Absolutly loved and enjoyed every session and challenge. I can't believe that someone like me with no experience nor prior knowledge managed to understand coding. I was actually looking forward on daily basis to every challenge. Thanks Matt for making this so much fun and for explaining everything so thoroughly and simplicity!
I enjoyed learning on SheCodes, it was challenging but I liked how I gained new skills and was able to make a website with the step-by-step explanation of all the videos provided. This is a great way to embark your journey on becoming a professional web developer, I highly recommend it if you are a complete beginner and new to coding!
I retired last year from Bank of America and was looking for something to keep my mind active. What I found in this workshop is a possible path to a new career. After 2 weeks I feel I have a good foundation to build on and am looking forward to SheCodes Plus and beyond.

I really enjoyed coding. Sometimes it was a bit of a challenge, but I am very proud, that I've pushed through. Now I can say that I finally coded my own weather app.
My experience with SheCodes was great and I was able to learn so much more than I thought. Matt is a great teacher and the SheCodes team is the most supportive team I have ever worked with! I would encourage everyone to give SheCodes a try.
This workshop was both challenging and exciting. The times I came up with my own solutions to the bugs in my code really made me feel like a legit coder! All thanks to the tips Matt gives in every video. And when I couldn't figure them out, the instructors on slack were readily available to help. I may not feel like a pro, but I certainly don't feel like a beginner anymore either. Definitely worth it!

I've always hesitated to try to learn code because it seemed daunting and something I did not know I would enjoy. However, with SheCodes, I've found a new appreciation for learning languages such as Java and HTML. This program and the team behind it are full of people who are always more than happy to help you through your work and adjust if you fall behind. I have a busy schedule as a current student but following the SheCodes program never proved to be a hassle to finish nor a strain on my ongoing schoolwork. I love this program and it is a decision I will continuously thank myself for following through with. I cannot wait to keep going.
I completed SheCodes Basic back in August and finished wanting more. I finally decided to continue learning and began SheCodes Plus at the beginning of this year. I am eager to continue learning and seeing progress each week.

A much more advanced course that thoroughly covers React. Make sure you join the Slack channels as APIs can change, and the team is very quick to provide helpful answers on how to adjust your code to these changes if you can't figure it out yourself. Very supportive community.

Hello world! I just wrapped up my course with SheCodes and enjoyed learning the basics of coding. This course gives great insight and helps you understand why you are doing what you're doing. The projects were challenging and a lot of fun, it allowed me to learn more about JavaScript, HTML, CSS and VS Code. Happy coding!
It was an incredible introduction to coding! Matt is an awesome instructor! It had its challenges but going back to video instructions and the possibility to search for the answers helped a lot. Plus being able to consult on slack was a saver for my final project 😊

Great introduction to coding!! Matt is a great instructor, he teaches in a way that leaves you confident about the information you're learning. INSTANT switch from that "can I do this?" mindset to "I can TOTALLY do this!" It had it's moments but I loved the challenge and learning something new.
It's been great learning how to code from Matt. I feel like I've learned more from Matt than from some of the coding courses that I had to take for university. The weather app has been really fun to learn (frustrating at times) but I look forward to going back to learn it again from Matt and personalizing my weather app better for my portfolio. I truly recommend anyone who is interested in coding or wants to be better at it. I am booked in for the SheCodes Plus React next and I cannot wait already! Thanks so much, Matt and his team!

The main thing I've learnt here is that anyone can learn to code. I look back and I'm amazed at all I've learnt since I started SheCodes. I couldn't recomend it more. The pace is perfect lo learn from complete beginner.
As a beginner coder, this course was great for me to get stuck into the world of coding. You are not only able to learn when and where you like but you also have several accountability partners that are willing to push you along the way. Matt speaks clearly throughout all videos to ensure you understand all topics covered.
I started SheCodes basic as a complete beginner with absolutely no idea about codes, but after completing basics, I can proudly say I am at an higher level that where I started.
This is such a great workshop to take if you want your websites to look good on smaller screens. I loved the videos as we built a multi-page website together. I learned what a good work process is like and it helped me develop my own work style.
React was definitely the most challenging of my SheCodes workshops, but I am happy to be leaving with two projects I can be proud of. SheCodes has taken me from a person with literally no coding experience to someone who can't wait to get home and work on coding.
What an experience! SheCodes is challenging in all the right ways and offers tons of support. Eight months ago I knew maybe 1-2 pieces of code and I am coming out the other end feeling pretty boss, and ready to take on another coding challenge.
I finally started what I have been eyeing for so long and it did not disappoint. It's been rather exciting creating something, fiddling with the code, trying to figure out what went wrong and discovering new ways of achieving things. It's been a fun adventure I am looking forward to the next course.
SheCodes Basics is perfect for complete beginners! The teacher, Matt, explained everything easily and interestingly to people who are new to the language of coding. The SheCodes community and team were fantastic, and you could ask questions and receive help quickly. Also, the workshop structure was excellent as it allowed you to work and complete the challenges at your own pace but still within the weekly deadlines to ensure accountability. I would highly recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to learn how to code!

I have known about coding not a few long time ago, however, I have been curious about it since then. After I got to know about shecodes and I took an opportunity. It has been fun, a challenge, and inspiration since I started. Now that I finished the first part, it inspired me to enhance my knowledge of coding.

I’ve learned a lot on SheCodes Plus Workshop. I had so much fun building Web application. I can not wait to continue learning and build more projects! Nevertheless, I’m starting to realize that girls can do anything a guy can do.
I have been loving the journey so far. I do have some experience with html, css and Javascript. I love that the courses uses videos with bite size lessons to complete with one project at the end of each module. I started a front end bootcamp and it was way over my head with a lot to complete in a weeks time. This course has given me to much more confidence that I can do this!
I have rediscovered a passion for coding, long lost since my elementary days. It's amazing how quickly you can grasp the concepts with the way Matt has organized the information and practical exercises! 🙋♀️
