Building this weather app for SheCodes was a real adventure—full of coding marathons and some head-scratching moments. I wrangled with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and let’s just say there were a few tears along the way. But seeing everything click into place made every challenge worth it. I’m thrilled with the result and can’t wait to put these skills to use in future projects!

Over the past three weeks, I deepened my understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, building on my prior experience in web development. Initially, I revisited HTML to refine my content structuring skills, then delved into CSS to enhance my styling techniques, mastering responsive design with flexbox and grid layout. JavaScript posed the greatest challenge, but I enjoyed learning DOM manipulation, event handling, and dynamic content creation. This journey culminated in a project that I am incredibly proud of a functional, responsive web application showcasing my ability to integrate these technologies effectively. Submitting this project marks a significant milestone in my development journey. It highlights the progress I've made in a short time and boosts my confidence to tackle more complex projects in the future. I am excited about the new opportunities that lie ahead as I continue to grow as a developer.

Loved the Basics Add-on workshop. Experimenting with grids and transitions was fun, and it was super exciting to learn how to make a light/dark theme for a webpage! Very easy to follow along, I learned a lot!!

I had the opportunity to deepen my coding skills and work on a hands-on project. I created a World Clock using Moment.js, which allowed me to apply what I learned in a practical and engaging way. With the help of Matt, the learning process was much easier and more enjoyable.
At first, I was so overwhelmed, but I honestly impressed myself by using the resources that SheCodes provided. With the ever-changing job market, I believe this will open new doors for me and allow me to be greater than what I had previously thought was my future. Thanks SheCodes.

At first, I didn’t think I’d enjoy coding with React as much as vanilla, but as the course went on, I found myself loving it even more. Now, whenever I think about building a new website, I automatically imagine it in a React format. The deeper knowledge I gained in this course has completely shifted the way I approach web development. The final project, where I built a fully functioning dictionary app using multiple APIs, really pushed me to apply everything I’d learned. It felt amazing to bring it all together. This course has made me even more confident in React, and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to take their skills to the next level!

This course was above my expectations. I have already made some unsuccessful attempts to learn web development. I would usually quit because the explanations were not clear enough. However, this course is different as it is clear and concise. The tutorials are correct to the point, especially for JavaScript. I managed to learn a lot from the Basic course only. I will be moving into the more advanced Plus course. I also like the flexibility of deadlines, as sometimes life happens, and it is good that extensions are possible.
Gaining hands-on experience with integrating AI using APIs has enhanced my ability to build more sophisticated and dynamic applications. The course was well-structured, with clear guidance and practical examples that made complex concepts easy to grasp. I now feel confident applying AI integrations in my projects.

Was a good course showing some of the more real world applications of using python for data analysis.
I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop. Having a lesson to watch and then having to complete a challenge forces you to read additional documentation and following along the project was a good learning experience.

Plus was very challenging, it needs for you to focus and go back and do some challenges again so that you may be able to understand, it is a build-up so you cannot miss anything. Overall, it was nice, but I won't lie, it is getting more and more tricky, but hopefully I continue to learn and grow and hopefully figure everything out.
