Doing this part of the course was very challenging, the tasks became more complex, but through the homework projects given, each challenge got better. I highly recommend practicing same time when Matt is explaining to ensure full understanding.

SheCodes Responsive was a good challenge. The course doesn't go into a lot of details but it helps you get the basics.

I am very excited graduating from SheCodes.
I never did coding in my life, then i came across a Facebook post encouraging ladies to join. At first i was hesitant because i thought i have to have an IT background. Here i am i enjoyed my first stage of coding though it was a bit challenging but once you get it it's like coding is in my gene.
I can confidently say it's been an enlightening journey. Through this course, I've gained a foundational understanding of web development and its intricacies. HTML taught me the structure of web pages, CSS empowered me to style them creatively, and JavaScript added interactivity and functionality, breathing life into my projects. I feel equipped to explore further, whether it's diving into more advanced coding languages or embarking on personal web development projects. Overall, completing this basic coding class has been a transformative experience, igniting a passion for coding and paving the way for exciting future endeavors in the field of web development.

There is a lot of material in text and video format and it is simply impossible not to understand something. If there is a problem on the site, the support service is always online during the day. There is a help chat, where they will always help with a solution. It is possible to postpone work for a week if something happens.
Learning about CSS grids has enlightened me on the way I approach layout design, offering incredible flexibility and responsiveness to my web projects but also makes me appreciate the power of frameworks like Bootstrap which makes life easier. The HTML tables lessons was a cool little feature. Finally, embedding medias was the must-learn lesson as every websites have them nowadays to add a dynamic touch / enriching the user experience. Once again SheCodes has truly empowered me with the knowledge and tools to create stunning, user-friendly websites. I highly recommend their courses to anyone looking into it :)
Everything about Shecodes is amazing, from the website to every lesson and mentor. I have learned so much and I am so grateful for them offering me this course for free. Supporting women is their main focus and as a woman, I have so much respect for the founder and team for creating this company.
Another fantastic course from SheCodes, I thoroughly enjoyed learning about responsive design. I now feel confident in my ability to create responsive websites. All of the workshops so far have broken down the fundamentals of Javacript, CSS, and HTML in a way that has been accessible and easy to learn through creating apps and websites in an engaging way.
This workshop was more advanced than the Basics more challenging but it was worth it. I Acquired a lot of knowledge.
Going into coding, I was terrified because I didn't know what to expect but I am happy to say that the program is beginner friendly and I managed to overcome my fears. My knowledge has expanded incredibly and I cannot wait to learn more.
This has to be the simplest method of teaching. imagine failing your project, but your tutor is not disappointed, instead, he encourages you because he knows you can be better and will be better, not only that, there is a forum where your questions can be asked and answers be given which also helps you connect to other learners from around the world I am proud to be part of this project I recommend you start right away

This was a great addition to SheCodes Basic. I enjoyed thinking of the different use cases for using some more of the CSS properties that I learned. It's always a pleasure when you get to work on a topic that you enjoy, and with the projects we submit, that is always the case!
This workshop was able to distill down the fundamentals of Javacript, CSS, and HTML in a way that was accessible and easy to learn through the pragmatic practice of creating a weather app! I feel not only do I understand those elements better than I did before, but also knowing how to use them in tandem with APIs has been a huge differentiator in my learning and understanding. I appreciate the structure that the schedule provides to help stay on track, but am extremely grateful for being able to use extensions also when life got in a little wonky in the middle.
React Add On was a great course to build on the React skills. It was challenging and enjoyable to build the dictionary while interacting with new APIs.

This class made me finally understand JavaScript after YEARS of trying to learn it on Codecademy and others. The instruction was just enough to teach the principles and the assignments really made me think but in a good way. I felt safe to ask questions, too.

I had an amazing experience with SheCodes! As someone completely new to coding, I was initially intimidated by the idea of learning how to code. However, the SheCodes program made the learning process enjoyable and accessible. The structured video lessons and hands-on projects provided me with the guidance and motivation I needed to succeed. These past few weeks have been very demanding but extremely interesting as coding became increasingly complex. Whenever I thought I already knew a subject, or at least understood its logic, the next lesson would break my confidence and increase my frustation. However, when you see your project developing and you are the one responsible for it, all the previous stress no longer make sense. It's a journey, not a sprint, so be patient with yourself, even if it doesn't seem like it, we are evolving step by step. Sending good vibes to the newly coders and my best to all souls (students and SheCodes team) on Slack who are always available to help us. This experience was well worth it. To be continued...

This has been an interesting 3 weeks of trial and error, learning and challenging myself even outside of the SheCodes platform. Everything is explained in layman terms to better understand what each code does and how it can be implemented into what one is trying to build. One thing i like about the SheCodes community is how fast they respond once you send a message in need of assistance. Not only do the technical team respond, but the other ladies in the program also respond if they are able to assist. I would definitely recommend to someone who wants to learn how to code. Definitely excited to learn more and build more projects.

I really enjoyed the course from the beginning to the end. The gradual increase in complexity of the material allowed for a thorough understanding of each concept, ensuring that I not only comprehend the code that Matt was showing but also how to construct it myself later in the challenges.
This was a great add-on course to the basic learnings of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It was especially fun to try and code at the same time as the learning videos for the project (assignment) for this course. This was a great way to test my understanding of what was being done, and see if I have found other ways to do reach the same solution.
This was great continuation of the Basics course. I definitely learned quite a few new CSS/HTML and JavaScript tricks. I'm super excited to learn more and create even more complex web pages!
