My coding journey with SheCodes is very satisfying. Start from zero coding knowledge to build a live project along with Mr Matt and his team from the slack is quite amazing experience and full fun at the same time. Mr Matt is such a wonderful teacher who teaches very clear and in a simple way so that it is easy for us to understand. To be honest, it was great decision that i have made to join the SheCodes. I've always wanted to learn some basics of css, html and javascript and didn't know where to start. This workshop was great to get started and was a lot of fun! I really loved that I could go at my own pace.
I am a beginner to coding and I found the lessons easy to follow. I LOVE that the lessons are short and to the point and definitely not dry and boring at all! I enjoy the challenges at the end of each lesson to reinforce the learning and in addition, Matt will challenge you to do a little bit of research on your own. I'm having fun with coding and can't wait to start SheCodes Plus!

I had a lot of fun and I enjoyed doing something for myself during parental leave. Thanks to the possibility of flexible scheduling, it was doable, but also sometimes challenging in terms of time. But I also liked to get stuck in at night and keep practising and coding :)

I had fun learning the basics of coding and definitely a long way to go! This 3-week workshop helped me think logically, critically and discover where I went wrong along the process and easily resolve them. The lessons were laid out smoothly and gave chance to apply the things learned through each challenge. Helpful references were also shared which are great sources! Loved every second of the SheCodes Basics course. I couldn't write one line of code before I started but the course is really easy to follow and the challenges and homework are fun to complete. Time flies when you're having fun with SheCodes. The 8-week workshop went by super fast and it was an awesome opportunity to develop the skills gained from the Basics workshop even further. The course was very instructive, easy to follow, yet challenging and you could feel those pieces coming together. And realise that there is so much more to learn! Can't wait to start Responsive!

The course was fun!! A bit too basic for me, since I worked with HTML and CSS before. JS was a bit more challenging but not too much. What I loved is that I actually finished this course, which was my main goal! Now I can confidently do other courses and keep learning!! 😊

This was my second workshop with Matt and the SheCodes community. Again, an excellent experience. Whenever I got stuck, there was help. I learned a lot and look forward to the React workshop. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to learn HTML, CSS and JS in a structured and fun manner.
If you're on the fence about taking this course, take the plunge because it is worth it! I really like the approach SheCodes has taken towards teaching. I have tried to learn to code in the past on other websites but the lack of challenges and accountability kept me from completing the course. SheCodes made the learning process fun and allow me a showcase my own creativity. They also provided help at every corner, whereas in other courses students are left to find answers on their own. Furthermore, the affordability of the basics course really helps as it gave me the opportunity to decide if I would enjoy coding. I would highly recommend the basics course to everyone!

The SheCodes Plus workshop was so much fun! I was able to expand my knowledge from the Basics course, whilst learning so much more about JavaScript and API integration. The lessons were clear to follow along with and there were lots of opportunities to personalise my project with my new knowledge. The SheCodes introductory course has been such a great place to start a new hobby. I've been looking to learn something exciting to do in my free time and this has been such a great experience with everything taught step-by-step. It's really fun and also engages different ways of thinking.

This is fun and challenging!🙌 I like the way Matt repeats things and makes you practice. Truth be told, as a total beginner 🥺, I have had to do a lot of extra curricular learning...nothing wrong with that, but it does take time and effort 💪. I did myself no favor in the short run, by switching from MS🖥️ to a Chromebook(Linux)💻, when I started this course, but I have made it this far and am hyped for more.🥳🥳🥳

The required solution submittal after each module really forced me to learn. For some one like me, without a computer science background, the modules were very well explained and presented. Matt made "coding fun" and not intimidating! Jump into your new career and believe in yourself!
highly recommended workshop to start with coding or get to know the basics in coding! i really enjoyed the 3 weeks workshop and will def. think about joining the advance workshop. it really is fun learning how to code, even when you sometimes wonder why your code is not working haha... :-)
I'm once again blown away with the amount of knowledge you can get from this workshops. As a full time student with a full time job it can be difficult to keep the energy levels high enough to have a hobby. But Matt's videos and the challenges keep me interested and motivated. There's is an underlying gamification structure that makes it fun and slightly addictive. At the end of the day I just wished I had more time to code!
It's very challenging and fun for beginners, I will be returning to keep learning to fix this project. And when Matt said keep it simple, you better keep it simple. I made mine so complicated but pretty immediately so it was hard to navigate. It was fun though!

As expected, SheCodes React turned out to be another brilliant workshop, featuring many challenges and amazing support. All the lessons were extremely learner-friendly and the step-by-step videos are easy to follow throughout the weeks with fun and engaging content. I'm quite chuffed with the final result of the two projects I got to code: a weather app and a dictionary app.
This basic training in coding was so much fun! The first week I struggled a bit to keep up with the timing as i'm working full time and well - makes it hard to stare into your screen again for a few hours after work, when the sun is shining :-) But it's worth keeping up with the classes. Once you get it - it's totally doable. Code, save, refresh, test... :-) I'm super happy with what I have learned and expected the result and the skill-set I have now. I'm very much looking forward to enroll in more classes. Thanks guys!

This course was so much fun! The instructions were very clear, the coursework was easy to follow and the deadlines were reasonable. The way the course is structured makes it easy to stay on track.
This was tough! Implementing JavaScript and the APIs to make my weather app functional was very challenging. There were times where I thought about giving up but I would always think about Matt's advice to just step away from the computer. I would take a walk, rest, watch a movie, etc., and then come back to my code with a clear head. I feel so accomplished and I would definitely recommend any of the SheCodes workshops to anyone interested in web development. I can hardly wait to dive into the SheCodes Responsive workshop!

As someone who has touched on the world of basic coding prior to joining, I thought it was an excellent refresher and it further improved my understanding of the fundamentals of code. I was honestly quite terrible at Javascript before this and I have really started to get the hang of it now! I'm sure by continuing the course with @MattDelac, I will be a better coder every step of the way. It truly was a well prepared introductory course and I would recommend anyone to give it a try ☺️

It can be intimidating to begin coding when you have no background knowledge, but I found the setup of this class to be incredibly welcoming and helpful. It is truly flexible to fit into a busy schedule, while also encouraging you to really focus and learn! Matt is also a fun, motivating teacher in the videos. I joined the SheCodes Basics workshop while on maternity leave as I wanted to learn something new besides thinking just about the baby's arrival :) The workshop was a lot of fun. Everything was well-explained and I feel like I have a better grasp of what coding is about.
