I thoroughly enjoyed the entire SheCodes Basics workshop. I had some prior experience with coding before the workshop, but the way this was taught here was fantastic! I learned new things and the lessons rejuvenated my love for coding. JavaScript was actually fun in this workshop and I didn't think that was possible. I highly recommend this workshop to women who want to learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript but don't know where to start. I can't wait to start the next SheCodes workshop!
I struggled when it came to learning programming languages before I found SheCodes. Matt makes learning so much fun and I'm always looking forward to my SheCodes challenges! I love being able to put what I've learned into a tangible project and watch myself grow through the lessons. The support and guidance through SheCodes Plus has been great and I am looking forward to the React course next!

I am impressed on how easy I absorb the contents! With no previous idea on these languages, I got the basis and now I feel I have the fundamentals to start exploring their usages. The way each module is introduced is like a game with its challenges, so you learn as a child, best way to get the knowledge!

In 3 weeks I learned the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript which could be very helpful for my current job. Not once had I the feeling that I did not want to start on my weekly assignment for SheCodes. They really made it fun and easy to learn with short assignments and lots of hands-on experience!

Matt is an amazing teacher and the SheCodes team is incredible - they're patient and explain everything you might not understand or need to make your code function as it should. It has been a challenge, but also a wonderfully rewarding experience. In just a matter of a few weeks, I came from not having any idea about how an app would work to building one myself! I can't recommend this course enough.

I actually have to use HTML, CSS and Javascript for work and I found that Weeks 1 and 2 were super helpful in getting across the fundamentals. Week 3 was putting everything into practice. Matt is super clear and really breaks down the principles in bite size chunks. I also really liked that I could do it at my own pace. Thanks SheCodes!

I've had really good time learning new coding skills on SheCodes Basics! 💜 Coding is explained step by step in every lesson. I thought that it is something very difficult, but well it's not! It's a lot of fun actually and especially when your code works at the website! 😍 I am gonna join the rest of the workshops, can't wait! 😊
Easy to follow, fun to see a blank code sheet turn into an app that works. The trickiest part is was the words one wrong spelling can crash the whole thing. The teachers are very helpful as well.
This course is very useful and easy to understand! A lot of homework with deadlines motivates practicing new material. Being challenging but inspiring, it helped me to get things clear and persuaded me that coding can be fun 😄👍
Another exciting and fun workshop with SheCodes that I'm really gonna miss!
I had lots of fun during this workshop! The language was clear and the friendly tone of Matt helped a lot to stay encouraged. The exercises along the steps helped me to consolidate the lessons and I also found that the workload is adequate for the basic level in question. Entirely fitted for understanding if this is something you'd like to pursue as a career and for sure I'll try to ingress in the next levels in the future.

I'll be honest: I was intimidated by the idea of learning to code for quite some time. I thought that because I am a clinician and work in healthcare, there would be no way that this would click with my background and skills. However, I was super surprised by how much fun I had doing this course! All of the lessons were very easy to absorb without feeling overwhelmed, and I loved that there were so many different ways for me to go back and review different concepts if I was stuck (e.g., videos, examples/models, support from staff, Slack). If any other women in my life ask about where to start with coding, I will be sure to refer them here.
This was a great introductory course! When I decided that I wanted to learn web development I was so overwhelmed and didn't know where to start. This course made it so manageable and fun! I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to dip their toe into the world of coding. I'm looking forward to taking more courses through SheCodes.

Loved every bit of it, no matter how many times I was staring at my screen thinking "Why is this not working?" just to realize that I have misplaced a ";" or other symbol, so yeah it is the little details that counts the most. Thankfully with all the support I got, I managed to get my projects up and running. Making mistakes was the best thing ever, for I realized that sometimes all you need to do is read your code and do some research, the answer is most of the time hidden in plain sight. If you have any second thoughts" don`t", it`s an amazing journey that might lead you to a different career path, or just have fun with coding. Looking forward for other workshops. Thank you SheCodes community, for making this happen.
SheCodes is an amazing! I've learned so much about coding, which is something I never thought I'd do. My weather app project was challenging, but a lot of fun and the SheCodes team was very supportive through the whole process. Creating a working product feels like such a big victory. I started with SheCodes Basics but then I had so much fun that I decided to continue with SheCodes Plus and React. I think this workshop was fun and challenging! You definitely need to organize and plan what you want to develop in order to get good results and save time. However, these results take time, persistence, and learning/researching constantly. If you get stuck, take breaks or do more research. Don't be afraid to ask for help in Slack and remember that this is just the beginning of a front-end developer's journey.

Just finished SheCodes Basics and I'm super excited! It's way different from what I've experienced at university. Here, it's all about practical stuff rather than just theory. I learned more here than I did in three years at university! Matt makes even the complex things seem simple. Plus, the community is super supportive. I'm enrolling in the next SheCodes Plus workshop for sure. If you want to learn coding in a fun, hands-on way, you've gotta try SheCodes. It's a game changer.

SheCodes Foundation is simply the best platform for beginners to build knowledge and skills on coding from the scratch. The programs and schedules are very easy and flexible to work with. The instructor (Mr. Matt Delac) is a seasoned teacher. He doesn't just tell you what to do but also why you have to do it some certain way. This was tough especially being hard of hearing and able to have access to subtitle to the video (Thanks to Google Chrome setting)! I enjoyed this so far just wish it was a little more structure but I do hope the next workshop will be little more fun to go on. But overall, I enjoyed this opportunity to gain my skillset in the tech industry now.

I have to say that when I started this course I had no idea all the things we could do by coding. I understand this is just the beginning, but I'm quite surprised how much I'd enjoyed this course. Now every time I'm on a different website I analyze everything and understand a little bit more about how they are built which is fun!

Learning to make your code "responsive" I believe is the funniest part of coding. I like to stretch and release things so they can become dynamic. This is what I enjoy the most in every field: make things readable, "barrier-free", usable. And This course has been perfect aligned to my needs!
Ok now this was exciting, challenging and confidence boosting at the same time. Its never easy learning a new skill but i genuinely had so much fun learning with this workshop. Also how the team is always there to help whenever i got confused or lost is so amazing to me.I see computers and technology in whole new different perspective now, not to be dramatic but i feel like i finally found what i love. I can't wait to learn more with Shecodes 😃
I really enjoyed these 3 weeks with SheCodes workshops. I think it was very beneficial to have the challenges for me to be able to apply what I had just learnt. It was challenging and yet fun. Hopefully, I will be doing some of the more advanced SheCodes workshops soon

To be honest I never thought I would be interested in coding or anything similar, but I heard about SheCodes, tried the free class and there was a little spark! Like most people I compared coding to chinese, something very very hard and too complex. But the truth is SheCodes made it a lot simpler and fun to learn! I am just only starting, nothing too complex yet, but still, I feel really proud of what I have accomplished so far!

With other courses I had a hard time understanding the basics of coding frankly it scare me until SheCodes and it was so much fun , lessons are short and clear and the best part was if i did not understand well i could play the video again and again! I still can't believe I got to this point! I feel so empowered! Up until a few months ago, I didn't even think I could learn how to code and now I am happily coding away!
