Fantastic class to learn the most important fundamentals of HTML/CSS/Javascript. Matt's explanations are concise while allowing you to understand the why behind the coding. Great beginner class for people looking to get into coding but not sure where to start, as well as a great bridging course for those getting into CompSci! I feel way more confident entering my Masters of Compsci!
I had so much fun learning something new, and it's so satisfying when it all comes together!
The SheCodes Plus course was a lot more interesting (and challenging!) than the basics course and I feel like I have learnt a lot! As always, Matt's teaching style is really nice to follow and going deeper into java script was fun and rewarding!
I had a lot of fun doing the SheCodes basic course. I'm very proud of how much I learnt and what I can now do. It's a great way to dip your toe into the coding world and learn at your own pace.
The SheCodes Basic course was the perfect way to get an introduction into coding without being overwhelmed with a new technical jargon.Whilst I am not currently thinking about a career in coding, I think digital skills is crucial in today's workplace. SheCodes Basic gave me exactly what I was looking for with all the right support networks and channels. True to many other testimonials, this course was actually fun!
Thoroughly enjoying this course so far. It is a lot of fun, and I love that I can learn around my full time job. Lessons are informative and effective although can be a little tricky to get my head around JavaScript at times but I guess it is to be expected! Looking forward the next few weeks of learning!
I'm so proud of completing this course, and had so much fun doing it! It was one of the hardest things I've done, but I have gained so much from it, like a new skill and critical thinking and I know this will benefit me in my life ahead! Highly recommend!

Learning the basics of coding from SheCodes has been so easy and fun. I have really enjoyed getting to grips with each lesson and being able to produce something out of every one of them afterwards! It has really made me look forward to learning a lot more about coding.
Workshop Plus was more difficult than Basics, but I still had so much fun and learned a lot! It was very helpful watching Matt build an application from the scratch. Highly recommend for anybody who completed Basics to right jump into Plus to learn more! I'm excited to start working on Responsive next!
I really loved the SheCodes Plus course!! Definetely more challenging than the Basic Course and this is where things start to get (really) serious but also more fun :) you will learn more usefull knowledge and have the feeling you are really starting to code profissionally, so greatly recommend to continue this path after the first course and jump right to SheCodes Plus! You won't regret it :D
Like many others, I started off knowing nothing about coding. The Basics course was thorough, informative and challenging (in a really fun way). It's not often that I feel a buzz when something isn't working on my computer, but when it was part of the exercises or my project, I really enjoyed it. Matt's lessons are detailed yet concise - great for learning something new with lots of rules. It wasn't long before things clicked in my head and I was able to problem-solve my own errors. My time on this course was well spent, and I only question why I didn't try it sooner.
The course continues to be challenging but fun. The format of the course makes it easy to consolidate your learning at each stage. I'm really looking forward to starting SheCodes React course soon!
Really enjoyed completing SheCodesPlus and can't believe how much I've learnt in a short space of time! It was a big step up from SheCodes Basics but once you get the hang of Javascript, it's really fun to work through the steps. Can't wait to start the next workshop and carry on learning!
Hi guys, I had three phenomenal weeks of getting to tap into the coding world. Everyone was super helpful when I got stuck. I learned so much and had lots of fun recreating and creating websites. Thank you very much!!!
This was really fun! It's a great feeling to be able to actually build a wireframe you created, and it being fully functional. People in my environment probably got tired of the "Look! I made this!" exclamations after a while, especially since I proudly showcased every new feature.
This last part was really challenging. The best advice I can give you is to take it one step at a time, take deep breaths and take your time. This whole process has been a fun learning journey, I am excited but nervous to get out in the world of coding but I feel very prepared to do so. The team is wonderful and has been encouraging and helpful throughout the whole process!! I had to push myself to get through the whole process but I am so glad I did and I think you will be too!!!

Fun way to learn the basics of coding if you are a busy working professional. I really enjoyed the classes, and I am actually considering taking the next step to level up my skills in coding.

100% recommend! Besides some Python courses during my studies in Business Administration, I had nearly no experience in Coding. However, for the SheCodes Basics, no prior knowledge was requested. Both, explanations and the course structure were clear. I finished the course in 1,5 weeks as opposed to 3 weeks. However, I found that the first week of classes took significantly longer as it had more classes and challenges as opposed to the second week. The third week is primarily concerned with the creation of a personal project which was a lot of fun. Additionally, the community is amazing and so helpful when one is stuck with one of the challenges. Even if you are not looking for a job in tech I would highly recommend this course as part of building fundamentals and self-esteem. I will be looking into additional courses.

I highly recommend it! I learned so much by following the steps in sequence on how to create a basic website. It was so much fun to watch and learn. Everything makes sense to me by watching Matt in the videos. I admit that I had some difficulty in grasping the programming concepts when I took a programming course many years ago. Now, I finally got it after watching and following Matt. And yet, I am surprised that I still remember it like yesterday.
This was such a fun class! I thoroughly enjoyed taking this course and learning more about coding. As an instructional designer, I've been dabbling with HTML, but this was more a formal introduction, which I needed. Thank you, SheCodes!

When I joined SheCodes, I was afraid not to have time to do the work due to me going to work; the SheCodes structure is self-paced which give you time to do it as fast as you wish. the SheCodes structure, the nice student and teacher willing to help you anytime. it made it so easy and fun to learn.

This was the best decision I’ve ever taken!!! I had joined SheCodes Basics because a friend recommended me to try out coding and turns out I fell in love with it. This course was incredibly easy to follow and I am impressed with what I am able to do and understand in just a couple of weeks. Coding is quite enjoyable and although it can get a little frustrating when you're stuck, I still find it to be relaxing. It's like a fun puzzle & patience is the key! I look forward to practicing & continuing to learn with these courses in the near future!
I have zero background in coding and this was so much fun for me. I remember hating the one class I took in college and retained nothing from it. This is nothing like that! Highly recommend it & the help is pretty fast for when you do get stuck.

After completing SheCodes Basics, I decided to upgrade to Plus. It hasn't been easy at times, but Matt is a very good teacher. I learned a lot and could always count on using Slack to ask questions and see what other students were doing. Overall, this was a fun experience and I can't wait to start the next workshop!

I've enjoyed every minute of this course. I can't believe a few months ago I literally knew nothing about coding and now I've built a fully functioning weather app. I'm so grateful to SheCodes and to Matt who have built such an inclusive and encouraging course.
I've had a great time learning React over the last few weeks on the Pro course! Rebuilding my weather app and creating a brand new dictionary app has been really interesting and fun. As always Matt is a fantastic teacher.

It has been an exciting two weeks for me. I've been trying to do this on my own for a long time now but SheCodes has made coding easy and fun for me. Matt Delac is very good at explaining complex concepts, and I can't wait to advance further with the React-class. I particularly appreciate that the workshops are based around specific projects, because it makes it easier understand how we can apply what we've learnt "in real life". This responsive course was so much fun! I got so excited on the first week that I started designing my own website and I'm happy to have finally coded it into what is going to be my presentation card to start showcasing my work. This workshop was very challenging, but a lot of fun. Making websites more responsive requires a lot of patience and several rounds of testing. I really enjoyed all the lessons and challenges and I can't believe how much I learned in a few weeks. I really recommend SheCodes!
I am so thankful I came across SheCodes. I had tried another expensive beginner coding course but was completely overwhelmed as a coding newbie. Matt teaches you the fundamentals in such an organized and fun way that I was really able to comprehend what I was learning. I was really impressed on how Matt breaks down each lesson and demonstrates how to implement the code in a video. The lesson challenges following the demonstration really helps with your comprehension and ultimately sticks in your head. Matt is really great about giving you tips and tricks to find more information on your own as well but ultimately what he teaches is great for an intro course. Matt definitely gave me the confidence to continue my coding journey with SheCodes. I highly recommend this course even if you have never coded before!
SheCodes Basic has been such a fun experience! This has been an excellent introduction to the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Even though I thought I knew how to use HTML and CSS, this course taught me a lot I hadn't even thought of, and the Javascript was an excellent addition.
It was a great experience with a great learning effect! I had so much fun going through the fundamentals. I'm interested to build upon my knowledge and I would be looking into continuing this. Support was also great via slacks. Overall, I am happy that I made the first step. Thank you 🤗

This was so much fun! I thoroughly enjoyed this course - it was clear and concise, with an appropriate level of challenge. I love SheCodes workshop!!! This was fun and easy way to learn coding. I learned a little bit when I took web design class in college but, it was difficult to understand. Taking this workshop, watching the videos, doing the challenges, and homework made it help. I recommend anyone to take this workshop. I had a lot of fun completing this course! I had a few weeks in summer where I didn't have much to do and this was the perfect way to spend my free time! It was cool to see how I could actually use what was taught during the 3 weeks while doing the final project and understand why things didn't work sometimes. I plan to take the next course when I have some more free time in the future!

This course was *so much fun*! Challenging at times, sure, but never too much so because I knew that if I ever needed it, help was just a simple click away. Matt's videos were helpful and fun and the Slack community would respond to any question I had, no matter how stupid it was, within a couple of hours. I really recommend this course to anyone who wants to get into coding. It's so rewarding to see your final project functioning as it's meant to!

I find it amazing the difference that 8 weeks of learning can make. SheCodes structured this course in a way that helped me solidify the skills that I had developed in the Basics course, and simultaneously gain new ones. I was able to go from building my first landing page to a fully functional weather app in just a few weeks! It gave me the opportunity to stimulate both creative and logical sides of my brain as a student of Graphic Design, so I'm looking forward to seeing how much more I'll grow in my next course!!
SheCodes Plus was a bit more challenging than SheCodes Basic, especially with three heat waves and a toddler at home. 😅 In the end, I needed all three extensions… But it was also incredibly rewarding! I learned a lot and it is so much fun to master all those little challenges that come up during coding. When I finally submitted the weather app I had built (the final project), I couldn‘t help but feeling proud of what I had created and of how far I have come since I started my coding journey. Now I'm excited to start the next workshop and learn how to make sites responsive!😁
Thoroughly enjoyed this course and the way it empowered me to not only build and tweak and find solutions to improve my own code, but also understand the backend of any code via developer tools. I'm already finding that it's uplifted my skills at work and it's been so fun learning a new and very relevant skill!

What an incredible class. I went into this course thinking it would be impossible to learn how to code by following online classes. I was definitely wrong.
