertisement for SheCodes and wanted to give coding a try again. I'm so glad I took that first step. The basics course was so fun and Matt made everything clear and easy to understand. I look forward to learning more! 😄

I started this program thinking it would be something I may never be good at, that it may be too difficult to grasp and go right over my head. I'm ending this program absolutely in love with how amazing, fun, and creative coding is. I can't wait to pursue coding further and take this into my professional life. This course was an absolute blast! Not only did I delve into advanced JavaScript techniques and API integration, but I also found myself thoroughly enjoying the coding process. The tutorials and exercises are very well designed and make code management seem like part of the fun.
