This has been an amazing course and I have learned so much in three weeks! I looked forward to every lesson and had a blast completing every challenge.
I am brand new to coding and this 3 week course was a perfect introduction to front-end web development! The lessons are clear and the challenges are highly rewarding. There is great support on slack and I felt like I learned a lot in a short about of time. I would highly recommend to anyone who is new to coding!
I had never had someone explaining things as clear as Matt did during his webinar. Loved the way he teaches! After that I signed up to the course and it is truly straight forward. I highly recommend this to someone that wants to try how the coding works and also to people that are not devs but want to complement their knowledge (like my case as an Analyst).
Really enjoyed every step from begginers class to React. This months past so quickly! At the beginning I wasn't sure if this "coding thing 😆" is for me at all but every lesson gave me more confidence and was so easy to follow and nicely explained. Easy to understand the course and great for beginners. I wish there would be another course between the beginner 3 weeks course and the 8 weeks course. there is too big of a gap between 100 euro and 750 euro. A advanced beginners course would be great in between these 2 courses.

I first enrolled in the SheCodes Workshop and was fascinated with everything I learned and the structure of the lessons. Matt does an excellent job with providing tools for the students to be successful. I enjoyed the experience and highly recommend this course for first-time coders. SheCodes is hands down the best workshop I've come across. Learning the basics was extremely easy, and you are given the resources need if you find yourself stuck. Plus, there are discounts if you are currently a student, which makes it easier to afford while giving you an opportunity to start your coding journey. I made it work as a full-time student, and so can you. You can do it!

Had a great time learning the basics. Definitely is a challenging coarse but the recorded lessons are so useful so I can learn on my own time (while juggling a full time job). Matt keeps it fun!
Rebecca Temerario worked for 12 years in the bookselling and publishing industry as a communications, events, social media, and marketing manager. When COVID-19 hit, her position was unfortunately eliminated. As a graduate of a Master's Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications, Rebecca knew how integral HTML & CSS are to digital marketing concepts such as SEO- and wanted to use her time between opportunities wisely. SheCodes Plus helped me to understand how applications are created! I did not know that APIs such as OpenWeather existed. I've always wanted to code my own application, so it was motivating to code and design a weather application! It was also helpful to expand on HTML, CSS and JavaScript coding skills. While approaching coding as a total beginner can be extremely intimidating, SheCodes made it so accessible and easy to understand. Not only that, this course helped show me how much I truly enjoy coding. If you're new to this like me, I 100% recommend starting with the 3 week workshop!

This course is definitely a great start for me to step into the coding world. The tutorial is easy to understand so it helps me to constantly build up my confidence. I like there is always a challenge after the tutorial video so I do have an opportunity to practice what I have just learned! I would recommend giving a try if you're interested in coding :)

Really loved this workshop! Matt's videos were simple and concise and very informative without giving that feeling of being overwhelmed. The workshop itself was a reasonable price. There were certain "challenges" that were definitely challenges and google becomes your friend, personally I would do a quick google search and MDN offers a solution but rarely a well explain explanation, here comes SLACK. It was a great place for all of us to bounce our ideas off one another and ask for help for challenges, homework, and the project. Very helpful! There's a sense of pride whenever you complete a challenge or homework and I love that. Coding is also very impressive to those who aren't at all into the world of coding, so to show someone your entire code they're completely floored by it all haha! Would recommend this course to anyone interested in coding.
SheCodes was fantastic! It was the perfect balance of learning and practicing with the projects. I was able to balance the workshop with my full-time job and family without any stress!

After completing the 3 week introductory course with SheCodes, I couldn't wait to carry on coding with SheCodes Plus. Overall such an excellent & well thought out course that is really enjoyable, challenging, and without a doubt extremely rewarding! I have learnt so much in a short amount of time and I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to do the same. In SheCodes plus I began to realise the power of what a few lines of code can really do in JavaScript! It is a jump up from the introductory course for sure, but as always the support is amazing. Slack is used through out the course as a way to ask questions with other students and the SheCodes team. I have decided that in 2020 I was going to learn everything I've always wanted. Coding was one of those things. I started with a free course, but it was very complicated and fast, so I gave it up. Browsing through internet, I came across SheCodes and watched the free class. By the end of it I was enrolled in the workshop and started it a few days later. It was the best decision ever. Matt is a great instructor, very available and the course is well thought, it is not difficult and you can really learn and apply it. I can't wait to start the next workshop!

I have really enjoyed learning and creating amazing websites. I would recommend this for anyone to give it a try. All the sessions are easy to understand and the support group is amazing thing to have. This is definitely a skill worth having!
SheCodes is a school with good pedagogy, the courses are well structured and explained. There is a lot of practice such as homework and projects. There are good communication and atmosphere between teachers and classmates. I recommend this coding school if you want to learn well how to code or if you want to deepen your knowledge.
This three week journey has been a great way to introduce myself to coding and coding to myself. I have enjoyed every step of the way, for me it was not easy but it was fun, educational and rewarding. I feel eager to learn more, my mantra became eat, pray, code... ;-)
This workshop has taught me so much about coding that I did not know before. It was very easy to make time throughout the week to complete the lessons and homework. It was something I very much would look forward to doing as well. I was not sure if coding was something I was going to be interested in but I am glad that I signed up for the workshop as it really gave me the time and opportunity to see if it was something I wanted to do.

This SheCodes Beginner workshop was great!!! I liked that it was self-paced so I learned at my own pace/time but that motivated me to stay on top of the lessons weekly. The challenges at the end of the lessons were a good way to put into practice what Matt taught. Overall, I think this workshop is a great place to start and it's definitely peaked my interest in coding. I'm really happy & proud of the page I put together for my final project.

This is a great beginners course to get you started coding. I felt that while HTML and CSS were covered in good detail and very easy to understand, Javascript was not very easy to follow for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my course and will definitely continue coding.

I never coded before and absolutely fell in love with it! This is a workshop that is super useful if you just want to learn more about coding in general. Generally I'm satisfied with the course, however would be better if questions in slack were answered sooner and the course itself covered more information. The first week of the course was quite intense but the 2nd and 3rd ones felt a bit hollow.
This workshop is amazing! The learning structure is very easy to follow with very well paced video tutorials that explain everything step by step and challenges that make you replicate the tutorials to really instill the knowledge in you. Support is there 24/7 if you need it and the coding is taught in a really fun way, I would definitely recommend to anyone, you don't even need that much time set aside for it.
I have thoroughly enjoyed learning how to code so far! I cannot wait to see what else is store on my coding journey. Being a creative person I really liked being able to express myself stylistically and seeing it all come to life in a digital format. The course is very achievable for anyone starting from scratch :)

I like the compact format of teaching basic HTML, CSS and JS concepts in only 3 weeks. It's barely scratching the surface of what you can do with coding, but the diverse challenges after each lesson make it seem like you are learning a lot in a short time.

I made a website from HTML, CSS and even some Javascript. The teaching style is supportive, clear and engaging; I am a hug fan of the way the workshops are structured and the UI. Messaging on slack is painless, and best of all, SheCodes radio. I must have listened to all the songs 4-5x.

The Intro to Coding course was so easy to follow, yet still fun and challenging. I was especially impressed by how problem-solving skills for any issues or new concepts that may come up were subtly built in to each lesson.

My background is in Psychology, project management and psychometric tests and I've always been interested in technology, especially with everything going digital in our current climate. I thought I'd give SheCodes a go, as I've tried other free courses on other sites but it wasn't as interactive and I couldn't get help when I needed. With SheCodes, everything is at your own pace as the videos are bite-sized and you can go back if you need to. However, the homework keeps you accountable. I enjoyed doing the challenges as I prefer learning by doing. The staff and fellow students are really friendly and helpful if you are stuck. Coding might seem scary at first, but it really isn't! If you've been thinking about learning to code, go for this course, it's a great way to learn and build your skillset!
