I am already a web developper, but i choose sheCodes.io for improving my skills in programming and learn React framework to get new opportunities in my carreer. Actually, I am very glad of the platform and exercices, everything is amazing, ergonomic, and fun.

Changing a career path and learning something brand new can be challenging. I was sceptic at first if coding was something for me and overwhelmed by the variety of schools and courses offering workshops to code. Great workshop for beginners! I learned so much in just 3 weeks. The course is well-structured and Matt is an amazing teacher.
After completing the first introduction course with SheCodes, i wanted to learn more. I have wanted to learn to code for a while but didn't know where to start. Matt's tutorials are very easy to follow and understand and helps us to complete the weekly homework and final projects. The support on slack is amazing and if you are stuck, you will have a reply within hours which has been a massive help. This course has been more challenging than the introduction course, but I am proud to have completed it.
I had been thinking quite a lot about starting to learn how to code but didn't really get into it with the books and courses I had. Finding SheCodes was the best that could have happened to me. I so much enjoyed learning step by step the basics with the videos and challenges. Everything was easy to follow but still challenging. A great mix. I loved this course! After the free class and the 3 weeks workshop, I was hooked on coding and decided to go for the 8 weeks workshop. I started this program top be able to learn how to code websites, as I have a vision for a business website that I have in mind. It is a very complex site and in order for me to understand everything that goes into it. I need to learn what goes on in the backend. These first 3 weeks have been amazing and I have learned so much in regards to website and coding that exact specifications. Matt has been an amazing instructor and has made it easy to understand. What I once thought was a bunch of gibberish, now makes sense. I look forward to the next course as I bought the Pro.
This is an amazing corse and I would recommend it to anyone considering taking it. It is slightly more complicated than the Basic SeCodes corse, but its SO worth it. By the end of this corse you will have ALL the skills you need to make your own websites, including hosting them too!

In comparison to the introduction workshop, this one was really challenging for me as I already had basic HTML and CSS knowledge, but not JavaScript. In the end, I was able to make everything work and I can say: It's amazing what you can learn in just a few weeks! Thank you Matt and the team for making coding such an awesome and fun experience. Such an amazing journey it's been for me, from learning the fundamentals of Web Dev, to Vanilla JS and now React. After so many frustrating and expensive online tutorials and courses, SheCodes was a breath of fresh air for someone with no coding background like me. Matt is a fantastic teacher, he really knows his stuff! Every workshop is well designed and a lot of thought was put into these. Concepts are conveyed with examples and described in a simple and easy fashion, so you don't feel overwhelmed. The lessons are super easy to follow, and homework and projects are great to put everything into practice by yourself. Couldn't recommend more!

I'm a UX designer and took the workshop to learn how to code so I can better communicate and collaborate with developers. I was surprised how much fun it was to code! Matt is great at explaining important concepts and showing you how to code, but he doesn't spoon-feed you everything. He gives you the resources so you learn to research and trouble shoot. Of course there's a whole community of students and Matt himself on Slack to help and support you too when you're stuck. Matt is a rock star and I enjoyed SheCodes Radio while I was coding. It's been an amazing experience and I highly recommend it to everyone!

It is unbelievable that just through 3 courses I was able to code 2 amazing react applications (dictionary and weather app). I definitely highly recommend it to anyone who hesitates. Even though I have full-time study and two part-time jobs I was excited for every class and every homework that Matt gave us. What more, my new employer was impressed by my coding skilled and sees it as an advantage (even though my job is more marketing and data oriented than IT).
The experience was amazing 😍 I enjoy this course so much that I was addicted to solving from challenge to challenge with excitement. Learning programming from 0, building my own page from scatch, I now can build up my essential skills in the journey of digital literacy in the most engaging and interesting way!

I wouldn't have imagined that I would enjoy it so much! It's just so amazing to train our brain to work in a different ways. It felt like html, css and js were different layers and parts of me, and how beautiful it is to see them dancing together into a landing page.
I currently work as a Marketing Coordinator running the graphics and website of a 10 location retail store. Though we use a website management tool I wanted to be able to customize and solve problems on our website. The feeling I got when I went in the back end and edited some code to work the way my boss wanted was such an amazing feeling of accomplishment and pride.
SheCodes was an amazing experience and definitely a kickstart for my knowledge on coding with different programming languages. The lessons are clear and guide me step by step on gaining a deep understanding of something that I've always considered impossible to understand. SheCodes makes it possible.
SheCodes React was challenging but so incredibly rewarding. I loved getting the opportunity to learn another aspect of coding. I hope to continue on this journey with coding. I decided to try the 3 week program because I wanted to understand coding, sure, this is just a small sample of everything that coding entails, but it was an amazing course!! Explaining it like learning a language really helped me take away the fear and intimidation behind the word “code” and made it fun, challenging and exciting!! I’m not sure if I’ll take the next courses, but I’m extremely grateful to this program for allowing me to see that if I wanted, I can continue, and that I can code!!! How awesome and exciting is it to say that?! At almost 42, I can code 🥰. I’m proud to show my daughter that, no matter what age or stage of life you’re in, you can always transform, learn and grow. The classes stretch and challenge you - all at a really good pace - and the support which is available beyond the workshops, is so helpful. I found this course very useful to create a very complete app to add to your portfolio. In terms of difficulty, I think this course is suitable for a novice that has some notions of the topic and wants to learn more, and not so much the absolute beginner because it may get lost very easily. Other than that, the support you get from the technical team (aka João!) is amazing and the staff, in general, are super nice and supportive. Let's keep coding!

Joining SheCodes is one of the best decisions I've made in a long time, for myself. It has been really challenging and sometimes frustrating, but the SheCodes team really gives you all the tools and the support you need to succeed and it has been absolutely amazing. The Basic course was Amazing, and I had a lot of fun! The best parts was figuring out my mistakes and learning from them all at the same time. I would love to continue with the remaining courses.
