SheCodes Basic was amazing! I always wanted to learn how to code, but I always assumed that it might be too difficult. However, Matt explains in a very easy and patient way. He never lost me, but at the same time I also never felt bored – I enjoyed the small challenges as well as the homeworks and I like how he makes us do our own research. I believe this is the best way to learn something! Time basically flew by while I was working on the assignments. So much fun! I am looking forward to learn more and I am definitely planning to make my final project responsive after the following workshops :-)

SheCodes responsive workshop has been such an exciting as well as challenging workshop. I have learnt advanced techniques of making responsive webpages. Few years ago I took courses on JavaScript but it didn't really click. It's when I started SheCodes workshops I was fascinated and eager to learn. I couldn't have imagined I would end up here, excited to learn and have fun coding. I had watched videos and tried coding courses but it did not work out well for me because it was poorly explained and extremely confusing. I have learned so much just from SheCodes basics workshop, that completing that final project felt like a huge accomplishment. The instructor Matt, has done an amazing job putting these lessons together.

I was looking to up-skill myself and came across SheCodes. The Workshop was interesting and it motivated me to learn the skills in detail that I already knew in bits and pieces, understand the basics and build on top of it, enhance the skill with latest trends. SheCodes gives the flexibility to learn at own pace but with moderation which is very impressive. It is a nice and well organised platform.The courses are designed in an approachable way, the team is very helpful and keeps us on track. Homework are checked and you get your results in email which is encouraging. SheCodes is doing some amazing things for women globally, and it's so exciting that I got to be a part of that! I loved that participating in a course was also helping women in developing countries to be able to do the same!

SheCodes was a great way to dip my toe into the world of coding. I enjoyed the structure of the course and feel I learned a lot in a short time. The class was just as I expected, I can't build the most amazing website, but I have a foundation and basic understanding of html, and Java.
I had so much fun playing around with coding, and I cannot wait to be able to join coding related conversations. It is easy to follow and also amazing that I was able to learn so much by watching very detailed videos.

I started SheCodes Basic with no coding skills whatsoever. In just three weeks I learned enough to build a functional (and nice looking) landing page, which I find absolutely amazing! The course is well paced and neither too difficult or too easy. Matt teaches you foundations of coding that you can easily expand after completing the course!
I'm going to do all of the workshops but this one was amazing to introduce me to the computer science world and the basics of a website. I can't wait to start the other ones and learn everything from front-end development.
I really enjoyed the beginners course, so wanted to challenge myself by expanding my knowledge of coding. This was a really fun project to work on, frustrating at times but it feels amazing to have created my very own fully-functioning application from scratch!
I completed the SheCodes Basics program with a working knowledge of basic HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I am able to create a basic, functioning, interactive webpage. I had tried a free coding camp previously but the content was not suited to my learning style, and they did not show us how to use actual coding tools such as VS Code and Colorzilla. I finished that course feeling more confused than when I started, online with SheCodes, where I actually learned useful things that I will be able to apply irl outside of the courses. The SheCodes course material is perfectly suited to my visual learning style, and being able to go back and reference the videos at any time, as well as work alongside them in real-time in VS Code, was extremely helpful. I feel confident in my knowledge and abilities. The Slack group is also an amazing resource and any question I asked was answered within an hour. There is a big sense of community and teamwork, and it is clear that everyone wants each other to succeed. I started the SheCodes Plus course this week and have already learned even more! What I really love about the experience is that I came into it not really knowing anything about computers, and thinking it would be hard to learn. However, Matt and the SheCodes team have created a program that is easy to learn, just the right amount of challenging, and most of all, fun! I will absolutely be recommending SheCodes to any woman in my life who may be interested in learning how to code. Its an amazing and extremely fun experience, and I cant wait to learn even more!

I am very surprised at how much I learned during this workshop. Many of the topics in SheCodes Plus were completely new to me and while I may not be 100% comfortable with them, I am not completely lost either. Amazing, Amazing, Amazing Course! I doubted myself at first but instructor Matt is truly gifted in breaking everything down into morsels. I digested every lesson and enjoyed the challenges.
