I decided to challenge myself to get into the world of coding, I keep the SheCodes workshops and it was the best decision I made. Just finished my third workshop it was so much fun and challenging. Can wait to keep this journey thank so much for this opportunity :)
I have had such fun time learning how to code with Matt and the team at SheCodes! After finishing this program, I've realized how fun, exciting, and empowering it can be to learn how to code, and I am ending the SheCodes Basics program feeling very proud. Thank you to the SheCodes Team for making coding approachable, fun, and engaging, and specifically targeted toward the female:male imbalance in the tech world. Looking forward to the next workshop and eventually evening out the balances!

I had a lot of fun doing the course, which made these three weeks of learning very bearable. Today I finish the course with a lot of desire to continue learning. SheCodes basic is a very good option to learn the basics of coding in a short time and you can study any time and wherever you are. Matt is a very good teacher and provides us with easy to understand resources. I totally recommend this course.
I loved this class, it was a little difficult at first but, slack helps you with everything you need, it's very interesting and fun, I love it and am looking forward to learning more in the future

SheCodes is a great place to learn to code, even for someone who has never done it. The final project was great fun and allowed me to combine my studies in meteorology with coding.

I had so much fun learning JavaScript. I like that you can go at your own space and not be tied down to a class time. I was able to do this while working full time and taking care of my baby.
The SheCodes React course was definitely the most challenging and rewarding. It feels great to have some headway on my dev team to design better products that they can easily build in react. Using the Inspect function on chrome is a huge lifesaver when you can't wait for an answer or you're determined to succeed on your own.
Five months ago I started this journey to develop my tech skills. Thanks to Matt Delac and SheCodes staff I've now completed sucessfully 3 courses: - Coding Introduction - Frontend Development - React Development (the best!) It was such a crazy time, It was hard, but you really discover the fun in coding and it was something I thought never would happen. Would tottaly recommend! 5*
SheCodes gave me the opportunity to learn in a fun and easy way, despite having little to no experience in programming, the lessons where challenging but comprehensive, I feel like this course will open many doors and I’ll be prepared to take every opportunity that comes my way!
AMAZING coding course! And by far one of the best online courses that I have come across. I've loved every second of it. The short exercises throughout the week are super fun and really reinforce the learnings from the videos and prepare you for the weekly homework. By the end of the course, I was surprised at how much information I had retained about coding. When it came to doing the final project, it had already begun to feel so natural. It's been amazing to learn how to build a basic website page from scratch and see it come together in the final project. So a HUGE thank you for introducing me to coding and for such an excellent course.
I do really enjoyed learning about HTML, CSS and JavaScript! First I thought it's gonna be so difficult, but all lessons were easy to follow and... I had a lot of fun! :) I can't wait to learn more with SheCodes! :)

It was the perfect balance of challenging and encouraging, with the lessons very clear to understand and the challenges and homework pushing you to use your initiative and test things out. I have thoroughly enjoyed this course as it has added depth to my coding skills. It was easy to understand and follow, just like the SheCodes Courses I have take before and it was fun to complete the challenges. The final project in particular allows you to get creative if you want to. I would recommend the Responsive Workshop to any SheCoded Plus graduates, because it teaches you a variety of methods to improve your code and your website especially if you would like to make them mobile-friendly, which is basically a must nowadays!

Not only did I learn a huge amount in the three weeks the course took me, I now appreciate how much fun coding is and how experimental you can be! Learning to code in a fun way!
After completing the Plus and React course, this was a perfect way to enhance my UI/UX skills. I have had so much fun learning how to create a responsive app and i have finally found what I enjoy. I want to do this forever! I am so happy to have been part of the SheCodes family as I couldn't have done it without them!
I've always been interested in learning how to code. Now that I'm a designer, I think it would be good (and fun) to have front-end skills. This workshop was a helpful start! I can see myself taking more advanced workshops with SheCodes.
The SheCodes Plus course was an exciting but also challenging experience. I gained a much deeper understanding of how code actually works and what designs or functions can be possible. I am proud to be on this coding journey and already having learned so much about HTML, CSS and JS. The team is always there when needed to support and answer questions. SheCodes is very easy for novice and the challenge based learning is fun and goal oriented. This helped me to gain my confidence to come back in technology domain.

I never really knew or understood what coding actually was until I tried this class!! Turns out its way more fun and fascinating than I ever thought. I am a person who has to understand the logic behind things, and this class gives you the logical reasons behind coding as well as how to code. You learn all the rules you have to follow but also, how to just have fun with it and still be yourself!! For anyone interested in coding (even just the basic concepts)try it out!! Its very much worth the price and I have decided to continue on to more advanced levels of this program!! Happy coding!!

I started SheCodes to learn a little bit more about building websites and to be able to make changes to websites myself instead of having to source this task out. I have to say SheCodes made learning code easy and fun!
I tried to learn various coding languages in the past but I struggled to stay motivated and interested. This workshop was extremely engaging and the various challenges and homework we had to complete definitely helped to solidify what we learnt. It was a great introduction to HTML, CSS and Javascript, and the project was a lot of fun!
I have loved furthering my coding knowledge and watching my weather app develop into a fully functional app. Matt is an amazing teacher who breaks everything down really well.

I absolutely LOVED this course. So fun and easy to follow along. I'll definitely be doing the more advanced classes in the future. I honestly didn't think I was ever going to be able to do this, but I proved myself wrong and I feel sooo awesome.
I took this workshop dreading it, that's the truth... 🤷🏻♀️ During my Chemical Engineering degree, I had to take c++ and Matlab courses and I was so very bad at both, I barely passed. It was an awful experience. I promised myself - never again! After a while, realizing coding is not going anywhere, on the contrary, it's becoming a rather basic language so many of us speak, I decided it's time to try again. And although I might not dream of becoming a developer professionally, I wanted to understand what the developers I work with do, what it is that my friends talk about and why do all developers hate semicolons so much... To my surprise, this second coding experience for me was such a success! I absolutely loved it and I am looking forward to continuing this journey, it's such a fun one! ❤

I'm from Tel Aviv, Israel, which is often referred as the High-Tech Nation, but I've always felt like the world of coding is for people who are way smarter and creative than I. However I was curious and intrigued by SheCodes workshops as they made everything look so fresh, welcoming and, well, more suitable for women in general. The videos are not too long so it's easy to keep up and they are also packed with a lot of knowledge! Great experiance in every possible way. Don't get me wrong: it was hard, sometimes even frustrating but with all help that this course is giving, you can feel the real progress, have fun, exercise your brain (yes, I mean that !) and in the end: believe in yourself. WOW I coded this little app! This is only the very basic beginning but gives you a lot of satisfaction and even if you don't want to continue to code, the course was very worth it.

Having completed the SheCodes Basic workshop, I couldn't wait to start SheCodes Plus. I had learned so much in the first 3 weeks that I was excited to expand my knowledge and practical skills and this workshop didn't disappoint. The lessons were clear and easy to follow, with plenty of opportunity to practice and experiment with the skills being taught each week. The support team on slack have been super responsive and friendly too. I'm so proud of being able to go from a complete beginner to using advanced JS to build a functioning weather app in less than 3 months - thank you SheCodes!
SheCodes Plus is as great as the original workshops, just with more content.This part of the series refreshes you on the basic html, css and javascript learned previously, and extends upon it with more complex functionality and layouts (and how bootstrap can help). It also shows you how to use apis, how easy it is to use github and to host your own page. It has great explanations and examples, and you're encouraged to reflect on what you've learned which puts into perspective how far you've come.
The introductory course was a great intro to the principles of coding, and uses lots of fun examples and exercises. The lessons are taught in manageable chunks, and the instruction is very clear with plenty of examples. I really enjoyed the experience, and would encourage anyone else who has always been curious about coding, but lacking in confidence to give it a go! You will be surprised at what you will achieve! Thanks again!
SheCodes lessons are so creative. You are learning something new, improving your knowledge of coding, all while having fun. I only learned the basics but I am excited to continue widening my knowledge!

Fun and easy way to emerge yourself into the world of coding. Before taking this course I had no idea about any of it and although there's much more to learn, the basics are easy to understand!
Learning to create responsive websites was fun and effective. It felt like I was creating two websites in one without being overly complicated. It makes me want to revisit my old designs and improve their accessibility.
I am still in awe with how much content is covered in the SheCodes courses! The curriculum is definitely challenging and complex, but you are supported and encouraged the entire time. Before the Intro class, I didn't understand how HTML, CSS, or JavaScript worked together, and now working with them simultaneously in harmony seems like a dream! Creating a fully functioning World Weather App is both humbling and exhilarating. I understand I still have a lot to learn, but everyone with SheCodes has made my entire coding journey a proud and grateful one!😊 Thanks SheCodes!
This course was a little more challenging but very fun. Matt made it easy to understand and broke it down in a way to actually related to what I was learning. I love the go at your own pace. If I'm confused I can rewind the video or ask a question in the slack channel and someone will get back to me within the hour. It's been very fun learning this and I can't wait to get to the next section!!

The minute I started SheCodes Basics I was hooked. Writing code from the very beginning and figuring out how everything works has been so much fun. I finished the Basics class in January, then started SheCodes Plus in late March. The format worked really well for me, because I am currently a SAHM, so it was great being able to work around nap-times and in the evenings. Still, the weekly deadlines were also really useful to keep on track, which I think made SheCodes stand out for me. I also greatly appreciate that I was offered a discount, given I am currently not working. Creating this weather app from scratch was challenging at times, but Matt is a great teacher and I really value how much effort went into creating and planning this course. The video tutorials were always spot-on and I also loved learning about workflow and how to best organise your project. Building "Weather with Cheddar" gave me a lot of confidence, when I look back at the wireframe and now at the finished project, I can really see how far I have come. I know there is still heaps to learn and so many more problems to solve, but SheCodes Plus certainly gave me a solid foundation in understanding basic and some more advanced concepts in JavaScript. Thanks to everyone in the team for making this an overwhelmingly positive experience and also thanks to everyone in the Slack-community! I can't wait to start SheCodes React!
Great workshops overall! I get fundamentals insights in React development. After this workshops I feel confident to build other React applications. Matt teaches me how to build a concept to deploy the app online. Also I have to mention it was a great support concept using Slack.

What a great experience! Before I ventured into the world of coding, I thought it was a language from another planet. After the SheCodes classes, not only do I not think so, but I can create something unique, and completely my own. In this workshop you can apply what you have learned previously in the Basic and the Plus Workshop. It was great fun building my own website. And: I was able to build my own CV-App after three months of learning how to code. Yay =)

To start learning about coding was a personal (and professional) challenge. During these 8 weeks I actually had fund and learned a lot doing so. I would recommend this workshop to anyone willing to learn about coding! I work as a Technical Support Engineer and now, more than even, I feel even more ready to apply the knowledge I acquired in my day to day tasks.
With SheCodes courses I have seen that it is possible to understand the world of development, and that it can even be fun! It was here that I made my career change and today I have been hired as a developer and will have my first challenge :) I am very happy, and I thank the whole SheCodes team for making this possible!
SheCodes was a very intense but amazing experience. I never thought that learning coding would be this fun and that I could do such complex things as coding with React! I'm sure this will be a plus in my future career.

"ME TO MYSELF" learn to code! never hoo nice advertising; hoo nice 60 min intro; hoo nice 3 weeks basics; and now - hoo nice 8 weeks of "PLUS" Plus -> knowledge; Plus -> fun; Plus -> Challenge; I have Challenged myself to dive into too it. I did it with a full-time job/evening school/house renovation and ZERO knowledge - Took me a few weeks more than announced (broken computer ;-) -> not because of coding) but I did it, and now I'm proud. Although there's still so much to learn, I've already gained skills in HTLM, CSS, JAVA Script; I know what a VS code Editor and API are, I met Bootstrap, Github, and Netlify, and now I'm taking a "Rendez-Vous" with REACT.
