The Basic course was Amazing, and I had a lot of fun! The best parts was figuring out my mistakes and learning from them all at the same time. I would love to continue with the remaining courses. The modules were easy to understand, plus the visual and hands-on-training made it perfect for my learning style!
As somebody that enjoys learning new things, this was a fun and useful workshop even if you're not aiming for a career in front-end development!

The entire course was a lot of fun! I have always loved the precise, abstract thinking required for programming, but had never used HTML, CSS or JavaScript. I wouldn't have thought it could be so addictive! I liked that all the lessons were concise, everything was very well explained and the challenges were not too hard. After work, I was always looking forward to proceeding with my SheCodes course! I'll definitely be back!

I have never thought that it could be so easy to learn coding! During my quarantine, I decided to develop myself to make a career change which I have alwasy wanted. I stumbled upon SheCodes after a quick research. I've learned the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript. Matt's way of teaching makes it a lot easier to a complete beginner to understand. SheCodes is not offering just videos to watch! The fact that there are challenges following each lesson enables you to practice what you've just learned. I am really thankful to Matt and to the whole SheCodes team! For sure, I will continue with SheCodes plus because it is so much fun and the satisfaction of coding and creating is inexplicable. 😀
SheCodes has been an awesome introduction into coding - i've loved the step by step approach to learning and the fact that you can go at your own pace. The community is incredibly supportive, helping each other work through problems with our code really quickly. A perfect way to dip your toe in the water - whether it's to pursue a future career as an engineer, or just for fun!
Lessons were well planned out and the order was easy to follow. The weekly homework assignments allowed me to apply everything learned over the week. All in all, I had a lot of fun and am looking forward to applying everything I learned in future careers.

I started with a beginners course out of curiosity. Coding is something really far out from the type of work I do right now, but I wanted to see if this is something I could enjoy doing. The videos and the assignments are fun and easy, which kept me motivated and interested in learning further :).
Wow! I can't believe it's been six weeks. Time flies when you are having fun. React is fun to learn and use. I like how Matt elaborates each process step by step and doesn't skip to introduce us to the basics first before jumping into the more complicated ones. A lot of things I learned from the Javascript workshop made a lot of sense after learning React. I can't wait to start the next workshop!
Due to the pandemic, I lost my job and I decided that it was time for me to do a job for me. I spoke with a friend about her job, as a Front End Web Developer. Shortly thereafter, I stumbled across an ad for SheCodes. I loved the message that was being expressed. I signed up and have loved the challenge. I have always been an individual who gets bored easily with jobs that don't challenge me. I have loved this experience thus far. I would recommend this to any one who is interested in learning coding, whether it be for a career change, or just for fun.
I have found my ultimate passion. This course was amazing, I enjoyed it so much and it made me realize how much I enjoy and love coding. I am certain that I want to do this for a living, which is a motivation that I hadn't felt in a very long time. The ree weeks went by so fast! I really wish it would have lasted longer. Matt was a great teacher, his way of teaching was easy to understand and always made me feel safe and trust that I could experiment, fail, succeed, or let whatever had to happen, happen. I had a lot of fun and I can't wait to be able to get into the next course.

It's such a big joy when you see the computer doing what you instruct it to do! I enjoyed this workshop a lot: the mini-videos help you understand coding step by step, so it's not scary anymore. It gets easier and funnier!
This was such a fun course. I managed to build my own responsive page, which I will be using from now on to share and showcase my work as a writer. It was very hands-on and the content was very useful and concise.
The React platform was so challenging, in the good way! It was a little bit confusing when the dictionary project was launched on Shecodes.io but this new project was really fun to do 🙂 Many thanks for all the team for this great platform.
I would highly recommend SheCodes to my friends. The workshop is very easy to digest. By now i've completed all of the SheCodes Workshops. It's so much fun! Doesn't even seam like i need to work after hours. I like how when i'm having trouble i can go over to Slack and check with all the other girls :) Would do it all over again. Thanks to all the SheCodes team!
This workshop was fun and super engaging! I truly enjoyed how each concept is broken down into bite-sized learning chunks! The Slack channel is very helpful and I absolutely felt supported whenever I had a question or concern throughout the workshop.
I´ve never coded before... At the beginning, it was pretty hard for me to get the logic. The challenges after each lesson helped me a lot and in the end, I was more than euphoric to do my own project! I am very happy with the result and it was a lot of fun, too!

Just finished my final project in the 3-weeks workshop "Introduction to coding". This course was a really good experience to learn the basics for coding. In particular, it's great that you can organise your time to complete lessons and challenges by yourself. It was so much fun taking this first step! :)
Responsive Design has been a fantastic follow-on from SheCodes Plus. Utilising live server and Figma during the process of design were excellent additions to my toolkit I was not expecting. Seeing how flexbox, media queries, and Bootstrap can all work together to create beautiful, functional websites has inspired me to look more into UX and UI design in addition to the core coding skills I am building.
Matt is a great teacher, I had so much fun learning how to code. Joao is amazing support, such a supportive team! Looking forward to learning React!!

SheCodes has given me a greater understanding of what it is to build a website and also the potential functions for UI & UX design.
Responsive was a bit more challenging, as I could spent days on colour schemes etc. as I'm clearly not made for designing. But it was a lot of fun again, I learned a ton to new things which will help me in the future.

Two years ago I did the SheCodes Workshop, without any basic knowledge of coding, and learned a lot. Now, with everything that is going on with our lives, I decided to invest on myself and improve my coding skills. SheCodes Plus was really fun. We're abble to learn at our own pace, always with the help from the SheCodes team. I do believe SheCodes empowers women. Gives them the skills to explore new paths that may have been too scary to try. Still have more to learn. Can't wait to start.

Fun and full of useful information in a bite sized format.
I decided to take part in SheCodes because I wanted a platform that really empowers women to take charge in their adventures of learning how to code. I found the lessons very informative and helpful. I think there was a fine line between helpful and challenging. It was challenging enough that I had to do research to explore the topics and really have fun with the different languages. I highly recommend this program for anyone on a budget and wants a more intensive experience.
I loved taking this workshop. Super easy to follow the instructor, and so exciting to be able to code on your own. The project at the end was very fun to work on!

I started this workshop with no coding experience at all and after three weeks I have learnt so much. If you're looking for a fun challenge then this is the workshop for you, SheCodes Plus really pushed me to go deeper into JavaScript which is exactly what I wanted. I now have a better understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript thanks to Matts lessons! He is very clear and shows us step by step how to work through functions and more. Yay, third workshop. There might be some hiccups, but definitely worth the while. The whole journey was fun and challenging. Sometimes I felt overwhelmed, but João was there to help. And the feeling of hitting the submit button gives me the sense of accomplishment. Am excited for the next workshop.
I wasnt even thinking of exploring coding as a profession until I started getting into IT. I saw several ads about SheCodes and decided to check it out. I have had so much fun learning! I have spent 6 years in higher education and can easily say these past three weeks have been a very happy three weeks of learning. I never thought I could know some of these languages and have fun with it.
Loved the experience! I've always had curiosity towards coding and programming, and SheCodes made it easy for me to understand the most important concepts. Amazing course that is detailed and thorough! It really ensures that you learn each element of the code before moving on to something more difficult. I loved being challenged through the assignments and feel like I now have a great grasp on the fundamentals of coding.

This was such a good intro workshop! It made coding fun and less intimidating.
Build a weather app from scratch which I'm very proud of. Cost me a lot of hours, sweat and tears but i succeeded. Implemented different Icons and colors to make it more fun. I'm really happy now with the result. Highly recommend this workshop for anybody who is interested in coding. It's hard work and very frustrating at times but total worth it. Can't wait for the next workshop to begin.
