Learning React the fun way :)
I have been wanting to learn coding for a while not but had no idea where to start. I was pretty nervous when I started because I had no prior knowledge about coding but SheCodes made the process very easy. They give you everything you need and Matt is a great teacher. I am having fun learning with SheCodes!
SheCodes responsive was challenging but fun. I learned many ways to edit my website and make it responsive on different devices. I look forward to the next workshop and learning more.
I chose this workshop so that I could introduce myself to coding before committing to a longer or more expensive course. The lessons were easy to follow and the challenges and homework were fun. I'm looking forward to expanding on what I have learned here.
SheCodes was super fun and accessible. With the basics course I gained new skills and felt equipped to build my skills further even after the course. I cannot wait to grow further in my coding skills.
SheCodes is a great online platform for learning coding. There is no prior coding knowledge required for this SheCodes Basics program. It was a fun learning journey. The curriculum is well designed and very supportive staffs to help you throughout the process.
I wish I had more time! Being very busy I took advantage of the Christmas vacation and I had a lot of FUN by learning this! The support is awesome but you probably won't need it! The video lessons are so clear that you probably won't need any support at all!
I have really enjoyed these last three weeks giving it a go at coding. I found it fun and interesting, a perfect combination of creativity, following rules and at the same time feeling like doing some scientific/nerdy work. I am intrigued to learn more and possibly/hopefully to change my career path! 😊
This workshop was easy to follow and helped me understand everything. Now I feel like I've only begun and I am eager to learn even more. The challenges were helpful to recap the information and the homework was always doable and I found coding really fun!

This has been amazing! I had previously tried to learn some programming languages but most information didn't stick. Throughout this workshop, I gained more confidence while having fun with the tasks. The course is very well-structured with tutorials that are very easy to understand, followed by homework that helps solidify this theory and put it into practice. By the end of it, I feel like I've acquired useful new skills that I can't wait to improve on.
These last few weeks were full of challenges and fun! I am impressed by how quickly this course taught me so many new coding skills and I really hope to further develop them in the workshops to come. SheCodes is truly an amazing platform for women to learn coding and I am very thankful to be part of this community!

To be very honest, I did not believe in myself at the beginning. I thought that coding is only for the IT guys who have studied it for years. But I gave it a shot anyways! After each class I stared to gain more confidence and I discovered that it actually might be something that I want to do in the future. It's actually a lot of fun! I am very glad I have tried and I truly believe that one day I will start working in this industry.

Honestly, one of the best decisions I have ever made was to start coding! I've started from scratch and always imagined it as something really complicated but thanks to SheCodes I don’t feel like that at all! The course is very well prepared, straightforward and fun! As someone who just got into programming, I tend to have a hard time keeping myself in check when learning something new outside of school. Through SheCodes, I was able to pace myself weekly. I grew my front-end web development skills with lessons that were easy to follow and challenges that were fun to solve! I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone looking to learn more about front-end development.
This was a great course! React is really fun to learn and Matt explains everything so clearly. Sad my time with SheCodes is at an end, but excited to hopefully get a new job in this field!
I'm so happy I was able to take part in this course from the beginning until the very end. When I first started I had very little knowledge of web development, but after finishing my final project I feel that I learned so much and was able to develop new skills. Most importantly as Matt was also saying, was having fun! 🤩

Explanation throughout the course is very clear. It was fun to have challenges at the end of every lesson, its like a recap of what we had learnt. It helps make sure that I really understand the concepts and able to apply it correctly.

It's a very good workshop to learn the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, the challenges are fun, and you learn nice tricks that alone you wouldn't. If you are new at coding, it's very easy to feel overwhelmed by the quantity of new information you have to learn, so It's really nice to have someone helping you navigate through all of this.
I have always wanted to expand my skills in the IT world, and coding is certainly one of them. Here at SheCodes I've taken the time to understand the key rules step by step and put them to practice. It's been such a fun ride and I hope to spread the word for others to learn something new and gain vital skills. Thank you for having me!
I thought this might be difficult but the video and homework assigned makes it easy to learn and understand the concept on various aspect of HTML/CSS/JavaScript. By the way, JavaScript is lots of fun.
These past few weeks were so enjoyable! The way that Matt effortlessly breaks down the fundamentals of coding is so impressive. I started this course as a total beginner but now have the skills to look behind the scenes on any website & understand how it was built - how cool?! If 3 weeks ago somebody would have showed my final project's code, I would never have guessed this could possibly be my creation. The step-by-step classes were organised and taught in a way that is so smooth, efficient, good and fun that you almost don't realise how much you are learning and progressing until the end of the week when you are wrapping all the topics up. Really inspirational: I am already considering to continue with a more advanced class.
This course was challenging but it was very fun to make. I definitively have learned a lot of coding since I started so I'm very proud I made the weather app 🌡️🌞. Also, Matt is an awesome teacher, explaining everything step by step so you can easily follow and understand everything! I still have a long way to go but I'll keep going on this journey!😊

SheCodes has taught me so much. When I began, I did not know anything about coding, especially nothing about HTML or CSS or JavaScript. And now, I have made my own website completely from scratch!🤩 I began the SheCodes course with the thought of using it as a coding boot camp to kickstart me into the programming class I took at my school, and it has both been a lot of fun and incredibly informative. The best thing is that the management of your time is completely up to you, which was very helpful to me since I am usually really busy in my day-to-day life with school, work and sports. So, thank you, SheCodes, for teaching me everything I wished to learn and more!

Wow, only a few months ago I had basically zero coding knowledge. Now I'm more than comfortable and actually having fun creating React apps and designing websites. SheCodes gave me the confidence to start learning code and made the whole process highly engaging and enjoyable!

The second course was even more fun than the first. Seeing how everything comes together is fascinating. I loved programming my weather app, then changing it all over again and improving it on the way.

I had started coding at University, where I had various courses on HTML, CSS and JavaScript, but I found the material complicated in how it was taught and often struggled to keep up. Being apart of SheCodes has really boosted my confidence with coding, and made me realise I can do it, just with the right teacher! Matt's lessons have been enjoyable and made coding fun to learn. I am currently finishing a Non-tech Baccalaureate and heard about SheCodes through Instagram. The hands-on experience and testimonials from the website are with basis and accurate. It is very easy to lose track of time while completing challenges because it is interactively fun, hence my sleepless nights. One of the few sleepless nights where you wake up fulfilled and satisfyingly productive.
With this course I found the entire process of learning to code to be fun!
I enjoyed taking this workshop. I was excited to start my journey on how to code. I found Matt's videos to be helpful, and beginner-level friendly. It was also challenging which is needed for the real world. I also had fun solving the homework assignments that kept me on my feet so that I was not just watching, I was coding!
