What I like about SheCodes is that you can learn at your own pace, Matt walks you through the steps and you can always go back to watch previous videos, you can even take a week off if your feeling overwhelmed or unmotivated. I feel like I've just scraped the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Javascript and I'm excited to learn more.

They don't lie when they say SheCodes is accessible to absolute beginners! Each lesson is extremely clear and precise, Matt makes it easy to follow -not saying that no smoke will come out of your ears at all if you started with no previous knowledge of coding, but I obviously expected it. This is such a great way to learn code! The lessons are short enough to not get bored, but you still learn a lot in those minutes. You get to choose when to work on it, but you still feel enough pressure from the deadlines to continue working. Matt is a great teacher, and you enjoy doing the challenges! I have zero complaints :)
The workshop is fairly paced and broken up into pieces that will help you learn and troubleshoot your code.

Never would I ever have thought that I would be interested in coding but SheCodes made it so fun and enjoyable to learn. I have completely made a 180 on the way I see coding, especially for women. I always thought in order to be a coder you had to be a genius but I have learned anyone can do it if you are willing to put in the work. I have enjoyed these past three weeks of learning and challenging myself to the fullest. I will absolutely be taking what I have learned from this workshop and bringing it with me through the next. I am looking forward to taking the SheCodes Pro workshop. I absolutely recommend SheCodes to anyone interesting in learning to code. As one who has experienced this workshop and wasn't sure how I'd feel about coding, this has changed my entire idea of coding and has given me the opportunity to think of a possible career path.

I loved this workshop, firstly because Matt is an excellent teacher, secondly because React has a very elegant "react-ion". I admit it was quite hard, but the beauty of the result compensated all the efforts.

Coding was for me completely new thema and I was hesitating a bit before I've purchased the courses. After finishing the first one - SheCodes Basics, I can say, that it's really also for complete beginners! Can'´t wait to start the next one :-)
I would highly recommend SheCodes. The lessons are short and beneficial. The way each subject and their lessons are scheduled is very efficient also the homework at the end of each week is both fun and practical. I really enjoyed learning and coding. I genuinely hope more women take this course.

Really enjoyed this gentle introduction in to coding. The videos were informative and got straight to the point but never felt overwhelming. I'm definitely interested in pursuing coding further! I did get stuck in the first week but could see the answer I needed easily in the slack chat which was really convenient. Definitely give it a go!

There were so many helpful and easy to find resources that made it impossible to give up on yourself. I really enjoyed learning this basic coding workshop for the last 3 weeks. All lessons were easy to understand and apply. The challenges take me out of my comfort zone because you could give your own way to solve them and every time you realize you could give more. It was a really good beginning in the path of being a front-end developer, there is a lot to learn and practice it full my expectations because it wasn't boring or just for wise people it was made for all people.

I have recently become a Coding Teacher and I wanted to refresh my knowledge of HTML from my Uni Days. This course is broken down really well into manageable chunks with good explanations. I am so excited to get to the point of being able to use this with my students!
The course is fun, Matt explains really well and the way the assignments work is also very clear. It took me a bit more than the 5hours a week but hey, everyone is different.

great coding experience
This is the third workshop I take at SheCodes and it was very useful. It helped me to understand how responsiveness works, so now I feel much confident about creating nice mobile-friendly web designs. The only reason why I don't give it five stars is that I feel it was too much time considering the difficulty of the matter, and the exercises were kind of repetitive. So it was a challenge to keep me engaged after the third week. Besides that, this is another very good SheCodes workshop that is worth trying!
I enjoyed so much this course, I feel 100% to understand the essentials of HTML, CSS and JS and create interesting and interactive websites or apps. The community is amazing and the experience is totally worth it. SheCodes deserve much credit than it's receiving.
I appreciated how each lesson was broken down into brief and concise lectures and challenges to follow. The amount of information presented between each individual lesson was enough to grasp whilst taking notes and perfecting each solution.
