Joining shecodes has been one of the best things I have ever experienced. Learning how to code has given me a reason to not give up on myself and to keep going, coding is so much fun you learn something everyday.

I went to this course to boost my web development skills, following Matt's steps, I have built a real challenge weather app with Vanilla JS. I admit the 8-week course has been tough and sometimes a bit frustrating, but this is how resilience is now one of my skills.

Repetition is key! Be not afraid to watch the videos multiple times. I take a nap after and then it all clicks. Being good at this is not an overnight skill. The journey is never-ending. Through this course, I see that I have a lot to learn. This was beyond fun and I enjoyed it.

Great course which allows you improve your skills in React
I started off as a complete beginner not knowing a thing. I decided to take a chance one day and joined a free class, safe to say I was sold. I applied through the SheCodes Foundation and got accepted. I began my coding journey with SheCodes basics and was amazed by all of the things I was able to do with a few lines of code. Matt is an amazing teacher and explains everything so well. I enjoyed all the challenges as it made you think about every possible solution and although the homework made me want to cry when I finally got it right, I was super proud of myself. Overall, I would give this course a well-deserved 10 out of 10.
I would like to say a huge thank you to Matt and his team who were involved in SheCodes Plus. Diving deeper into HTML, CSS and JavaScript Matt came closer every week and prepared his students to create their first weather app. Having seen what can be created with the help of these tools that we used, I want to gain even more knowledge and skills in order to become more perfect.

My viewpoint on life has drastically changed since I began coding with the Shecodes curriculum. It has taught me that problem solving should not be dreaded, but rather something to look forward to since it feels like an accomplishment after it is completed. I have greater optimism for job opportunities, and this has improved my inventive talents.
The SheCodes React workshop was an insightful & challenging learning experience regarding modern web development libraries. During the course, I acquired knowledge of the intricacies of React.js including states, conditional rendering & API integration; navigating the complexities of React has also provided me with the opportunity to become technically proficient in aspects such as code refactoring to produce simplified, clean code.
Even though I took my time with the add-on, I learned to look after the details and go over again and again to find mistakes myself. It is the best way to learn!
Week one was very challenging since everything was new, However, when I started to get ahold of myself in week 2, everything was still challenging yet fun and interesting to do.
Oh my Lord, This workshop was so far the hardest I have to say, If you are NOT well organized your responsive will be a nightmare. It was a long journey to finish this portfolio of mine but I'm happy that I could have finish the biggest website so far that is fully responsive even thought the code might be bit messy I will improve and redo this portfolio in the future for sure. :D Thank you Matt and see you in Responsive Add-on <3

I really enjoyed building this landing page, where we learned to apply advanced techniques like CSS Filters, CSS Hero styling, HTML tables and Embeds as well as pure CSS grids and CSS responsive grids. Building a fully responsive website without using frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind, felt enormously empowering. Thanx to SheCodes and Matt Delac for another grand workshop.

This project took my knowledge to the next level. I previously found Bootstrap and building columns daunting and confusing, but while working on this project everything just 'clicked' and I can't understand why I had so much trouble before. My skills and knowledge are growing with each course and the ability to apply what we've been learning brings it all together in the end!

I decided to try something new and out side my comfort zone and I must say I’m enjoying coding although at times it can be challenging but I’m getting there. I can safely say I now can see my self as a female in tech by the end of this year.

Honestly, this was all a breeze. Everything is just explained in a way that is easy for anyone to grasp. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire process, and I cannot wait for "the more" that still awaits me.
I had no clue about coding prior to this course and thanks to SheCodes Basic, within just 3 weeks I was able to build a page that even my software-developer boyfriend is impressed with. :) The course is fantastically built and Matt is an absolute superstar - his next-level teaching talent combined with light-hearted humor made the entire experience into a fun game without a trace of stress. It took me a while to decide what path to take, I really wanted a change in my life but I was not sure where to start and what would be good for me. I've been thinking for long time about joining a course like this but I didn't have any clue on how things were working. After I decided to enrol, I found these three weeks so easy to understand and get really on board with what was explained to me so far. Every single lesson was really interesting to follow and very well explained, I received a lot of support when it was needed and I couldn't be happier of the decision I took to join. I strongly believe I found something that keeps me motivated and wanting to learn more and more in order for me to finally change my career and do something I enjoy on daily basis.

Navigating through the world of coding languages and building websites brought a lot of challenges, however, Rome wasn't built in a day, and this was just the perfect foundation to lay for my future in the tech industry. I'm really excited on taking on new thrilling user-friendly projects and equip myself even more.
Lessons are very structured as always. I love that we are building towards working on building a functional web application, and the lessons throughout are broken down to teach the essentials we need to learn for the HTML, CSS, and JS + how to use GIT and deploy the website in the end. Felt like we have a goal to work towards while learning the harder concept. It's also always so good to see Matt code it from scratch at the videos and see the way he tries to debug the code when it's not working. so helpful.

I have zero background in the tech industry but after seeing the wonderful work life balance it has offered my husband, I became interested. I was scared to switch from something I am just getting comfortable with (nursing) and going to the complete polar opposite end. It really is like learning a new language but Matt and his SheCodes team have done a wonderful job of fitting it into bite sized pieces and offering enough opportunities to practice that you will in fact start speaking the language! It's a lot of fun. The best way I can describe it is being in an art class that asks you to replicate, or create, a piece of art with whatever means you know to get to it and its a puzzle! No one code is the same but the end product is very similar.
It has been a very tricky past weeks but I managed to get back on track with the work. very challenging, I can't say I didn't think of giving up when it came to the GIT and GitHub part but i pulled through. I'll forever be grateful.
Enrolling in SheCodes was one of the best decisions I've ever made. As someone with little to no coding experience, I was initially intimidated by the world of programming. However, from day one, the instructors' passion, expertise, and commitment to our success were evident.
