SheCodes Plus was definitely a massive step up from basic but i really enjoyed being challenged and having the satisfaction of a certain piece of code work or actually finding a bug in my code by myself. Although there is still some things that I know I wont be able to do without looking back at my previous work atleast I understand the logic( I hope).
SheCodes was the greatest online course that makes me enjoy the classes all the time! I'm building my knowledge day by day! Thanks, SheCodes Team! I can't wait to begin the next course!
SheCodes is an amazing teaching platform. Matt's teaching techniques are very simple and relevant to the topic which for me as a beginner in coding make sense and I enjoyed coding a lot. Everyone here is so supportive, most of the time when I stuck somewhere I opened the Slack and found the solution. Thankyou SheCodes !
First of all, React is so scary. Everything is confusing, But when you learn that, You can code easier and enjoy coding more than in the past. So, if it is tricky at first, don't be scared. keep a deep breath, do challenges step by step with lesson videos. Search on slack or google if you need new features, then do it. React is easier and more interesting than you think.
This workshop is amazing! Coding looked so complicated and felt so overwhelming when I tried to figure it out myself. This whole experience and teaching made me understand coding on a base level I never would have on my own, this experience gave me the opportunity to learn, experience and do it myself essentially with help. I love the hands on approach and that it doesn't feel like spoon feeding, yet it is laid out so clearly that you completely understand what is going on. I would recommend this platform to anyone I come across
It's been fantastic to learn a new skill which I will definitely consider developing further. SheCodes is presented in a really easy format and allows you to work when suits you. I really like the function on the video's which allows you to adjust the speed at which they playback. The online support provided by slack is a fantastic tool which helps when wanting a solution to move on to the next step at speed.
The React course has been the most challenging and therefore for me, the most enjoyable course on SheCodes so far! It took a while to get my head around components and I had to utalise the extention feature for the first time, but boy was it worth it! My favourite part so far was the Dictionary project - it made a change from weather APIs (explored in the Plus course) and was so call to style in line with a writer I admire - Roald Dahl.
I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop! 👍I started with absolutely zero knowledge on coding or what it entailed and have learnt so much throughout this course- I can't wait to learn more and develop my new skills in the future!
I highly recommend the SheCodes basics course! I had the best time while learning coding basics. Matt's teaching has been great as everything is very informative, useful and clear. I will definitetly carry on with the advanced courses in the future!

SheCodes is very easy to use and everyone is very helpful. I learned a lot fairly quickly and found it easy to navigate once I got the hang of it. Really, really enjoyed SheCodes React, it helped me think outside the box when solving problems and a new insight into a library and how to use it. The dictionary project was definitely my favorite and showed me the variety of things that can be produced with JavaScript. As always the lessons were really well taught and the slack team were there to help whenever I needed it. Thank you!
SheCodes Plus was a great continuation to SheCodes Basic! I would recommend it to anyone who is on the fence about continuing their SheCodes coding journey. It's crazy cool to think that we were equipped with the tools to create our own weather app, something that you can use everyday! After years of putting this off and thinking I wasn't smart enough, or didn't have enough time, I've discovered a new love and career path! Originally signed up due to a recent promotion however, with this new-found knowledge and love for Coding I can't wait to learn more!

This journey was difficult to follow for me because javascript code became so complicated sometimes, but the instruction was really clear in every video., so thank you so much, Matt! He is a great teacher and he teaches us as simple as possible, so even though I confused, I watched the video again and again and found some mistakes that I made or understand the meaning of the code. I would really recommend this to other people who haven't experience this wonderful course.
Taking the SheCodes Basics has been a great experience and has allowed me to find a new interest and hobby which I will definitely explore further! This has been an incredible workshop. I cannot express how much I love Matt's teaching style, each video very clear and not too long, and then the next video building on the concepts you learned before. It meant that even starting with zero knowledge I was able to follow along easily, and quickly got to grips with coding principles - and if I was ever stuck, there was a whole community on Slack to help. I also really liked how SheCodes has a lot of tools you can use, but also how the course taught me how to find the answer elsewhere if I was struggling; useful for any future coding I do! I think this was a great intro or refresher course to the world of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I have a pretty good working knowledge base in HTML and CSS but I've never done any work with Javascript. This course refreshed some skills and helped introduce me into the world of javascript in a beginner friendly fashion. 😁

The basic course was great. It went over the foundational knowledge for html, css and javascript. Would recommend for beginners or those wanting to brush up on their frontend coding skills.
This workshop felt like a great way to reintroduce myself to the basics of coding, and how a few different languages can interact with each other in the same code. I'm also impressed that the workshop focuses on instilling good practices and converting students to industry tools at the right time in a way that makes sense.

The course is very helpful and it won't scare beginners away! I'm glad that I signed up for this. It really intrigues me, making me want to explore more in this field. The deadline pushes me to finish the course in time and it only took me two weeks to finish all courses. The project is interesting and the guideline is clear. It's the very first website I designed and the sense of achievement gained through these two weeks make me feel that I can do this too!

I was afraid of IT word itself. Getting in to it was almost impossible to me. After seeing YouTube advertisement for a year, I finally decided to join workshop. I started SheCodes to see how it feels like as a complete beginner. I must say it is one of the best decision I have made. Since graduating from college in June, I wasn't sure which path I wanted to take in tech. Thankfully, I saw a SheCodes ad on Youtube. Initially, I was introduced to html/css many years ago when I took 2 online courses at a local college; however, for whatever reason I didn't pursue it. I'm happy to have gotten reintroduced to it by taking the SheCodes basic workshop. I forgot how interesting it was. And since I'm a visual learner, I loved learning by watching videos. It made the material easier to understand and the three weeks flew by. Now I have an idea of which direction I want to take.
Most exciting and fulfilling course I ever had! I learned a lot and enjoyed it a lot. I think this is a course that every developer should take, especially because of the great teaching. Matt teaches everything step by step and makes it crystal clear so that I totally understood what was going on. Besides, by doing challenges and homework and projects, I gained valuable experiences in programming. So happy to take this course! And I look forward to what's next!
I enjoyed working with SheCodes very much. The programming videos were easy to understand and study from, it's a very good method when someone needs extra help or explaining time. The tools provided also expanded my view on coding. Although I wasn't sure a few times where exactly did I stand with my projects there was always somebody willing to help. Altough I sense I made some mistakes in my final project, I can say everything was worth it.
When I started SheCodes, I had absolutely ZERO experience/knowledge with any form of coding. I loved the pace and the flexibility of the due dates because life happens. By the end of the workshop I have the base knowledge of what it takes to create a website and I look forward to learning more in the advanced workshops!
I have learned so much in such a small time span. The challenges truly help you hone all those new skills in and practice what you have just learned!
I will be extremely honest... this particular workshop tried my patience. But being able to master Javascript and React was definitely very satisfying. As I move on to other programming languages, I feel pretty well-equipped to take them on. I'm very proud of the weather and dictionary applications I've built, especially since I just started coding in May of 2021. I hope to move on to SheCodes Responsive next and keep practicing/freelancing React in the meantime.

I was a complete beginner when I started SheCodes. SheCodes Plus was very challenging, but it was worth it. I am so excited about everything I have learned. I can't wait for the next class.
Really wonderful experience. I have taken coding classes before, but I loved how often we were challenged to try out new lessons. These challenges built on one another nicely and it was a pleasant surprise that homework consisted of brand new challenges using the skills we had already learned. Often in other classes these assignments build on one another and then your final project is what you have been working on, but this challenged you to start from scratch again and build something new.
I have reinforced many subjects here. I like that they teach you the basics and from there you can continue investigating, but they definitely give you a starting point and many tips.
This SheCodes Plus was actually not easy as SheCodes basics. I had to repeat the videos so many times until I understood what I did not understand. But I found that the more complicated coding problems were more interesting when you solved them!
It was really fun to learn how to write site what will be good looking on the mobile devices! It is really like a magic - you have this on the big screen, but dont have on the small screen, or it is changing on something else! I always thought only really profecional genius developers can do magic like this but now I can too even I'm not a profeccional genius developer. Writing sites what will be good-looking on the mobile devices is really useful in the worls we are living now. So I'm happy I can do this too now! Thank you, Matt!
