SheCodes changed my mind about coding!i used to think coding was boring and inaccessible but learned it is actually creative and a lot of fun. I love it❤
As a person who got Maths Phobia and almost zero knowledge of science subjects, I never thought that I could code. Thank you Matt for making coding super understandable and the kind help from SheCodes Team, I acquired some basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript:) The challenges after every lesson are very useful. It keeps the students on track and allows us to revise them immediately. I have lots of fun with coding and could never imagine that I am hooked after two weeks! Not sure how far I would go with this new hobby but will take the rest of the workshops for sure!
Building the weather app was both fun and challenging. I learned a lot. It really pushed me out of my comfort zone. Highly recommend!

I honestly cannot believe how much time passes when you are having fun! I enjoyed every lesson/challenge and I made use of other materials provided. Sometimes, i get stuck on challenges but it only allowed me to learn more. Also the team on Slack are super helpful. Looking forward to more projects to come as I intend to become a full stack developer.
I already had quite a bit of experience in HTML and CSS, though I haven't used either in maybe a decade so this class was a fantastic review for me. It was also a great introduction to Javascript and I had a lot of fun working on lesson problems, homework, and especially the project!
It was really challenging, but also fun and rewarding. I feel more confident in my abilities as a coder
Learning was really fun and engaging. I didn't expect to have this much fun with coding. I started out the basic course just to check out and found myself diving into the plus. It was very satisfying seeing my project come to life. Matt explains this stuff very simply and it's fun and inspiring.
Proud to say I did it! 🎉 After 8 weeks with lots of ups and downs, my first App is finally alive and fully functional. It took me a while to understand how React components work, but then it was a lot of fun. I'm sad that this course has come to an end now, but I plan to continue on my coding journey. After finishing SheCodes Basic I didn't hesitate to keep going with Plus. I do not regret it ! I had a lot of fun. I still need to practice but I have tons of ideas to built. It really gave me the confidence to create my own projects !
SheCodes Basics was a great start to learn how to code. The lessons were simple and straightforward and you can definitely see progress every time you finish the assignments. This workshop showed me how easy and fun coding can be!

SheCodes is amazing!!! Previously, I've been enrolled on few coding platforms in a bid to learn software development. One major challenge I had was understanding the reason why some codes are written in a certain way. Getting started on SheCodes, I've had the best learning experience so far. I can't only write codes, I understand and have an explanation to each line of codes and function. Super excited to start the next phase of my learning and I look forward to completing SheCodes Pro.

If you want to learn how to code you need to practice. SheCodes is the perfect platform for that. You have projects for each lesson, it's a challenging subject but you have a lot of fun studying it.

I have always wanted to learn to code; at least basics. Before applying to SheCodes, I have tried couple other platforms but I used to get boring and gave up right after the first lesson.I was thinking that I will never be able to learn it. However, SheCodes workshops changed my whole perception. I loved it. Mat is a great teacher and he explains everything so clearly. The lessons are not overwhelming like others. The tasks are interesting and fun. The team is very supportive. I have enjoyed every single minute of passed three weeks. When I look at my codes, I feel so proud of how much I managed to learn. One morning I was scrolling through Instagram and randomly came across a free 60-minutes coding course from SheCodes. I usually don't bother about these things, but I just decided to go through it. This was a challenging course but in the end I feel I am a better coder! It was fun learning the different javascript functions and watching the app come to life because of it.
This workshop teaches complex techniques using react. At times it was difficult, however, using react turned out to be more fun and better for me than using pure JS. React also built more good habits since it's stricter as well. So even though learning it was a little frustrating at first, it soon become rewarding and worthwhile.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐SheCodes deserves these stars! The basics has been an amazingly fun and interesting to me as a beginner. Having no previous knowledge in I.T, SheCodes molded me and I can see myself moving from zero to hero!. I am so hooked and thinking loud......, why not switch careers?. Thumps up to Matt and the entire SheCodes crew for a job well done. I am definitely upgrading my knowledge with SheCodes Pro and why not recommend to my friends while highly looking forward to what's next.
Easy to understand and fun! A good introduction to front end coding.
SheCodes Plus was the continuation of my coding journey after SheCodes Basics. This workshop helped me to further deepen my knowledge about coding and in particular, to develop and design an officially hosted website. And what's most important: it was again a lot of fun! I can't wait to continue with SheCodes Responsive.
I am so happy about this experience. I had so much fun. Coding is not that much difficult as i expected. I will definitely improve and expand my programming skills.
Every time I complete a SheCodes workshop, I become very surprised of all the little and big skills that I had learned in the course. SheCodes provides one of the best, most fun and most complete courses for anyone who is interested in becoming a front-end developer.
SheCodes introduced a world of the CSS, HTML and JavaScript to me, and the main thing - how all of them are connected and synchronized. With tiny steps we learned all those scary-complicated processes and functions, by the end you feell yourself empowered and inspired. Honestly - it was not that easy for me to integrate all the tasks into my full-time job + other course daily routine, but with the help of extentions the journey finished successfully.
This workshop is brilliant! SheCodes Plus taught me a lot of coding skills while building the weather app. It was challenging and fun at the same time.
I would highly recommend learning with SheCodes, it was a great experience and real fun to explore world of coding. Finishing my last project with SheCodes Radio made it great fun and pleasure.

After taking SheCodes Basics, I had no doubt going to upper class and SheCodes Plus definitely taught me much more advanced coding skills. As for the big project, I am very satisfied with my weather forecast app which was quite challenging yet fun.
Easy and fun workshop, which perfectly fits with a tight schedule.
I have always wondered how to make websites that would scale correctly depending on the device they were viewed on. Despite looking fairly complex at the beginning, we've learnt that there are tools out there that are designed to help code responsive website without massive overhead and a fairly detailed documentation. A brief overview of SEO requirements was also good but fairly limited and will require a little more research but this wasn't the purpose of the workshop after all! I would recommend taking this workshop as it has given me the confidence to code an entire website that is functional on all platforms!

The free workshop was EXACTLY what I needed to finally make the jump into coding that I had been thinking about for so long, and the Basic workshop solidified my hunger for more. The final project was fun and enjoyable even though I stumbled upon a few challenges. Great way to introduce yourself to coding!
I learned a lot from the basic workshop I took. It seemed like a lot of information because I'm very new to coding, but it was interesting, easy to learn and the assignments/homework were fun to do. If you're on the fence about taking this course, just do it, it's a great way to find if coding is right for you. I'm looking forward to learning more in a more advanced workshop.

SheCodes responsive is very very fun! I enjoyed so much my final project, creating a webpage just for myself. I have many ideas for it and I was able to achieve my page just the way I wanted it! I am satisfied!
I am so amazed that I have been able to complete the SheCodes Basics Course with such ease!! I had so many doubts in myself but once I started, I had so much fun and loved working on the final project in week 3!! I was really excited to do React, but I was also a bit intimidated. Javascript is something I try to understand through application, and even then it's difficult when there are so many sources around me. I think this workshop was great, fun, and informative!
I love SheCodes! I was really nervous before starting this workshop, because I knew nothing about coding! But Matt's lessons were so easy to follow and the challenges were really fun to complete! Now thanks to SheCodes, I've discovered a new hobby, and possibly a stepping stone to a career related to coding 😁.

I loved SheCodes so much! Matt made it so easy to learn the basics of front-end development. The lessons are very short and digestible, but long enough to get all the necessary information needed to complete your challenges and homework. SheCodes has been an amazing journey. SheCodes Basics has simply been the best place for me to actually learn the fundamentals of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. We used real tools, and thus got to work in the environment that professionals operate in. Lessons are very hands-on and you need to use the knowledge you've learnt in a lesson in the next challenge, so you have to pay attention. It is no problem though, because Matt keeps it very fun, up-beat and engaging. I would highly recommend SheCodes for any girl/woman/lady+++ who wants to learn how to code.

This was my last workshop with SheCodes and a great addition to the Basics, Plus and React. Building responsive websites is the future. You will learn so many new things. I highly recommend it as Matt explains everything in detail and the final project is so much fun.
I've tried many coding tutorials in the past, but SheCodes teaches material in a way that is fun and engaging. The material is taught in a manner where the student is not overburdened with trivial technicalities but given the necessary tools to explore and create projects that correlate well with real-world use cases. I'm very excited to make use of my skills, and I've learned more in 3 weeks than I ever did 6 months into so called web development courses.
I highly recommend this workshop! Matt has a very simple way of explaining, very easy to understand, especially for beginners like myself. Simply amazing! I cant believe I learned how to code a basic webpage in two and a half weeks. The last time I ever manipulated a HTML was to add music on MySpace in 2005. I did not think that I would be able to pick up this skill so quickly but with Matt's guidance and thorough explanation through each solution I was able to practice and produce a functional visible code starting from a blank page.
Definitely a challenging yet rewarding workshop. I was looking forward to learning about hosting with accurate data. It surely is complex and powerful. I absolutely recommend this workshop. The help is there when you need it and it is fun to learn on the possibilities with coding.
