This was a great experience, no regrets at all! I thought that coding was an impossible thing for me to learn, but I was wrong, actually that is very interesting and at SheCodes everything was taught in a very simple and easy way.
I absolutely loved SheCodes! It's amazing how much I understand after just one weekend!
SheCodes helped me learn the basics of coding on CSS, HTML, and JavaScript in a short period of time. I loved the course structure and exercises presented throughout the lessons. I also loved working on my final project and never thought I would be capable of assembling a page like that and have fun while doing so! I would definitely recommend. :)

SheCodes Workshop is a great and inspiring experience to learn the basics of coding. It is an intense weekend of learning but Matt explains everything in a simple and attractive way. As a Product Owner I struggled to fully understand the developers on my team. SheCodes teached me that coding is not a crazy monsters and if you are curious enough a weekend is what it takes to ignite the coder in you.
I learned the essentials of html, and I think I can really apply what I learned in this workshop to create a site, that I have been waiting for a while to do but didn't know how.
An engineering course gives many logical tools but not all correspond to the needs of the job market. Continuing to evolve is a constant task. This course was a step towards improving my programming skills, giving me the foundation to continue exploring on my own.
I had a great time at "SheCodes". It is a lot to see in two days, but Matt manages to make it flow the best way as possible. I give an extra star for the music (made the workshop even better). It was my first contact with the world of coding, and I am looking foward to next course.
It was a great restart for me! As an engineer I took some coding courses at the university, but the way they were taught was neither attractive nor practical. SheCodes has a practical approach that allows us to test everything we learn and ask questions whenever we need to! I recommend this WS to all girls who feel that web development is something they would like to try, as it is a tool that requires only a computer and the internet. With this kind of skill we can complement something we do on a day-to-day basis with something we can capitalize on remotely.
I liked a lot the workshop! I could learn and apply new and very useful techniques for HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I am eager to use even more my new abilities soon!

A few years ago, speaking English was a skill valued in the market. Currently, it is the minimum required. I believe we are seeing the same phenomenon with "programming", specially for those working in the field of engineering and technology. Considering that a gap in my academical education, I decided to apply to "SheCodes" workshop. Of course I don't feel a programmer after the workshop but I feel that I have the tools to start learning by myself! I come from a financial area and kind of tech friendly, but before the course I could never imagine that my knowledge doing macros in MS Excel (which looks a bit old fashioned in times of artificial intelligence) could be highly connected with JavaScript. The weekend was full of new concepts and the SheCodes methodology allowed Matt and the team challenge us at the same time we had lots of fun.

A great workshop for people who are curious about programing. I already had some knowledge of CSS and HTML and it was still a great learning experience. It is fast-paced, and you might find yourself at a loss a couple of times, but Matt is a great teacher and you end up the workshop with great basics.
SheCodes was an excellent way to enter the front-end development world and I'm very excited for my next steps.

I decided to join the SheCodes Workshop because knowing something of coding would help accelerate some processes in my current job and aid the communication with the IT team! I left the workshop convinced that this was the best thing I could have done for my company and myself! The way the workshop is designed is really motivating. You are constantly putting into practice the new learning and getting validation that you can actually make it - it is really empowering! Coding is not a seven-headed monster!
It has been a great opportunity to start the abc of coding. It had a speed mode equal to 10 energy drinks but it was a great experience and a great challenge... and I loved it! It allowed me to demystify important concepts and understand that coding it's not only to "geeks"!! But if you want it you can do it, it takes a lot of practice, investigation, curiosity and creativity... and to be able to start and stop a puzzle over and over again... Bucket list: "Start coding" --> Check!

SheCodes was a really good learning experience. Throughout the weekend we learnt the very basics of how to create a webpage and how to make it interactive with the user, by resorting to HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Matt is a great teacher and it's really good to have someone who knows what's being used nowadays and what isn't; and can give you some guidance for your very first steps into the coding world. It's a very hands-on course, where you actually get to put in practice what you learn, instead of just getting your head full of theory. Since I was born, the world of tech wasn't exactly my thing, but over the years I realized that it could be a lot of fun and interesting. When I found Matt's course I told myself "girl you have to do it". I do not regret my decision and even though it wasn't easy at the beginning, I can see myself doing it in the future! In a way this course was life changing for me. I am fed up about my area of studies and I really want to pursue something different. Now I am starting to understand this new tool and I am confident that is something that I really enjoy. Matt is a great teacher!
In search for a new job, it became so frustrating to come across mostly demand for "front end dev" or "full stack dev", without even understanding what it meant. After these two days, I know now what to focus on to get my foot into the new market. There is still a long way to go but this weekend definitely pointed me in the right direction. Knowledge is very empowering and this experience is a great reminder of just that :-)

My boyfriend is a software developer and when he talks... I don't quite understand what he says. Now, at least I have the minimum knowledge about what he does :) It was an interesting and challenging weekend, but it was worth it! It has been a great experience! I've learned a lot about coding it self but also about how to solve problems on my own, about available tools and about a new mindset.
Great way to get the fundamentals of programming when you don't have any knowledge of Data Science or related fields. The explanations are clear and deep enough to give you an idea of where you need to go in your own time. The exercises also help you to put into practise all you have learned as you go along as well as the final project!
The 12-hour workshop is very well structured, in a way that not only you can understand the logic but also practice the basics, try new things and learn by doing it. It is a great environment, very dedicated team and definitely worthy experience! I am really eager to keep learning and certain that this was a great place to start 😊

I was looking to jump back into graphic design after a number of years and I took this course to refresh my credentials. The format was easy to understand and I will continue to build upon the knowledge that I have gained.

It was a great refresher course for myself; I studied web development 10 years ago in college but haven't written any code for a few years - the tutorials were thorough and at a great speed, allowing for me to learn at my own pace.
I saw an ad for SheCodes via Instagram and was intrigued by the whole concept and initiative to get more females into tech and coding! As a sociology student, I already had some experience with coding in other programs and languages, so I wasn't all new to the concept of coding, but learned a ton nonetheless! Matt's teaching is delivered in a very pedagogic manner, which makes a whole lot easier for both beginners and people on an intermediate level. Definitely worth it!

Absolutely loved learning coding, still so much to learn but this was the perfect way to start for someone who had no clue about coding! I only wish the 3rd week also had a couple more lessons to keep learning more JS! I have every intention of joining SheCodes+ as I loved the teaching style!!

I did not have any experience in programming, and this course really gave me an insight as to what coding is like. I am glad that there were online had challenges and weekly assignments as I felt more challenged and it excited me to be able to put into practice what I had learned in the tutorial videos.I look forward to expanding my coding knowledge in the future.
