This add- on project was actually one of my favorite projects so far. I was taught advanced JavaScript as well as going back to the basics when it came to designing my website. I had fun with this one!
Learning Front End Software Development always felt overwhelming, but SheCodes Basics broke it down into manageable steps. The interactive lessons and audio exercises made it fun and engaging. I was surprised at how quickly I progressed. Within three weeks, I could design a plain interactive website. While preparing the arrival of my 2nd baby during my maternity leave, I thought it will be fun to finally use some if this time to learn the basics of coding. Indeed I am a Product Manager since 5 years now and it has always been something I missed to learn at school. Objective is now reached, I had a lot of fun doing the training and it gave me a very good overview of the work our engineers are doing everyday.

There's always so much to learn and to improve on. I feel like I'm getting better at understanding how to create a more responsive and attractive website. This was another difficult, but fun project to add onto your CV and showcase your work. I highly recommend trying out this course and all their courses if you want to continue to apply yourself, practice coding, and gain more experience.

Finishing up the SheCodes AI project was amazing. Playing around with AI opened up a whole new world of possibilities and creativity. It's been fun exploring how AI works and seeing what cool things it can do. Can't wait for the next challenges!
Before trying the SheCodes workshop I had mainly coded in python and R Studio for uni. What I loved about SheCodes is that it allowed me to combine my passion for design and 'pretty things' with my fun for coding. I loved the overlap of coding and being able to use my creative side to make something I'm passionate about and make it look pretty.
Matt continues to be a fantastic teacher. I now have a much more secure grasp of workflow, project development and the processes required when building a webpage. SheCodes Plus Add-On helped to consolidate my understanding of date and time functionality in Java Script and I was able to continue to hone my skills in HTML, CSS and Java Script. I am looking forward to continuing my coding journey with SheCodes.

I thought learning to code would be a huge hurdle because it looked complicated and unachievable. I took the free 60-minute course with SheCodes and realized that I understood the material and that it actually looked fun! Now that I've completed my final project, I feel waayyy more confident to take on more coding projects and learn more about JavaScript. Instead of just doing the minimum, I found myself customizing so many things and that it was coming easy to me. I would highly recommend SheCodes to anyone who would like to learn to code and take it seriously😊
This SheCodes Basic Add-On course and project is a great addition to the main SheCodes Basic workshop. The additional CSS skills that it teaches are helpful in ensuring that you can create a beautiful landing page with an organized layout and some fun animation.
These were the longest 8 weeks of my entire 26 years ,but i wouldn't trade them for anything because they have equiped me with such incredible skills and knowledge! I went from only being able to create a static page using HTML,CSS and basic JavaScript to creating my own weather application, which for me is beyond greatness because when i first started i didn't even know what HTML Elements were😂🤦♀️. I am going to keep working on mastering these 3 languages and add a forecast to my pride-themed weather application. I am grateful to Matt for making my coding journey so much fun and easy, he really knows how to explain things in a way that even if its hard you finally get to the point where you're like,"oh yeah, i see it now" and that is the best feeling. Thank you, Matt! I am also grateful to my Slack Community for always being there to answer my questions and rescuing me whenever i got stuck. I look forward to learning more and finding my space as a front-end developer at the end of this amazing journey offered to me by SheCodes Foundation.
The past 3 weeks flew by, which is proof of the fact how easy I could combine my daily work and the contents of this course. It was super fun to learn about the basics of coding and I increasingly grew into the mindset of a coder. Even though I do not think I want to make this my full-time career, it is super helpful to understand more of this topic especially for my job I currently work in.
SheCodes Basic was a great introduction to coding. The lessons are both fun and accessible and ease you into the world of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The challenges allowed me to apply what I learned immediately, building my confidence with each step.

I am amazed at what I have learned to say the least. I enjoyed the overall curriculum, including the step by step explanations supplemented with hands-on practices that allowed me to fully experience the basics of coding. I was not only able to learn the basics, but I became familiar with how to identify my errors, code in the proper format and actually understand the functions of what I was developing. I look forward to continuing my learning journey as an aspiring Front-End Developer.

SheCodes is really great for people who are new to coding, the video tutorials are short and sweet so it is easy to grasp the content taught without zoning out. I love how after each and every lesson we are given a chance to apply what we learnt and this makes the workshop fun. In as much as the workshop is self paced, I love the idea of having deadlines put in place.

It has been a really fun and very rewarding journey learning how to code with She codes. I've learned a lot of things about coding and my whole view on coding has changed. I used to think that code is very challenging and might be impossible to learn, but I see that it's possible to learn step by step with she codes.
Shecodes has helped me develop a high-in-demand skill in a way that I couldn't possibly imagine. It's been a roller coaster ride, but it has been most amazing, and fun. I have most definitely fallen in-love with coding.
This was a really fun workshop! I learned so much about how to make a webpage responsive and SEO friendly, as well as how to link multiple webpages together. Following along with Matt made it that much more helpful, as well as the help provided in slack. I highly recommend! It was a great way to refine previously learned coding skills and learn new ones!

This course is not meant to be simple but it is a language and with practice and the great videos from Matt, you do get there and it's a lot of fun!

I'm finding SheCodes a lot of fun. Matts style of teaching is really accessible and engaging and I'm finding that the knowledge is sticking more than it has with other courses I've tried. I'm really enjoying learning wth SheCodes and excited to continue on this journey.
It's been a while since I started my coding journey, and what can I say? It's been a rollercoaster, but definitely worth it. I went from not knowing any coding to coding a whole functional website, and it's all thanks to Matt's teaching and the lovely community of She Codes. If you're looking to start, just start, for the only regret you will have is not starting earlier.
Lessons are made so easy I had fun the entire time of learning.
The final project in this workshop was an absolute blast! And while having fun, I also soaked up a tremendous amount of knowledge. This workshop was a perfect blend of excitement and learning.
I had so much fun learning every day. I love how I get to learn something new and be able to express my creativity. I had fun doing this. It was experimenting of which API to use and that is free for use. I had to redo everything because sometimes it works and then the next day it doesn't. Just a normal day in web development.
At SheCodes, I had the opportunity to study the fundamentals of Front-end, which provided me with a solid base of knowledge in the area. At first, I was a little afraid to follow the classes in English. However, the teacher uses a language simple and intuitive, which allowed me to fully understand all the lessons. This accessible approach made learning easier and more rewarding for me.

SheCodes React Workshop is a great way of learning a lot of react basics. Thanks to the many small challenges after each unit, you can apply what you have learned very quickly and later integrate it very well into the final project which is a lot of fun.
