Simply amazing! I cant believe I learned how to code a basic webpage in two and a half weeks. The last time I ever manipulated a HTML was to add music on MySpace in 2005. I did not think that I would be able to pick up this skill so quickly but with Matt's guidance and thorough explanation through each solution I was able to practice and produce a functional visible code starting from a blank page.
This has been by far the best virtual class I have taken. The structure of the classes, homework, slack channels etc. are really amazing. The only thing I would change about it is a few of the videos. I found only a small number of the videos a bit confusing and I would go back a few times to watch them again and again ... I thought they could be better edited and explained at times.
SheCode was able expand my knowledge of coding. From the videos, to the hands-on practice, I now have a greater understanding about coding and how it is used in everyday technologies. SheCodes sparked my coder journey and it was amazing to be able to create my own website from scratch! 🤗
SheCodes is amazing. In just 3 weeks I've felt like I've gotten a good foundation on the basics of HTML, CSS, and JS. I honestly cannot wait to jump into the next level and keep learning. The videos are engaging and easily digestible and I absolutely love the hands-on challenges that allow you to put what your learning to practice. I could not recommend SheCodes enough.

SheCodes Responsive has been a fantastic introduction to responsive web design! The lessons are very clear and easy to understand, and the challenges really help put what you learn into practice. I've been using what I have learned in this workshop daily in my role as a software developer! I'm so thankful to SheCodes for everything they have taught me! The community is exceptionally friendly and supportive, and I've met so many amazing people through SheCodes. You can bet that if there is ever a new workshop in the future I will be signing up as quick as I can! I wouldn't want to learn from anyone else!

I have been thinking about learning to code for more than 10 years but, always felt too overwhelmed or too intimidated to start. Due to time constraints, I haven't been able to fully enjoy this workshop. That said, I did enjoy the break it provided from school and work, but I felt like I weren't able to be creative "enough" this time around. SheCodes were amazing as per usual though! I'm very happy that I chose to do these workshops, as I probably wouldn't have been able to allocate time for front-end coding on my own, without SheCodes deadlines to spur me on :) Thanks!

Amazing Again! This is my 3rd course with SheCodes, and I have gained an insane amount of skills and confidence in coding within a short space of time. I thoroughly enjoyed creating my own Responsive website for my portfolio, it gave me ample opportunity to strengthen my command of Bootstrap. After taking Basics and Plus, I was fully equipped to tackle my Responsive project more independently. It was great learning how to build a project on which I could showcase my Weather App and future projects too! My mind is buzzing with all of the projects I want to build now!

I would have never thought it would be possible for me to become interested in coding but I had a lot of fun! It really is amazing to be able to create something out of nothing and lots of fun when something does not work and you have to figure out why! I loved this workshop. I created a weather app from scratch which was awesome. I learned to use a lot of amazing features of javascript and I enjoyed every minute doing so. Totally recommend this one.
I enjoyed participating in the SheCodes Basics workshop. Before signing up for the SheCodes React workshop package I looked around at a lot of different virtual learning options and was more drawn to the overall look and feel of SheCodes. I like that it seems approachable. That may feel small to someone more experienced, but for me it made all the difference. The lessons are broken down into easily digestible subsections, are very concise, and build upon the prior lesson so one gains a cumulative skillset without even acknowledging it. Additionally, Matt is easy to listen to and unintentionally funny. Having open access to the SheCodes slack channels is also an amazing learning tool. It's easy to get caught up and bogged down in the minutiae of whatever one may be building/debugging. Reading thru the slack and testing other people's code can help one to look at their own project differently with new eyes. I'm honestly really proud of what I made for this final project with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

This is my second experience with SheCodes, and was amazing. I was able do learn so much more, in a few months. Was a bit hard to keep a full time job and the course at the same time, but it was flexible enough, and i was able to finish.
I had so much fun in this 3 week workshop. Matt is an amazing teacher, he really breaks down the process in a way that makes coding a lot easier to understand he makes it feel less intimidating. It's a great way to get your feet wet so to speak and see if coding is right for you. I am fully committed to learning this new skill set and feel very confident that If I continue with living and breathing all things coding I will reach my goal of becoming a web developer in the next 6 months. I hope to sign up for one of the more advanced workshops soon, Thanks for the great experience!

Leaning to code with SheCodes was just the best experience, I'm so pleased I started my coding journey here. The perfect blend of challenging and fun. It was amazing how much I learnt in the Basics workshop and I have really surprised myself. Submitting weekly projects was a great way to see your progress and I found it easy to make time for study alongside my full-time job.

This workshop has been amazing. I took a few computer science classes during college but never got the hang of it. I remember getting so frustrated I'd cry even after I started getting help from upperclassmen. This workshop made it so much easier to understand. Now I actually enjoy coding and hope to learn more.

The SheCodes work is a great course. It builds upon the knowledge gained during the Basics course and introduces you to the development tools and processes used in today's world. The course is well organized and well taught. The possibility of working on a real-life app is an amazing incentive and the possibility of building something concrete is really satisfying.

SheCodes has been one of the best things I started in years. The video's are amazing, the community is great and it's a very easy and good start te learn how to code. and don't forget: it's so much fun! I think Matt and his team has found a great way of making coding fun and I celebrate the fact that they target women. And they do it realy well, with Cat's coding, lots of emoji's and even jokes. I highly recomend SheCodes to learn how to code, to get a new skill and to have fun!
SheCodes Plus is an amazing course to expand on what you learn in the Basics course - and it's so much fun! Javascript can be confusing at times but Matt is an excellent teacher and explains it so well at every step. I really enjoyed learning how to integrate real data into a working weather app and I'm looking forward to learning even more with SheCodes!
Learning to code is really fun, especially when you are tutored by someone as amazing as Matt. The information that you learned in each video is very brief but when in the end of the workshop, you will be definitely surprised by what you have learned!

I am currently within the HR career path. However, I have always been curious about coding. I heard about SheCodes last year, and I decided 2022 was going to be my year to EMBARK on this coding journey. The main aspect I was interested in with coding was web design. 👩🏽💻I enjoyed learning HTML, CSS, and JS. I did not expect to learn as much as I did in this coding basics class. All the lessons are ordered in a way for easy learning and comprehension. Matt is an amazing teacher. With each homework assignment and project, you get to test your knowledge! I was hesitant to learn this on my own- however with the support of the SheCodes squad/other learners, I felt empowered that if I didn't understand- I could reach out on the real-time Slack chat. My final project reflects my love for baking! I tried to make it simple yet modern. There are still some concepts I would love to learn in order to implement for further development of my web design skills! I'm not sure what the future is for my coding journey as of now. Now that I have completed the SheCodes Plus workshop I am fully aware of my capabilities as a coder. It was amazing to see what I am capable of and it was all thanks to Matt's simple and direct way of teaching. This course had inspired me to continue pursuing frontend development.
