Coding gives such an awesome feeling, when you can see immediate result of your work! It takes time and patience to learn, it's a completely different universe with their own rules but as soon as you understand the logic - coding starts collaborate with you helping to create something very cool.

Greetings! My name is Alessandra and I am a brazilian translator who is very involved with languages. This time, I decided to learn a different type of language and I am simply thankful for the existence of SheCodes coding workshops and for the amazing quality of material and support. In only 3 weeks I could learn and create things I never thought I would. It is a very rewarding experience both personal and professional. I am glad I have acquired new useful skills and that now I have the chance to keep on learning and improving myself professionally. So, I would like to thank Matt Delac and everyone involved, instructors and colleagues.
Overall, I think that the course is well structured, I enjoyed working towards a specific project. It is definitely a good choice if you want to discover if coding is for you. However, one thing I really would have appreciated is getting feedback on homework and final assignments. They simply got accepted as valid solutions without any additional comments, even though I am sure there was a lot to improve.
This was my first online course i've ever taken and i am so happy i did! This is a great intro to the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript, so it's perfect for beginners. I really enjoyed the challenges after each lesson, i think the platform is super easy to use and the forums on Slack come in handy when you're stuck and need help! Matt is a great teacher, i really like how he explains everything in detail, whilst keeping it fun and interesting!
The SheCodes course really made some things clear for me that appear during my normal work days. This way, I finally understand developers a little bit better. It was a nice way to learn something new!

A superbly constructed online course, the lessons are fast, not boring and easy to understand. And having the interactive help of the community and the team at all times is valuable.
I started SheCodes with no prior coding knowledge. I had tried online learning for other subjects in the past and didn't have much success; I thought I was just someone who could only learn in person. I decided to try the online course anyway and I am SO GLAD I did. The course is well laid out. The videos are well done and I loved doing the challenges and homework to practice and reinforce the lessons. The best part of this course was that it was actually fun and gave me the confidence to continue on my coding journey. I'm excited to see where these skills take me and I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to get started.

I have always been wondering how websites are made. This course finally revealed the mystery to me and even taught me how to do it myself. At first, I was worried that it might be too difficult, but the lessons are easy to understand and teach you all the basics in small steps. Theory as well as practical exercises are equally included. I had this interest in coding and I decided to aplly to the SheCodes Workshop and I loved the workshop. It's possible for someone without any background to learn how to code. Matt is a great teacher and his videos are really easy to understand and the challenges allow you to put in practice what you learn in each session. It's a great way to start coding.

I honestly never expected to be so amused by the world of coding, but thanks to the short and to-the-point lessons, followed by the challenges, it is very easy to follow through and to feel not only comfortable with the knowledge you're getting, but also pumped about moving on to the next lesson. I have loved doing this workshop and I am glad I took this opportunity. I would highly recommend it as it is a great starting point for anyone who would like to get more familiar with Coding. It helps understanding better what coding is and figuring out if this is actually what you thought it was. I love the way it is organised: a small video per topic and a challenge/exercise at the end of each one. In this way it allows you to learn and immediately put into practice what you are studying.

Never thought I would enjoy coding so much. The deadlines and challenges helped me a lot with my motivation. But the videos and explanations were also just really good and easy to understand! I was so curious and excited that I worked through some of the tasks in one day instead of a week.

SheCodes offers a great platform for coding newcomers to build a foundation in the world of coding. Before taking the course I knew next to nothing about coding, and I left the course feeling confident in my abilities to not only understand code, but to write code as well! 100% would recommend to any women out there wanting to learn more about the coding field.

Something that maybe (in my opinion) can be improved, it is to mention or at least giving us some links to understand the basic theory related with these languajes, some basics principles about elements and all that. I have done many courses with different coding course providers, and by far, this is the most effective course I have had together with SheCodes. I have had to opportunity to develop my skills in coding in a systematic and structured way with them. This will pave another direction in my career development.
The introductory 3-week course was exactly what I needed to immerse myself in world that I wasn't completely sure I was ready for. The lessons are truly perfect for a beginner (like myself) and I feel completely energized and empowered to continue my education. I can't recommend this course enough!!!
I found this course very very interesting and I highly recommend it to whoever wants to start digging into programming. It is completely different from other online courses, as many of those are purely "academic", with no direct interaction between student/professor. I also find very important the brainstorm with other students in the course private chat. I missed on this course to have in every HW a challenge and also a super challenge that would "oblige" us to think out of the box and turn things naturally more complex. It would also require some extra work for us!

I learned to code at school, but it had been a while since I stopped. A real pleasure to be able to learn and challenge myself thanks to SheCodes. Simple to understand, clear explications even if english is not your first language. Looking for answers by yourself on websites and not having all the answers was challenging and I loved that !

An excellent introduction to coding! When I started the course I had 0 knowledge in coding, but SheCodes method made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. The hands-on coding challenges allowed me to start coding right the way. I learned a lot during these 3 weeks and I can't wait for the next step on coding!
