SheCodes has motivated me a lot! The weekly challenges are just right amount for me and fit with my daily life which is as a jobber. It's amazing I could learn html, CSS, and Javascript within 3 weeks and build a webpage!

I always thought coding was super hard and boring, and I could not contemplate ever learning this skill. How wrong was I? With the right teacher and resources it is definitely not only do-able, but FUN! Matt is a fantastic teacher, and with his clear and concise explanations learning to code is an achievable goal. Being able to not only watch, but then do really makes the whole learning experience amazing. I can't wait to start the SheCodes + workshop. I love being able to see what I code, transform into a beautiful website. Being able to see visually the result of a change really enables my brain to learn through trial and error. Love it, cannot rate this workshop highly enough. Bring it on!

This was such an amazing experience! I'm not just saying that either, I started off being excited about learning how to code and it ended on such a high note that I what to continue the experience and learn more. It gets frustrating when you can't figure out what's wrong with your code but there's such a strong and healthy supportive community to guide you, and when you finally fix the bug then its the best feeling. I never thought that I had the capability to code, but Matt made the course easy to follow and in the space of 3 weeks, I was able to build my own web page from scratch. This workshop has taken me from a complete beginner, with no coding experience to being able to code my own landing page (with JavaScript enabled user interactivity). All in the space of 3 weeks! Amazing coding workshop! I am a Designer and a Luxury Marketer and I had always wanted to develop my coding skills to the next level, but I always postponed it because I thought it was very complicated and hard to understand until I got to learn from Matt! He explains in a very smooth and easy way for you to completely understand and his team is always there for your questions. This workshop is exactly what I was looking for, it gives you the ability to apply and create while you are learning and that is what helps you to make the most out of this course. I must say that when I started to do this course, I did not expect that I will willingly spend night hours after work watching lessons and learning to code. But I did. I enjoyed every lesson with challenges and when I was working or doing anything else, I was thinking about what will I learn today and was so excited to continue. Matt shows and explains everything so simply, which made this course even more thrilling. And thanks to technical support and other students that are willing to help if you find yourself stuck with your code, you avoid feeling frustrated or bored! In just those 3 weeks (counting 2 as the third was work on the final project) you learn how to do basic webpage! It is just amazing! I will undoubtedly continue with other SheCodes courses.

I have really enjoyed learning how to code with SheCodes. You guys are amazing! I feel very confident in my coding now. I am a wife and mother of 6 children and with everything going on in the world right now I knew I needed to start a career that I love with some type of job security. I have been in medical billing and coding for over 10 years and it was time for me to do something I would really enjoy, something that didn't feel like work because I enjoyed it so much! I have worked out of many different billing systems and my goal is to one day build a user friendly billing system that company's can use. What an amazing journey! Like many of us, I started with the SheCodes workshop because, as a designer, I wanted to have some basic coding knowledge. I liked it so much that I wanted to learn more and went to SheCodes Plus where I felt I've learned so much and finished with a good understanding of coding language. So I decided to take the other step - React! - that I truly hope and believe that it will open a new door to a new career. I will not say that it was an easy path, but Matt is an amazing teacher and explains everything in a good and clear way. And he is supported with an amazing team that will not let you stay behind. This has been the easiest and most interactive way for me to learn how to code. In the past I was used to learning html and css from generic apps, but they weren't nearly as fun as SheCodes. If you're on the fence, I would highly recommend trying out the 3-week workshop in order to get a feel for the curriculum like I did and be a part of the slack online project help forum. Loved this course! I'm a beginner in coding but have dabbled a little bit here and there because I've been interested for a while and this course absolutely nailed it! Matt is so clear and explains everything in such a simple way so it's easy for a beginner to understand and it actually makes sense. Definitely enjoyed this course and currently planning on doing one of the advanced workshop because this is definitely something I can see myself taking forward and what an amazing forum to do so! 100% recommend.

It may have taken me 3 weeks and two days to complete the SheCodes Workshop, but this experience has taught me an insurmountable amount about tackling my fears! Each lesson pushed my knowledge in code just the right amount, to where I could then knock out the challenges bit by bit. I attribute my success as well to, Lexi D., and other members of the SheCodes.io Slack community, and especially because I was experiencing setbacks coming from a place of doubt as I reached the half-way point of the course. But, the fast responses to my inquiries as to why it was that my code wasn't working, quickly got me back into tempo, (hence the additional two days), and eventually having the confidence to face the dysfunctional coding mishaps on my behalf. After viewing their online commercial, I was a bit hesitant at first to consider spending the $99 that course would cost, however after the free live-session workshop which I joined, this solidified my stance once and for all to overcome my fears and learn how to code! It truly is amazing to see that after three years following my initial attempt to complete an HTML course, SheCodes Workshop not only aided in my knowledge base of HTML, but provided me with a solid understanding of Javascript, and CSS basics, and most of all, a motivating community--which overall factored into my successful completion of the workshop course. My advice for anyone considering to opt for SheCodes is that, realize it's a worthwhile investment that lasts a lifetime. The skills learned in this workshop shows a glimpse of an individual's forbearance, needed to succeed in life's challenges, no matter how daunting they seem to be at first.

If you have even the slightest interest in coding, do the SheCodes Workshop! At first I was a bit skeptical as to whether I would enjoy the course as I've attempted to code in the past but it never stuck. Believe me, it's worth it! The videos are clear, concise and Matt makes everything as easy to follow as possible. The challenges and homework set out are one of the things that stick out for me from the programme compared to other learning platforms; They encourage you to practise what you've learnt and research things on your own. Another amazing perk is that Matt teaches you not only how to code, but also provides tips along the way of which resources are best to use alongside. It's been an amazing experience and I look forward to doing the SheCodes Plus workshop next!
