I have never felt so powerful! I enjoyed the Basics Workshop so much. I was a total beginner, knew nothing about coding. Great instructor, fun workshop, excellent for beginners. The lessons move at your own pace, you can revisit a lesson as much as you need to fully understand. I couldn't recommend SheCodes highly enough!

This program has been easy to follow and understand; even for someone with minimal to no experience in coding. The videos were short and full of information, and completing homework assignments was easier with all the resources She Codes provides.
Learning is one thing but replicating or creating something from scratch with comprehension is another thing. Coding requires logic and continuing the journey requires persistence. Coding is challenging, and requires time, effort, and trial and error. Passion is not necessary but it can help. So why do I love coding or continue to find myself doing this? I believe its because I can bring an idea to life by words. We do not hear this a lot but coding and creativity sounds like two different worlds which in fact work well together. Advanced CSS and JS was a beast together with codesandbox, but I was an even greater beast! I fought, I almost quit, but kept on fighting and here I am. Someone previously commented "Be encouraged and keep at it!", a special thank you to them, due to the particular comment amongst many other things I kept fighting. Moreover, I cannot get enough of the lessons, I just want to keep doing them. I like to say "There is so much to learn and see," I love learning and SheCodes Plus definitely had a lot of learning. I cannot wait for the next phase, I cannot help but wonder what other interesting things are there for me. I enjoyed learning about React library and it was fun to utilize previously learned JS, HTML and CSS skills in a new way. The lectures were insightful and detailed.
I found my SheCodes introduction to the basics journey very exceptional because you get to ask questions when you need help and Matt is very calm and makes sure that when he explains things you fully understand what is said through the videos. It makes me thrilled to know that am one step away from being where I see myself in the tech world.
It has been an amazing ride so far. It was great to do some advanced coding during the SheCodes Plus workshop. It gave me a boost and so much confidence knowing that I could pull it off. The tutorials were really explanatory and it was a great experience altogether!

Since from a young age I've always loved anything that had to do with computers and technology in general, but unfortunately life happened so I could not afford to go to university. Fortunately when I was scrolling through Tik Tok one day, I came across a video at spoke about how SheCodes is the perfect coding course for beginners. So, later on that day I went to the SheCodes website to check out the available courses, and to my surprise, they offered funding for people like me who are eager to learn but do not have the means to do so. I then applied to the SheCodes foundation. A few weeks later, I was notified that I will be starting the coding journey soon. I have been coding for three weeks now and I am grateful for the fruitful opportunity, and I am looking forward to the rest of the coding course. 😊😊😊

I took the SheCodes Basic Workshop over 2 years ago and it launched me into a career in the tech industry. I wanted to continue developing my skills and decided to keep learning with SheCodes. This last course seemed more challenging than the others so far but Shecodes does an amazing job at teaching at a digestible pace. From the students to the staff to Matt, you get all the support, help, and tools needed to be successful. If you're unsure, take the chance, you won't regret it.
It was an experience out of this world.Everything I learnt so far has fueled up a desire to learn more. The first week was a bit of a challenge for me because I took too long to adjust to my schedule but the following weeks were a bliss. HTML and CSS gave me a challenge but I was able to keep up.Then things got a little easier when I got to JavaScript. The instructor explained so well that you cannot miss a thing. I am going to keep practicing to perfect my skills. I realized that you never stop learning and there is always new information and updates on the languages and that keeps me on my feet all the time. I cannot wait to learn more.

Having tried the She Codes Add-on, I must say it has been a valuable asset in boosting my confidence with CSS and HTML. These modules provided clear guidance and practical exercises that enhanced my understanding of web development fundamentals. However, when it came to JavaScript, I found the content to be overly simplistic and lacking in depth. While the program excelled in spoon-feeding concepts, I was left wanting more substantial lessons to truly master JavaScript. Overall, the She Codes Add-on was beneficial for my CSS and HTML skills, but fell short in delivering comprehensive JavaScript instruction.

I just wanted to share a quick note and let you know that SheCodes does a really good job. I'm glad I got chance to work with you and learn from you. It's really great how easy you make complex topics easy to understand.This Adds-On workshop intrigued me the most, I have learnt many styling properties in this workshop.
At first, I was very intimidated learning how to code. at the moment, I am 39 years old with a 11 month old baby, and pregnant! It has been slightly difficult to find the time to keep up with the workshops. But thankfully with SheCodes, I am able to extend my deadlines so I can keep up with the class. I honestly considered just giving up, due to only having uninterrupted time in the late hours. I'm glad I reconsidered and completed my first two workshops. I was astonished by how much information I memorized, even after taking an unexpected break due to health issues. Matt Delac is a great teacher and pays attention to detail, which helps me learn and memorize with clarity. I like that I am able to go back and relearn a specific lesson instead of being left struggling to figure it out.
I really loved this part of the course! It was a great way to build on skills I'd already learned.
This workshop really enhanced my knowledge of CSS, especially in the agile, innovative world of mobile technology. Being able to improve my apps and sites and landing pages for different screen resolutions is an invaluable tool as a developer and I can't wait to put it to use.
I've tried to learn Javascript many times over the years and I never had that easy of a time. Matt has made it where I can learn Javascript and where it makes sense!
All the videos are easy to follow along to and understand!! Some concepts would be so confusing to understand otherwise, but everything is simplified in his videos. I love tech and can't wait to find my job!!
