I could tell how much Shecodes Workshops are good, but I think we have enough testimonials about it here. Because, yes, this course is amazing, easy to follow, to understand and Matt is a really good teacher, but In fact I want to share more than this. Here I found it a community where you can grown together with wonderful girls around the world and a support team that really cares about you and your progress. Now I'm proud of myself to finish this first workshop and for built something good as my Final Project. Thank you Matt for everything and for this initiative to changing women lives giving us an opportunity to the IT world! I had so much fun during the whole workshop, and I'm so excited to see my new step in this coding journey. :)
The workshop provided a great intro to the world of React. I particularly enjoyed the fact that it was focused on learning how to look for relevant information and not learning by heart. I had a lot of fun working on my two final projects!

I joined the SheCodes Basics workshop while on maternity leave as I wanted to learn something new besides thinking just about the baby's arrival :) The workshop was a lot of fun. Everything was well-explained and I feel like I have a better grasp of what coding is about.
Super fun and challenging workshop! I have learnt so much over this workshop and it is so rewarding seeing it all come together in the weather app for the final project. I am so happy I continued and will continue on this coding journey :D. I am still so impressed with the teaching style and all the resources at our hands. Such a supportive learning environment which really makes it easier to keep going when you get stuck or feel lost for a moment or days or maybe a week. Looking forward to the next workshop!
I really enjoyed this course. It was easy to follow along and the assignments were fun. I thought coding would be an overwhelming skill to learn but this course made me realize how fun it can be.
Learning how to code presented some challenges as a beginner but turned out to be heaps of fun! Getting to see our final project come to life feels very rewarding :)
SheCodes Plus was a great experience! The coding challenges were always challenging but doable and mostly fun. The course structure was a little confusing at times but overall I really enjoyed the workshop and would definitely recommend.

I can't believe I've learned as much as I have in these past three weeks. SheCodes is a really great way to get your feet wet in the world of coding. The video lessons are quick and straightforward, perfect for learning in short bursts if you've got a busy schedule, and the challenges are great for putting your skills to the test. Plus...it was all loads of fun!
A very fun way to learn about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript! I enjoyed the challenges that were included in some lessons, it helped me prepare for the weekly homework and the final project.
I highly recommend this workshop for absolute beginners! is really fun to learn how to code. I also find SheCodes Radio pretty good and helpful to concentrate while coding. The way the videos are self paced make the course pretty flexible, but the deadlines for the homeworks give you the needed presure. Every lesson has a challenge to be completed on your own. In that way you get to put your knowledge on practice!

This course was amazing, I had so much fun and the challenges really motivated me to keep going. Matt is excellent at explaining everything and the team is incredibly helpful, should there be any issues.
I find the coding class awesome! It was great fun! I learned a lot but there is a lot more. I am looking for new opportunities in my career and this is helpful to be able to make a CV or portfolio, connect with people with a simple webpage. The slack was very useful. It is great to be part of the community. The classes are well made and I will recommend them to my network.
I work with web content, and HTML and CSS always were a relevant part of my professional activity. I always thought that learning those languages (and some programming like Javascript) was possible only for people who liked and knew much math. But SheCodes not only taught me that coding is fun but also it is an activity for everyone. :)
I would recommend SheCodes to anyone interested in learning coding. The workshops, apart from everything being well-explained, are really fun. 300% better than what I was expecting. I worked the course around working and having a new baby. It's a flexible and informative course with all the support necessary.

SheCodes Basics was a great intro to coding and design, but SheCodes Plus takes everything you learned to a higher level. From learning to improve our designs with fonts, visuals & content positioning to learning complex functions and integrating real life data...this workshop really challenges you to step up your coding game!

As a recent graduate in Pharmaceutical Sciences, I knew nothing about coding when I started, and now, I'm leaving with so much knowledge and broader horizons! I'm really happy I did this course and these 3 weeks of the course have been really fun!
I think it was an excellent opportunity to learn new things. I would absolutely recommend it because I think that there are not many spaces made specifically for women and dissidents where these skills can be learned. I found it to be a wonderful and enriching experience. The world of coding is a space that I am just getting to explore and I loved learning it from a place that was so friendly, so simple, and in my own time. I think that the most remarkable thing that this workshop has, is that everything is very clear, the content and the lessons are very pedagogical and there are many opportunities where one can ask, and I believe that this is fundamental in an educational process.
SheCodes took something [which felt] daunting and intimidating, and made it simple and fun! Matt explains the "why" behind things, to better understand what you're doing [which you don't get from other online classes].
Really enjoyed the course. I liked that you quickly got into building something fun and usable. The instructions were clear so that although challenging, the course was not overwhelming.

This course was so FUN! It really builds on everything you've learned in other courses. I really enjoyed learning how to make pages responsive and customizing the code for the navbar.
Wow! I had a blast with SheCodes, and I've learned so much. This method of learning works well, and I appreciate that it's a flexible learning structure. I never would have thought I could go from a complete beginner to creating my own web page from scratch and have a lot of fun while doing it!

SheCodes Basics was FUN! The lessons were easy to follow, and I enjoyed that I could work at my own pace. Honestly, I found that coding wasn't hard to learn! There are so many misconceptions about coding, but it's all about practice and patience. I certainly recommend the Basics course to get yourself familiar with it!
When I started the course, I had zero knowledge about coding but was eager to learn. The workshop is incredibly well organized, Matt's teaching videos are very clear and I got so hooked that I found myself coding until the late evening. Those last three weeks were a lot of fun, thank you SheCodes!
I was super scared to take this step into coding, afraid I was not going to be capable enough. And now, after this 3 weeks, I feel confident to go forward with my learning. ☺️ I loved the way Matt explains and exemplifies, it made the process easier and fun. I definitely recommend SheCodes! Man, this was hard. I always knew SheCodes Plus would be harder than the initial workshop but I had no idea how much. However, I also had no idea how fun and interesting it would be! Despite all the challenges, occasional lack of motivation, work getting in the way, LIFE getting in the way, going back to my project and following Matt along was always very comforting. I've definitely learned how to code but I've also very much learned how to be patient (which is not easy for me at all). So if you're thinking about starting to code, if you've tried other workshops and never really followed through, trust me - this is the right one for you. Not only are the videos and the Slack community amazing, team SheCodes is absolutely the best as well. If you need help because your code isn't working, if you need extra extensions because life happens, they're all there for you and ready to help. 10/10 would do again, but instead I'll just move on to React!
I enjoyed the SheCodes workshop very much. Can't say how happy I am to have responded to this Instagram commercial I got two months ago. SheCodesPlus was fun, a lot of work, thoughtfully made and quite a lot of 💡- moments!
I am a beginner to coding and this course made me realize how much I love it. The lessons were easy enough to follow especially with such a great instructor. I love how every project gave you a little taste of problem solving which is needed in real world application. Not to mention is was so much fun I would be thinking about it at work and excited to come home to code. Would 100% recommend!

I have been trying to learn coding on my own but it never stuck but with SheCodes, I have learned so much and Matt makes it so fun and it gives me so much comfort to watch the videos and see that we also still makes mistakes sometimes and its not just a beginner thing.

A lovely project to learn everything from Javascript to APIs. I just wish they would show certain functions rather than saying they are too hard to do!

After completing the basic workshop I decided to also enroll in the SheCodes Plus Workshop – and I would highly recommend it! It can be challenging at times but the SheCodes-Team gives you wonderful and prompt support regarding any questions. I've been trying to get into coding for a while but just never find the right class for me. Matt's classes were just the right pace; not too fast and not painfully slow. The challenges were fun and kept me interested. Looking forward to taking another class with SheCodes when I'm done with this one!
I just finished my last project from SheCodes Basic. The curriculum is broken down into gradual steps so you don't have to worry if you are a total beginner. Matt Delac is an amazing tutor that will guide you through with short videos and challenges. He makes coding fun and his passion for coding is super contagious. Moreover, his team always check on you and the community is fantastic. I will definitely continue my journey at SheCodes!! 🥰

At first, getting into React seemed daunting and scary. It was this mystic creature with components all over the place and functions that jump around and you forget to include your CSS file and why won't it just work?! But then you start, and Matt's soothing voice guides you through your third breakdown and you listen more closely, connect a few components, and it starts to make sense. Maybe it's not so bad. Maybe you even like it. If there's a hiccup, the whole team is ready to help, and the support network from all the other women is priceless. This course is life-changing.

I started this course with very basic HTML and CSS knowledge and learned a lot during those 3 weeks. Matt does an amazing job at showing and explaining functions, possibilites etc.
The introductory course uses lots of fun examples and exercises. The instruction is very clear with plenty of examples. I really enjoyed the first step of the experience and can't wait to and expanding on my knowledge.
At the beginning of this course, I was familiar with coding and JavaScript; Now, I have a much deeper understanding of just how powerful functions can perform for us. The lessons that Matt provides on how we can extract specific data from API sources is detailed and straightforward, and the challenges give you a chance to test the knowledge in real time. Cannot recommend this course enough; I'm thrilled to use these new skills in the real world.
