It is a very fun workshop that makes the whole learning experience easy, with simple videos and instructions from Matt, as well as very engaging and interactive experience thanks to the little challenges that will build up to allow you to have the skills required to complete the final project!
Such a fun way to explore the coding world! Definitely learned a lot in a short time period and loved every second of it! Can't wait to learn and expand my knowledge even more.

I've had such a fun few weeks! Before I started SheCodes, I felt overwhelmed by the number of free classes available online and I didn't know where to start, what language to learn, how to structure my learning etc. SheCodes has made everything very straight forward and I am really enjoying the process. I particularly loved playing with color palettes on CSS and making my HTML update in response to user interaction using .innerHTML on JavaScript. I can't wait for SheCodes Plus!
This was a fun journey. Very easy to understand and to follow due to Matt being a great teacher and teaching step by step. The team on slack were also a great assistance if I got stuck. Had a great time creating and being challenged. I learned a lot in such a short time and I highly recommend!

I have never before thought about doing coding, until a friend suggested my to check SheCodes. The whole Basic course was great, and the schedule allowed me to keep working alongside with following the lessons! I cannnot wait to start the Plus workshop! With the explanations given plus searching online yourself, you learn a lot. It is a lot of fun and super interesting. Not to forget that the team is GREAT!

SheCodes provides a great opportunity to develop a feeling for the world of coding - compresensive descriptions, personal feedback and support, lessons on demand. It is really fun to test one's own recently learned skills in small challenges and to be able to detect mistakes. SheCodes provides an insight into the WorldWideWeb from the other side of the computer.
Wow, this was definitely more challenging than the intro course, but I had a lot of fun building my weather app project. Matt and his team was super helpful with the whole thing; making the coding experience even better! I am so glad that I took a chance on SheCodes, it made me more confident in my coding abilities 😊
SheCodes is a great coding course that allowing me to learn coding in a clear and fun way. I enjoy the progress and hope that I can keep coding in other platforms or even for some companies or projects in the future.
For the last three years, I have taught second grade in an elementary school setting. During the pandemic, I found a passion for technology and teaching online (unpopular opinion!). I have always loved designing and creating my own resources but had little knowledge on the subject. I realized a couple months ago that I would love to get into the tech world but didn't know where to start. When I attended the free workshop I was blown away by Matt's ability to effectively communicate how to code. I knew I could pick up on it quickly so I joined the course. The last 3 weeks have been so much fun! The course is clear and concise. Matt does a phenomenal job breaking down HTML, CSS and JavaScript into digestible lessons. The challenges really push you and give you a productive struggle. I highly recommend this course!
I would absolutely recommend this course for any beginning or someone who's interested in strengthening their chops! Be forewarned you will have to do a lot of research on your own but I think that's what makes it fun and really helps you learn. Be Brave!

What a fun adventure this has been! I 100% recommend it to all the curious women out there, this is the opportunity to get out of our comfort zones, to understand how much potential we have, to get that feeling of accomplishment, of creating something with our own hands. SheCodes Plus was so much fun and it felt amazing to create something that I can actually use everyday! The workshop felt challenging as I worked through the weeks, but it was so exciting to get to the final project and really prove to myself how much I learned over the weeks. SheCodes is a great place for anybody who are beginners to the world of coding. There is amazing support from everybody which makes the learning process so much fun and motivating.
I was hesitant to take the course because it was during my vacation and I was worried that the assignments would feel too much like "work". This was definitely not the case and working on the challenges quickly became addictive and fun. This course is really great for beginners and I hope I can take more in the future.
The final project really pushed my limits and I found myself having some much fun exploring new ways to code. I especially loved the bonus challenges as it really made me think for a creative way to code my project. There's not one way to do a certain thing and that's really awesome! I really appreciate the videos from the instructor as well, it helped in case I missed something or there was a more constrcutive way to code my idea.
I've been needing a good introduction to HTML, CSS and the like and here I've finally found one! It's slow enough that you have time to soak things up, without being so slow that you get bored with it. Plus it's just fun!
Sometimes it was challenging, sometimes it was hard but it always was fun.

SheCodes is a simple and accessible introduction to coding! I don't think I really want a career in coding but I love learning new skills and understanding how things work. I loved this workshop as much as the previous ones, if not more. I just opened my own website for the first time on my phone and I am so proud of what I was able to achieve. I am so glad that every little mechanism and/or functionality of coding a website, making it responsive, etc. is explained on its own. And that SheCodes offers little challenges along the way, helps enormously with my kind of learning. Very recommendable to try this course!!
This was by far my favorite course! It was so much fun and was filled with information. Matt is an excellent instructor. The methods are easy to understand and it's broken down in easy to follow sections. Love that you can work at your own pace.

I signed up for SheCodes to explore the possibility of pursuing coding as a career. The lesson plans and assignments are very organized and asking for help is simple. I learned pretty quick and found the homework assignments to be fun. I am glad I started the beginners coding course to further my knowledge in the near future!
I really enjoyed SheCodes' lessons and challenges and the friendly community. Matt and the SheCodes team are great at helping and supporting you when you need it. I felt that the challenges were fun and the basic course is just enough to pique your interest if you would like to learn more. Even with the basic course, I felt like I was learning a lot while still being challenged.

Wow! What a fun challenge! As a graphic designer, it can feel particularly thrilling inserting codes into my design and watching it become functional. JavaScript can be frustrating at times, like solving a logical puzzle. I really enjoyed this course and I’m so excited to be able to put new skills on my resume and expand my career path.

I have started the course a week and a half ago and now I have already finished the first website and it is about my little Shiba dog 🥰 I loved the workshop very much! 😍 It was a lot of fun to study here with Matt Delac. I have finally completed the React course of SheCodes. It's a lot of hard work, but it's also very fun (personally I enjoyed the React course WAY more than the SheCodes Plus course)! I was motivated with seeing my progress in real-time, and as always Matt's instruction is remarkable and easy to understand and follow. The rest of the SheCodes team is very helpful in answering questions as well. I love the fact that we can review course materials and videos as many times as we want, and that we have lifetime access to our completed course workshops! I'm definitely going to review and refer back to what I learned in my React course throughout my ongoing coding journey. I have learned so, so much. With SheCodes, I was able to learn to code from literally no experience at all, all the way to being comfortable with JavaScript React. I encourage any and all women interested in learning how to code to learn with SheCodes. I look forward to everything SheCodes has to offer in the future, and in the meantime I will get to work on my own projects independently now. Thank you so much for everything!

It was a lot of fun, although of course there were also challenges and moments of doubt. I absolutely recommend it to anyone, even if they haven't seen themselves in this sector before.
This was very fun and informative experience for me, I started having interest in coding after attending the free workshop but wasn't sure if I would've been able to like it. at the end of the basic workshop I can say that I loved it and I have learned a lot from SheCodes. Will definitely be enrolling for the further harder workshops.

This SheCodes course gave me an excellent overview and introduction to the coding and tech world. Processes and practices are very well covered. I loved the motivational and positive atmosphere of the course environment. Really empowering! I needed a lot of time outside the course to research certain Java Script functionalities to really get it. There are probably better courses to learn Java Script but for me, it provided what I expected.
This workshop was so fun and interesting! I learnt so much and it kept me so motivated. Every time I finished a lesson I couldn't wait to continue and learn more! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to code. I'll start SheCodes Plus immediately!!

My interest in programming came last year in the midst of this madness that we have been experiencing lately. While coding is a challenge, it's also a lot of fun to learn. Plus, SheCodes puts you in touch with hundreds of women around the world and that's really cool, it motivates you to stay on the programming path. So, Let's to SheCodes plus! :D
I am always excited for the weekend so I can continue doing the workshop. If only it wasn't for my day job I would've finished the 3-week workshop in less than a week, not only because I find the challenges fun but also because of Matt's enthusiasm. I may have had a background in programming already but I still learned a lot of the basics. Looking forward to the other workshops! 💪

Well, this was fun! The creative side in me absolutely loved getting into designing and building my own website with SheCodes Responsive. In this course we learn the details of the whole process of developing a website, from Search Engine Optimization, to multiple page hosting, Media Queries or Boostrsap to make your site responsive, so it is usable from all mobile devices. Wether it was me personally, or the whole process of learning and evolving taking place, this course went more smoothly, with rarely any bumps on the way. I really enjoyed it and i cant wait to get onto the last one, React!

The Shecodes Basic Workshop was super fun and very thorough considering the actual lecture-videos with Matt are not that long. I did end up spending more than 5 hrs a week, but the challenges were engaging so I tended to end up playing around a lot.
The Basic Workshop was a great introduction into the HTML, CSS & JS world. The instructions were clear and it was fun to work on the challenges and the homeworks. I would recommend it! ☺️

I've always felt the need to learn how to code and being a graphic designer people ask for that skill, but it seems too complicated. This course has helped me go step by step and I'm having a lot of fun.
