I had a lot of fun, and feeling very accomplished now that I am submitting my final project. The workshop is structured and taught so well. Once it starts making sense, it is really hard to stop. Looking forward to the next lessons.

This workshop was quite fun! It was so cool to start from an empty canvas and end up with a fully functioning weather app. Seeing it change every week was the best! Eventough the workshop is fully online, the homework deadlines really help you stay on track. And when facing any problem there is lots of fast support from everyone on Slack (and also Dr. Google 😂). This course is great to learn more about JavaScript and more advanced HTML and CSS. It had a fun project to make your own weather application (working with real data!). I would recommend this course!

Responsive was my third workshop with SheCodes and was a perfect follow-up to SheCodes Plus. The final project was a lot of fun to work on and will be very useful in the future. Now onto the React workshop!

This might sound super old school, but back before we had Facebook, back in the late 90's, there was a social media network called "Asian Avenue", this was where I first learn how HTML. However, as the years gone by that platform went away and I ended up getting a master degree in Accounting in 2017. During the last few years, we have been in quarantine, and I wanted to learn something new. I thought to myself, "Why not get back into learning HTML and coding". I found SheCodes, and I really enjoy it, especially how easy the videos were to follow and understand. As I continue to do these challenges and projects, I have been rethinking where I wanted to go with my career. This has opened a new chapter in my life, and I think I may want to explore more technical roles and perhaps use my accounting skills on the way. I am very happy I took the time to get back into this! Thank you SheCodes for making this such a fun learning experience!
This was my favorite online class! I created a website to showcase my work. The tutorials were easy to follow, and the homework was super fun!
I started this workshop with zero code knowledge, and I can't believe how much I learned in these three weeks. The instructions were very clear and super easy to learn. It's great that you can organise your time to complete lessons and challenges. It was all new for me, but it was super fun. I advise everyone to do it, you will not regret it.

Love that Matt walks you logically through each step of the coding fundamentals. It's super beginner-friendly and the challenges that follow each exercise help to put to practice what you learn. The SheCodes team is amazing and very prompt in answering general questions about the workshop as well as troubleshooting when you get stuck (which you inevitably will, but that's all part of the coding process!).
I started my career in the tech industry two years ago, and since day 1 I’ve had the benefit of meeting and interacting with many talented and inspiring developers. Their passion and enthusiasm for coding is what ultimately motivated me to challenge myself and pursue this course as I’ve been wanting to learn and understand coding for many years. The SheCodes Basics Workshop has been an insightful, challenging and joyful learning experience and one of my personal highlights this year. The lessons are like puzzles, with some trickier than others, but all of them really put your logic and creativity to the test in a fun and challenging way. This was such a fun course, although the java script weeks earlier on were a huge learning curve, it's amazing to see how far you come at the end. I had 0 knowledge about coding, but i was very curious to learn it. I did not know where to start and SheCodes was the perfect opportunity. It was so much fun and it was easy to lear the content. I really enjoyed this part of the course. It was challenging and overwhelming, but really fun thanks to Matt, who made every new concept more approachable to every woman new in programming. Being able to see how much have I grown as a frontend developer from the very first day of the SheCodes journey, gives me the confidence I need to pursue a new career in Software Engineering.

After stumbling across this coding workshop by accident, I've fallen in love with Coding. I'm currently studying Marketing at the Fashion Institute of Technology, however, this workshop was so fun that I will be transferring to Web Development completely. I highly recommend these classes. SheCodes Plus was definitely more challenging than Basic. I learned a lot and I am proud of what I have created! I am not a designer by any means but happy I was able to code a functional app. There is a lot more that goes into creating even the most basic elements than I thought. I have lots to learn.
I loved SheCodes Plus. I learned so much. Working on the weather app project was fun and challening at the same time and I really injoyed it. As I am all about logic, Javascript is made for me, as it seems. I can't wait to dive deeper into the world of coding. Bring it on! :)

When I first started the course I did not know what to expect, But WOW it was the best decision I ever made, I always thought that coding was hard or complicated I now Know that is Not at all the case. Even though it's taken me a long time to complete this workshop (in between my uni studies) I thoroughly enjoyed it! This workshop has helped me gain greater knowledge and understanding in the coding that I am able to use for my computer science degree. Everything that Matt explains is easy to understand. This was a fun workshop to complete and I can not wait to start the next one.
Third workshop, and I am still hungry to learn! SheCodes Workshops are still the best investment in my year 2021. The process is so much fun and the learning is definitely useful in my current work.

I have had so much fun for the past 3 weeks with SheCodes Basics! I can't believe how much I have learned in just 3 weeks. I have been working as an IT Service Desk Analyst for 10 years and I was desperately looking for something better. I have been working closely with our development team for the past 2 years. At first, I was so intimidated sitting in their meetings because I didn't understand a thing and I thought you had to be some kind of genius to do that kind of work. Then slowly I began to understand what they were talking about and became familiar with some of the lingo. I started wondering if I could do it too. I tried two other learning programs online and became frustrated and felt defeated. Then I saw an advertisement on a YouTube video for SheCodes and decided to check it out. I'm so glad I did! After watching the free introductory class I knew this was it for me and it would change my life. I signed up for all of the workshops and I can't wait to start SheCodes Plus! The short video lessons are the perfect way for me to learn and I love the challenges, homework, and deadlines! I need structure to keep me on track. Matt is a wonderful teacher who explains things in the simplest terms and in a way that everyone can understand. Thank you, Matt and the SheCodes team! I am looking forward to the rest of my journey!
