SheCodes Plus has been very challenging for me. I enjoyed creating this APP. I am excited to continue to my next course.
This React workshop gained me so much knowledge that I thought wouldn't be possible. This is my third course with SheCodes. I am so happy to be part of the students who benefited a lot from the program.Matt is a wonderful instructor. The team of instructors are speedy at answering any questions and resolving any issues that you may run into also! I had a lot of fun building my final Dictionary project.
SheCodes Basics has been a wonderful introduction to the world of coding. I was nervous to start this journey, but Matt's instruction and the help of staff and my peers in the workshop really made everything so easy. I am looking forward to building on what I have learned. Thank you!
“When I was in college pursuing my Bachelors degree in print journalism with a minor in creative writing, I had come across coding and found it very interesting. Once I graduated in 2013, life got in the way specifically breathing (chronic asthmatic) I never got the chance to pursue coding more until now. My breathing is better and once I came across SheCodes I knew this was the place for me. I am excited for this new journey and for the knowledge to come!”

It was very easy to keep up and to have some help if needed! Every concept was broken down perfectly to maintain a fast but in-depth lectures. I learned so much it was really fun to feel like a tech boss.
It feels so good to have been able to create this from scratch. The course structure makes sense and specially loved in the last two weeks to see Matt creating the app in real time.

I've learned so much since I have started my SheCodes journey back in January. SheCodes Responsive was really awesome and I learned a ton. I cannot wait to finish off with SheCodes React. The best part about Responsive is having the final project be a portfolio that I will be able to use once I am ready to start applying to jobs.

Super fun, I really feel like I know the basics of web design now! The short lessons with exercises keep you motivated and practicing!

What a journey! That wasn't easy but that was always fun. The format is perfect: videos are short, every step is cut down easy-to-digest new information & regular interaction with the group & teachers (Slack/homework) really helps with accountability & progress. I'm looking to transition careers but without going back to school. Before the basics workshop I had no experience with creating my own web page but now I can create one from scratch using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I am so happy I found SheCodes Basics and Matt does a terrific job explaining the introductory concepts without babying us, while promoting self exploration.
Wow what a fantastic journey it was learning about coding with SheCodes. If I can learn, you can learn. This is a great beginning course for someone who has no clue what coding is about. I feel confident. I will use what I have learned about coding and teach it to children in my childcare business. I recommend this basic course to anyone wanting to try. The workshops help and the video presentations help a lot. The information is given in many different ways. You will learn to code if you complete the assignments. I love coding! I will take more courses.

I really, really enjoyed this course. It is quite challenging at times, and I can't deny there were times where I was really stuck and frustrated, but the course staff were so supportive and helpful, and helped me to see where I went wrong. I highly recommend this course, and I'm so shocked that I made such an impressive app. It's something that I never thought I would be able to do! The challenging times are worth it, because they really help you to grow. I strongly recommend this course, as you will learn, get the chance to be creative, and create something you are proud of in a happy, supportive environment.

I was not sure if coding will be something I will enjoy or even understand a little. Nevertheless I was intrigued by the idea. After 2 years of wondering I finally decided to try it. And 2 weeks into the Basics workshop I realized that I truly enjoy it. Hopefully I will be able to turn it into a career in near future 😊

I came across SheCodes this time last year and did the free introduction course. Happy to say I came across SheCodes again and the timing was right! Matt makes learning to code easy to understand and not intimidating. There's so many coding resources here like the gradient tool and even the radio is pretty sweet 💜. I also like having the homework and deadlines, it keeps me on track 🙌
Enjoying the course so far
While I am excited and thankful for the final weather app project, I believe that the Week 04 and 05 modules should be retooled. There is much to learn about JavaScript and it feels as though those two weeks in particular for Plus are too dense and could easily be broken into two sections each. If SheCodes could also experiment with how they display lessons, this would be beneficial for those that learn in different ways. Showing VSCode constantly while building the code but not showing how facets like different JavaScript rules or CSS declarations flow into each other became confusing in some instances. There was also a discrepancy in recording volume between the weeks and even modules within each week so sometimes it was difficult to hear Matt's instructions. The Team that works on Slack to answer questions and give guidance continue to be informative and empathetic, to which I am grateful. A cool piece to build, the overall presentation and class flows could use some updating.
Another amazing and fun coding course completed from SheCodes!! I enjoyed it so much even the challenging moments. The team really supported me along the way, can't thank them enough : ) specially Joao and Bruno
I loved this course so much. I've done so many different, "self-paced" coding courses, and not a single one of them compared to this. Everything was made so clear, and the fact that I was able to do a final project like this, from scratch, is beyond me. I have no words to express how thankful I am for SheCodes

Great intro workshop for beginners.
I had a lot fun in the basics workshop. It was exciting to be able to build a page after just 3 weeks!
I tried a variety of coding classes over the course of a year. I can confidently state that the technique is fantastic and allows you to track your progress in a very articulate way. I am a lawyer with no prior coding experience, and I believe I have learned a lot. Fighting to narrow the gender gap is critical; by gaining these skills, we are all encouraging girls and women into the tech.
Really enjoyed this! It was a big learning curve but I loved all the problem solving and creating I got to do.
React is not easy to understand, but with Matt it is fun and one can easily follow his instructions. Even if we only covered the tip of the iceberg, this workshop shows what is possible and makes curious of more.
I enjoyed it so much! I highly recommend this course, it will open new opportunities for your professional growth.
I just finished the basic course and learned how to use HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I was glad and as a proud mom of my finishing project. The videos were simple and clear to understand and Matthieu Delac is a great teacher. looking forward to the next level on SheCodes. 🤩

I've had so much fun during this course. It was certainly tricky to create the right codes sometimes, but if it wouldn't be a bit challenging I wouldn't learn and become a better developer. Matt is very pedagogical and explains everything very well, which makes it easy to understand. I totally recommend this course to everyone who is interested in learning how to code!

I found the progressive lesson format very accessible and user friendly. Mat breaks down the languages into bite-sized easy to understand videos and challenges.
This course was very easy to understand. I have never done coding before and from afar, felt it to be intimidating. How Matt taught it and built the knowledge up from the foundational skills was smooth and easy to understand. This is course is great for anyone who would like to keep their full-time job and learn a valuable skill on the side.

I am very surprised how easy and fun it is to learn coding with this course. The courses give you very detailed explanations, are easy to follow, and aren't boring like other courses. And there's more. You can ask a question in Slack, where you have support. They also have a live support team in Slack. It's great. I highly recommend it to women who want to learn coding. The SheCodes workshops were easy to follow along with, even if they took longer than the five hours a week at times. I learned a lot and I'm glad there were a lot of resources I can use in the future.

I started my journey with SheCodes having zero knowledge in coding but already feeling like a pro after finishing the SheCodes plus workshop. I didn't expect to learn all this within this shot period of time. I feel ready for the job market 😎🦾.

The SheCodes Responsive workshop was the final workshop for me to take and I again really enjoyed it, combining all knowledge of previous workshops to build my own portfolio. I loved learning more about coding!
I would highly recommend SheCodes to every woman, whatever nationality. At this course age is not an issue, whether you are 15 or 60. As promised this is basic, step by step course for beginers and women only. You can learn when you have a free time, there are no rigid time frames, though there are deadlines. Expect hard work and frustration, but in the end it pays off.
It has been an intense journey for me, however, it is a very interesting world to discover and I am sure that it will get easier and easier with practice, like everything in life! Looking forward to the next step and becoming a great front-end developer!

Grad student not sure what to do about future career. I have been pursuing coding on and off for years, but I decided to really pursue coding by completing SheCodes basics. Now with SheCodes basics, hopefully this will open doors for me to work in high tech.
That was by far the most challenged I've felt since graduating university! But with my newfound coding knowledge, I feel ready to make a career switch, and I'm so excited for what the future holds :)
SheCodes has completely changed my previous perception about coding. The workshop is structured in a way that is approachable and easy for students to understand the fundamentals about coding with good exercises to practise what you learn. There is also a great community out there where the SheCodes' team is quite responsive to your questions and you can also interact with other students and help out each other. I found myself spending more time in practising what I've learnt and I am eager to learn more. And most importantly, I have a lot of fun throughout the process!

I have struggled with learning code for a while now. I came to learn about SheCodes and decided to give it a try. My love for technology and what it brings forth has been drive. The courses at SheCodes are sectioned into small and very clear videos and after every class we have a challenge giving one a chance to put into practice what they learnt. That has been really fun, quenching my thirst for learning coding and at the same time keeping me curious about what the next lesson has to bring forth. My coding skills have really improved and i believe this is the begin of something great and I am happy and grateful to SheCodes.
