This is a very comprehensive program with lots of support along the way. I feel more confident in my HTML, CSS, and JavaScript understanding and functionality. I would recommend this to anyone just getting started!
My name is Linda, Linn for short. I have worked in hotel and restaurants for my whole life and I've been very successful in that area. However, I got a daughter who just turned one, and it was impossible for me to continue working those hours. Therefore I looked up other opportunities and found that coding seems fun and interesting. I have no prior experience from it, but so far it is so much fun and I can really see myself working with this in the future.
I had a lot of fun learning these rookie coding skills. This workshop completely exceeded my expectations! I feel a little bit more ready now to level with any challenges I might face in my career and, also, very much aware of the power of coding. I am looking forward to continuing this journey in the future.
SheCodes Plus bootcamp is a great course to learn about Front End Web Development. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed applying the learnings by building a weather app.

SheCodes Plus has been an amazing experience but honestly it was challenging too. Before joining SheCodes plus I enrolled myself with the SheCodes Workshop and it really helped in making me understand the fundamentals of programming. All of the lessons are created in a way that is easy to understand and fun to implement. During the SheCodes Plus workshop apart from HTML, CSS and JS I also got a chance to learn about API integration, GitHub and Netlify to host the applications. This workshop was so amazingly designed to the point were even though I came across difficulties I wouldn't demotivate. It not only gave me an idea of how fun it is to code, but it forced me to overcome adversities by my self (although I could always ask for help). I am super happy with the decision I made by signing up, I will definitely come back to do a more in depth program. Thank you Matt, and all the programmers that made this experience possible.

SheCodes bootcamp takes the mystery out of coding and make projects straight-forward to learn development skills in HTML, CSS, and Javascript. In completing the weather application, though there were moments of frustration, the scope and the instruction helped me overcome the challenges of using vanilla Javascript to build a functional application. I can't wait to take on more challenges!

This workshop is a really fun and engaging way to start learning to code. Matt's videos are easy to follow, and being able to chat to other students on Slack is a super unique and motivational way of doing an online course like this. Really enjoyed it!
This was harder and easier than I expected it to be, honestly. :) Once I got the hang of things and acknowledged that I needed more review time with the lessons, it was much easier. If you're interested at all, I say take a class! It is very rewarding, fun, and the support you receive is great!
SheCodes React was surprisingly a fun challenge! The lessons follow an organized and simple way of learning how to code using React. Besides that, we also learn how to solve common problems and turn ideas into real apps/websites. 😎
I was never brave enough to learn coding, until I got to know SheCodes. I would have never ever thought that this will be so much fun! Matt explains everything little by little and the challenges after each explanation make it easy to remember what he explained. A friend of mine suggested me this web coding course and I thought it was a great idea! I was quite enthusiast about learning how websites and pages are structured and work. At first, I admit that I was afraid of not being able to follow the lessons and do the exercises, but the course is well-structured and everything is explained clearly. The most fun thing is that you can immediately see what you are creating and I think that's amazing. Almost like having a magic wand. Thanks to Matt and SheCodes Team, I have learned the basics of HTML, Java and CSS. :)
I loved the SheCodes+ course and working on my finale project. It was intense, and some challenges can be difficult, but Matt explains things super clearly and makes learning very fun. The team is so nice, and available to help. I liked that there is also a bit of interaction on Slack with other students. I've succeeded to complete the course while working full-time and being pregnant, and I'm not sure I could have done it with a different course. I'm really grateful for this opportunity, and looking forward to learn more about coding.

Hi everybody! My name is Joana and i'm a 30 years old kindergarten teacher from Portugal! I realized that I could be so much more than that so I've recently expand my actuation areas and, to be able to reach everyone, I need some basic programming skills to leed with websites and more...but I neveeer thought that I would like it so much! I actually have some basic knowledge about programming. However, the technology is always evolving, and it is hard to catch up all the time if there is less opportunities to leverage its skillset. Complete beginner here! I've tried and failed, start and stopped free coding workshops, and felt convinced I would never get the hang of it. I wasn't cut out for coding. Now, I'm sad it's going to be over! I had so much fun learning from Matt, the tools were amazing and the knowledge feels like a huge stepping stone for me! I was itching to get my two little girls to bed every night these past three weeks so that I could get to my challenges! The project was so fun, I finished it early :) I cannot recommend this enough.

First of all, it has been a lot of fun to create by using html, css and JavaScript. I was very scared to dive into the tech world before joining SheCodes. I did a lot of researches on different courses to be a developer but so far, I find this course most suitable for me. Matt 's lecture is so practical and I like the fact we actually "code" instead of going through a lot of theories. I am excited to continue my journey as a developer thanks to SheCodes!

I have thoroughly enjoyed doing the SheCodes Introduction to Coding Workshop, and I'm very much looking forward to starting SheCodes Plus! Matt explains things clearly, and I think the course set-up is excellent - the challenges are very helpful, the homework is useful for helping cement the new knowledge, and the final project was a fun way of testing my new skills, and starting off my coding portfolio. The Slack community is also very supportive, and it feels so good when you can help others as well. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to get into coding, whether you are starting from scratch or have some very basic HTML knowledge like me.

In the past I had a short adventure with coding while my studies and after that experienced I was sure, coding is not something for me. Few years after that experience I decided to give a chance to SheCodes and I'm extremely happy I did! Each SheCodes lesson is explained very well and it makes the whole learning experience fun :) I highly recommend it to anyone, who wants to learn at least basics of coding.

When I decided to learn how to code I found out a lot of free material available online but I was missing structure, support, and motivation. SheCodes made coding looks easier, colorful, and funny. On top of that, I just love their mission of reducing the gender gap in the tech industry. Can't wait for the next steps!
Overall, it's been a fun coding experience! The lessons are well balanced with clear instructions and practical self-learning excercises. I went into SheCodes with 0 coding experience. I've had a great time the past three weeks where I've learned and done more than what I thought I was capable of. I strongly recommend this workshop for women who have always been intimidated of coding, don't let that hold you back! At the beginning I could not imagine I was going to find coding fun but I genuinely do now and I can't wait to learn more.

I've always wanted to experience the world of coding despite the lack of interest to pursue a career in it. The realms of logic, knowledge and problem solving, however, were enough to keep this goal on my bucket list for a long time. After learning how to do the same exercise with Vanilla Javascript, I have to say React is so much more fun. Still hard but things make more sense. The last three months have been challenging and enriching. Learning how to code will change my career and I thank SheCodes for helping me take the first steps.
The SheCodes React workshop was incredible. I gained so much knowledge. The course was challenging, but fun. The concepts were easy to comprehend. SheCodes takes the time to help you when you need further clarification and assistance. I started SheCodes in June with the first course and worked my way up to React. These three workshops taught me so much and I feel more confident about coding. I learned how to design, code and gained a full understanding of what the code means. I have obtained a valuable skill which I am sure I will be able to use in my career. I am happy I made the investment and joined the SheCodes community.

The "classes" were broken down in to small, digestible segments. That worked well for me. It was completely hands-on, which is the perfect way to learn this type of material. Matt's enthusiasm was contagious. I did end up having fun writing code. At first I didn't like being assigned a task that wasn't covered. But that was an important part of the experience. For the final project, I was comfortable searching for answers to my questions on-line. Thank's SheCodes. It was great!

The SheCodes introduction workshop is easy and fun to follow. The videos have great quality. It is also great that not everything is given through each lesson, and research must be done. Also, having a feedback on the homeworks is truly useful.
I was rally surprise to learn such complicate tasks in such easy way of explanation.Some of them I had study additionally in other resources but the basic concept of Matt teaches is understandable.I don't know if I would ever undertaken to do it ,but it's quite exciting and funny work with elements of creativity and fantasy.I recommend for beginners or complete dummies to take his course (even for men🤦♂️).Further I would like to improve my knowledge and practical experience in coding. I didn't think I would enjoy coding to be honest. However, I surprised myself by truly having fun with it. Matt made it simple and easy to follow steps.
