SheCodes is an amazing and easy way to learn to code (and fun!). I loved how it is self paced and how Matt is very thorough in the learning videos. I look forward to learning more in the other workshops!
I found SheCodes at a perfect time in my life: while I was between jobs and thinking I should add to my skill set as a graphic designer. SheCodes has an amazing community, fun interface, and great instructor! The courses get right to the point, and I feel I'm learning the most current and necessary information, fast. Most importantly, I feel very connected with this course and learning style. Everything is straightforward and organized, and the overall experience has been fun!

Learning more about coding is something I've been interested in for some time now. I'm so glad I came across SheCodes and decided to try it! The course was fun, challenging, and informative. I would definitely recommend this for beginning coders!
I took SheCodes Plus immediately after the Basic course. And it was a smooth next-level. Again, Matt has been a great guide through the labyrinth of code and its creation logic. All his tips and guidelines prove to be 100% correct - it pays off to be patient, test own code constantly and stop for a while if you hit the wall. Seeing the final app, maybe not the most beautiful by design, but fully functional makes me proud. I did program it myself and I want more!! :)
I love learning new things and discovering how things 'work'. Coding has been on my to 'explore' list for a very long time, but I didn't know where to start. Most online courses seem to assume you have some kind of background in coding, and I didn't want to spend a small fortune or the time commitment required to attend a formal coding bootcamp, in case I didn't enjoy coding after all. I'm so glad I came across the SheCodes add on Instagram. In SheCodes Basics, Matt teaches the very basic fundamentals of coding, and slowly builds from there. He doesn't assume you know what he's talking about but takes the time to explain the concepts with lots of examples. I can't wait to continue learning and building on the knowledge and skills I've acquired from this course.

What exciting couple of weeks continuing my SheCodes journey and completing the SheCodes Plus workshop! 😃 Learning how to use Bootstrap for structuring and changing the layout of webpages in an easier way, Git & GitHub for version control and Netlify for hosting webpages. I enjoyed the step-by-step process of building my own fully functional weather application, leaning how to use APIs and designing it the way I liked. Once again thank you Matt and team for the awesome workshop from which I learned lots! I would highly recommended the SheCodes Plus workshop for anyone who would like to learn more about Front-End Development. I am looking forward to continuing with the SheCodes Responsive workshop! 😃
Before starting this workshop,I had some html/css/java knowledge. Following the basics workshop helped me to bring structure to what I already knew. I had quite some fun following it and working on the homeworks and more specifically on the final project!

The Introduction to Coding was fun and challenging. With no prior knowledge of coding, I learned a lot in the last three weeks. I am definitely looking forward to learning more in the SheCodes Plus program.

This is definitely a fun and pleasant workshop to attend as an introduction to coding. I wanted to know just a bit more on how coding works to relate to the day to day programs I am using at work, SheCodes definitely delivered on that. It is really easy to understand and follow, the materials provided were fantastic! 😊
I really loved the 3 weeks spent on the Basics course! It was well paced and Matt was a great teacher. He broke down the concepts into digestible short videos that were easy to follow. The challenges allows us to apply what was learnt immediately after which helps to consolidate the learning as well as address any misunderstandings of how the function works! The team was really prompt with queries and were super friendly which makes it a very welcoming learning environment:)
I've been wanting to learn coding for so long and I am glad I started with SheCodes. To me it is vital to be able to learn in my own pace and SheCodes is perfect for that. I came across a SheCodes ad during the first COVID-19 lockdown in Austria. I remember thinking at the time: "hey, why not?". One year later, I finally registered to the Basic SheCodes Workshop and I did not regret it. I thought the workshop was fun, highly interesting, challenging enough and well balanced. This was a very fun experience. The course was structured in a clear and understandable format. I thoroughly enjoyed each lesson as it was very interactive.
The course was pretty easy to follow. Learnt lots of new and interesting things. It was super fun and challenging to build a page from scratch, adding new features one by one and watching the page come to live with each commit was so exciting! (:

An absolutely great workshop with so many new things to learn! It was really cool to find out what API is and even more so to use it in order to build a functioning and practical application. I found coding quite rewarding because you get to see the progress you are making especially once you managed to detect and correct a faulty code. I cannot recommend enough learning to code just so to get a glimpse of how a part of the internet works.

I had some minor understanding of HTML from computer classes. SheCodes helped me gain an understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. I really liked how the courses were set up with videos and assignments that corresponded with the new material being taught. It was fun but also challenging! I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone looking to learn how to get a better understanding of these coding programs.

The format of the course makes it really easy to manage and play out each lesson. Yet Matt doesn't always disclose everything you need to know, prompting you to think and learn to find solutions. This course is fun, creative and has opened a world of future possibilities.
SheCodes Basics lessons are beginner-friendly, few are challenging yet exciting, fun and has served as my creativity outlet. It is also flexible which goes well with my workhours. Moreover, I also like that there is a support system in the form of the Slack app. Definitely will recommend this!
Each lesson is pack of essential infos and the videos are very clear, straight forward, and easy to follow. Each week's project is fun, I really enjoyed each project and learned a lot from SheCodes.com workshops. I am looking forward to continue taking more workshops from Shecodes, This is much more fun and practical than most of my high school classes.

The Basic Workshop is worth EVERYONE trying! The price is fair and learning HTML, CSS, and JS can be helpful for anyone in any industry. The lessons are fun and interactive, and it's not as challenging as you may think. I had no issues staying on track while also working. It was well worth every penny and I can't wait to try more workshops!

SheCodes Responsive is more relaxing than SheCodes Plus. Full of fun, colorful and little bit frustration. Responsive is not easy that much but enjoyable. After finishing SheCodes Responsive, anyone can be feel much more confident and trust own self. I think, these two things are very important to move on and for next step. Thank you SheCodes.🤗

Honestly, I expected myself not to be interested in this workshop, even though I signed myself up. Starting Week 1, I was hooked. I love completing the challenges and going step by step with suggested solutions. I had so much fun and helped me set my decision on my computer science major for school.

Above and beyond 🚀! This course exceeded, once again, all my expectations, the videos were clear and the help from the SheCodes team was fast and professional whenever I got stuck with my code. I didn't know anything about React before I began this course and I was very doubtful if this is something I could learn. Now, after building 2 functioning react apps, those doubts are gone 👋 I'm really going to miss my weekly SheCodes routine but that doesn't mean that coding ends here - now I'm fully capable to start applying my knowledge in my own projects! The course was great and I was amazed at what I achieved in just a few weeks. I liked the combination of tutorials followed by challenges; being able to put the information to practical use was important to me because I learn best by doing. And best of all, I had fun doing it!
Not only did the videos help me learn how to build a basic website from scratch, but the fun weekly tasks kept me motivated to move forward each week !

I have attended the classroom workshop for SheCodes Basic back in 2019 (Lisbon) and before starting SheCodes Plus had doubts about it being online but enjoyed it as much as the classroom one. It was an (really!) intense 8 weeks, long nights, so much to learn, apply and submit but at the same time had great fun and enjoyed it a lot. This was a great course. It helped me get a better understanding of JavaScript fundamentals that I previously knew but wasn't confident on how to apply them to project.
This workshop has allowed me to deepen my knowledge in coding with well structured tutorials and practical challenges. The final project of building a basic weather widget from scratch was the result of combining advanced HTML, CSS, JavaScript and different coding tools in a challenging but fun way.
