Very happy to found this courses! In less than 3 weeks I have learned how to actually build something from scratch even if it is very basic. Any time I had problem it was solved quickly on Slack and also I was happy when I could help solving other's problems. I recommend it to anyone, even if you do not want to work in IT it is fun to learn how the web pages work.
SheCodes has provided a highly engaging course, breaking down each element to explain fully and with examples, plus giving access to a supportive network and on-hand guidance when required. I have gained invaluable knowledge to take forward into my career and also the opportunity to consider a fresh start in the world of coding!

I have gone from knowing the basics of HTML to creating my own weather app in the space of 8 weeks. It has been hard work but it has been worth it!

I am a Computer Science student, recently became a Junior at DePaul University. My goal is to become a Software Engineer. I took this SheCodes course because I wanted to learn more about CSS, Html, and JS. The course went by pretty quickly but it was really easy to follow. Thank you to the teachers and peers!

SheCodes React was challenging but great fun from start to finish. Along with the previous workshops I completed I now have three working projects that I can showcase my new skills. This is down to the excellent teaching from Matt, and the support from the rest of the SheCodes team.

I loved the flexibility of this course. Being able to set my own schedule and work at my own pace was one of the reasons I wanted to get into coding in the first place. Mixing art & technical skills was another. So far, I'm absolutely loving what this new career path is giving me--freedom to work wherever, whenever I want, and purpose/drive that is extremely fulfilling for my brain. I'm extremely happy/proud of what I've accomplished so far; Matt's videos are very easy to follow/learn from, and I can't wait to see what's next!
During this workshop I had the chance to discover this new world of coding and doing so, I never felt alone. There was always someone helping if needed and the community was always there to share opinions are exchange tips. Highly recommend taking this workshop! You won't regret it!

I loved this course. As someone who never thought she would get into coding, this course was not only instructive and helpful, but fun. It has opened a curiosity in me and I hope to move on to the next workshops as well.

What a fun way to learn HTML, CSS, and JS. The lessons were short allowing me to absorb the content. The assignments were just tough enough to make me really think, but definitely do-able.

Such a challenge but so worth it. The slack group is amazing to help with any pesky little semi colons you might be missing. Would recommend for anyone that's looking to upgrade their knowledge!

The languages of coding have always seemed like those things that other people knew. But now I can say that I'm part of the club too. SheCodes is great at bringing you into a new world of knowledge and setting you up to learn practically and efficiently, how to code. I really enjoyed the opportunity to think differently and creatively.
SheCodes Plus had its challenging times, but was a fun and satisfying experience! I'm excited to start the next workshop - Responsive!

I've been interested in learning the basics of coding for a while and I'm glad I decided to sign up for SheCodes Basics. I've tried some of the apps available but nothing stuck. The workshop kept me motivated with the small challenges in each week. By breaking the information down into smaller sections I felt like I was able to see my progress in a tangible way.
Seriously, I never thought that one day I'll code !! Each lesson and solution is clearly explained by Matt.No regrets about this workshop, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!
I'm so proud of myself right now, I finally coded the portfolio website that I always wanted and needed. It was challenging, fun and hard work all-in-one, but oh so worth it! The pace, instruction and tools SheCodes provided to learn coding was perfect for my learning style. I am so thrilled to have finished the React workshop. I can boldly say it was time well spent and the skills I have gained I will forever carry. This workshop has taken me from zero ReactJS to confidently able to develop a React Application. I highly recommend it.

I have always wanted to learn to code but finding the time has always been really difficult, therefore, I really enjoyed having support from the SheCodes team on slack. Also, the lessons and deadlines motivated me to set aside time everyday in order to complete the course.
Not gonna lie, creating this app definitely threw me for a loop! But as a creative, being able to work my analytical side of my brain like this is so rewarding and I’m glad this course is designed the way it is. I truly flourished. I can’t wait to be able to design things for other people.

Matt is a great teacher! It is easy to follow along with him because he helps you to understand why a particular code works best. After you turn in your work, you get to watch a video that explains a possible solution. The video also addresses common errors.
