SheCodes basics add-on was exciting to work through. I had fun learning animation and grids, along with creating a dark theme for my page. I can confidently say I am so proud of my progress, thanks to Matt!
Participating in the She Codes React project was a transformative experience. The easy and entertainig way in which the instructor teaches the classes enables you to stay engaged and experiment with the new features you learn along the way. The journey doesn't end here for me, I will follow the more advanced workshops, thereby building upon the solid knowledge I have acquired so far.
I've just completed the Basics course at SheCodes, and it was a fantastic experience! I really enjoyed getting my first look into coding, which was both challenging and incredibly rewarding. Taking a basic coding course was a great experience! Doing my first project was so satisfying and boosted my confidence. Matt is a great instructor and the whole experience was fun and very motivating. Now I feel ready to start my coding journey! Overall, it was a fantastic introduction to programming!
To be honest, React is not the easiest thing to learn. At times it feels a bit overengineered and unnecessarily complicated. But Matt splits it up in easily manageable tasks. So in the end I had a lot of fun learning and I am quite proud that I managed to build a weather application using React.
I gained more knowledge and confidence in this add-on and had a lot of fun building the world clock based on one of my favorite kawaii character!
Once again, I can't believe I've come to the end of another challenging but fun project. The SheCodes Plus Add-On project was truly engaging, and learning how to utilise JavaScript to create a functional world clock has been empowering. Thanks to Matt and the SheCodes platform, I've gained valuable skills and confidence in improving my coding.
After having had completed SheCodes Basics, SheCodes Plus, and all Add-ons, initially Python Basics felt relatively "simple". I was very happy with the repetition of certain terms used, and of course it did get a lot more complex week by week. By using rich, it makes it a bit more fun for a backend system :) Would totally recommend this course, Matt is doing an amazing job at teaching as always!
SheCodes Basics is an outstanding introduction to front-end development. With no prior experience, I learned the basics in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and by the end of the course, I created a fully functional interactive landing page. SheCodes was initially challenging since I had no coding background, but the detailed lessons and reinforcing challenges made all the difference. I loved being able to rewatch videos whenever I needed and use Slack to ask questions and get help with my codes. This made learning fun and effective!
It was a little intimidating at first to jump into a whole new world of coding, but it turned out to be a lot of fun. I really had such an enjoyable time learning, so thank you!

I had some basic web development experience however with the SheCodes BootCamp I was not only able to re-learn the basics in a fun engaging and hands-on way, but I also understood the concepts and their applications which I think is the most important part of coding if you were to apply these skills in real-world development.
I was a little disappointed at first to be building another weather forecast app. Eventually, I was glad I did - it's good to compare your work then and now and to see how you can approach the same project differently. React itself was fun to learn - that rewarding feeling when you grasp a new concept is priceless.
I have had so much fun completing this course so far and have learned alot. The way Matt explains things is easy to follow. I can't wait to keep continuing to the next course.
This course has been very insightful, especially in learning the possibilities with javascript. It has been fun yet challenging to make the code function they way I desired, but it was a great learning experience.

The three week workshop was a lot of fun and although I had no idea about coding before, I was able to understand everything. I had so much fun that I will definitely participate in further workshops with SheCodes.

I truly enjoyed creating this project and learnt a lot of useful skills such as HTML tables, embeds, grids etc. I'm so happy with the outcome of my landing page about Tulum and I found this add-on course really fun and note-worthy as you can create various forms of creative websites utilising these skills that Matt teaches you. I look forward to pursuing SheCodes React and producing more aesthetically pleasing, functioning websites.

I am incredibly proud of myself for reaching this far! I got to utilize all the tools and skills I learned from previous workshops to create my own portfolio completely from scratch, and it was such a challenging yet fun experience. The results are definitely satisfactory and impressive!

This is so much fun
It was a hard couple of weeks of learning (in my opinion as the module is densed and packed of learnings) but I wouldn't have gone through it without Shecode's slack support team that really helped me figure out where I did wrong on my homework or when I just don't understand anything at all they're there to help! It was fun and frustrating at the same time but here I am! I did it and I am still pushing on to finish this till the end :)
Such a great introduction course to try on the coding world. It def gave me a lot of insight and understanding of how it all works through fun and educational steps! Can warmly recomend for anyone interested.

React was definitely the most difficult workshop for me, probably because the coding method is completely different than the others with all the external components. However, I'm happy to have learned it and it was fun as well!

Super Fun way to brush up my Skills!
A fun and rewarding add-on. Once the basic structure is complete, I find the most rewarding process is trying to get the functions to work and then consolidating them so I am not repeating myself. Trying to get the functionality I want without introducing any bugs or losing the desired output has me spinning in circles at times, but when it comes together there is a great sense of accomplishment.
The AI Add-on workshop was super fun! This add-on did not only teach me about using an AI API but also helped to reinforce all of the other skills I've learned in previous workshops.
A fun and challenging 2 week course in AI. Strong introduction into the basics of prompt engineering and using AI APIs.

A fun project to work on!
The course was explained in a manner that was easy to digest and understand. The mini-challenges were fun, and the weekly homework was challenging and helpful. I enjoyed this basics workshop a lot and I can't wait to keep practicing my front-end skills!
The Plus Add-On project has been a lot of fun and has helped reinforce everything we learned in Plus. I'm looking forward to continuing the bootcamp!
I have to say, this one was a little more challenging than what we previously covered. But, it was an incredibly rewarding experience. This course pushed my boundaries and expanded my skills in ways I hadn't imagined. Firstly, Matt was phenomenal as always. He is truly an expert in this field and has a knack for explaining complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner. His passion for coding is infectious, and it continues to keep me motivated throughout the course. What I loved most about this class was the challenging part of it, which was to apply everything we learned from the lessons on a project. I really enjoyed seeing everything coming together with each and every style, action and function that got applied. Despite the challenges, the class fostered a supportive learning environment. The incredible team from slack was forever on standby to assist wherever they could. In the end, I emerged from this class with a much deeper understanding of coding and a newfound appreciation for tackling difficult problems.
This course is a great way to learn how to code. Although there are lots of free resources online, nothing compares to the ease at which one can build a strong understanding of the fundamentals of each language using SheCodes.

This was a fun but challenging workshop. However, the step by step guide and explanations in the videos, as well as additional sheCodes resources, really helped me understand what I was doing. The team was helpful when help was needed to figure out any issues I was having, and I am happy with how my final project turned out.
SheCodes is the best place to learn coding , the instructor explains everything so perfectly , there is a lot of assistance available should you get stuck and you get to see and celebrate others achievements which pushes you and motivates you to do the same. I would recommend that more women get into coding as it is a complex but good industry. I had a lot of fun learning how to code!

Today marks the end of eight weeks journey with SheCodes Foundation. Those eight weeks have been so amazing. I can code with advanced html/CSS, JavaScript data types and function, how to work with UI development and can use API. Beyond the technical skill acquired, I have learned to go extra mile, not to give up and when things are still not working take a breath (amazing advise from instructor Matt Delac) and that really works. This feeling of satisfaction when you finally built an application and see it take shape.
