Used to alter the code in my blogs when I was 14, but never knew I would be pursuing it again almost 10 years later! I have learned more in these past 3 weeks than I ever have before! I am so grateful for this program, and the way it empowers women to take a stand in a predominantly male workplace.

SheCodes Advanced Python took my coding skills to the next level. Building on the basics, this course delved into more complex topics like data structures, algorithms, and APIs. The projects were challenging yet rewarding, giving me the confidence to tackle real-world programming tasks. The in-depth tutorials and hands-on coding challenges really pushed me to think critically and problem-solve like a true developer.
Really enjoyed the course. Great introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The instruction is really clear and I really enjoyed the teaching style. I think Matt is a great teacher and makes things easy to understand. Looking forward to taking on the plus course next!

I've done many courses and what I like about SheCodes is the balance of concept explanation and practice. It is really enjoyable to follow along if you are willing to try your own thing here and there. Especially with Python, I feel there are a lot of courses that don't actually make you feel like you are building something which can be discouraging for many people. If you did the JS/React courses, some concepts will be familiar and you probably will get it faster how to work with Python.
Indeed, I would recommend SheCodes anytime to anyone, especially to people with busy schedules. It was a fantastic learning journey and an awesome experience.
It was nice challenges and it really can be used in every life even for yourself at home. Hope to learn even more in the future.

This AI add-on workshop was an excellent learning experience. I am able to explored AI tools and platforms, and I have gained insights into how they can be integrated into existing systems to enhance functionality and efficiency. The interactive sessions, coupled with practical exercises, allowed me to apply theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios, solidifying my understanding and boosting my confidence in using AI technologies. Overall, the workshop was well-organized and highly informative.
I'm nervous but EXCITED to start this new journey in the tech/ web development field. Ever since the MySpace days, coding interested me. I didn't know it was coding at the time, I was just updating my profile with cool pictures and graphics. I know it won't be easy but I'm ready for the challenge. Can't wait to see what the future holds!
This has been one of my favorite projects to work on. I love graphs and data so I truly enjoyed this. I went through phases working with Python. I was so excited to start, then had moments of doubt, but in the end, I loved it. Matt make learning Python super fun and enjoyable. Python was a language I wanted to learn, and didn't want to just watch a tutorial and not know what I was doing, so I was super excited to see SheCodes had a Python Basics and Advanced. I am excited to use my new skills more and build more projects with Python.

React is no joke. I would say this was the hardest weeks to learn overall. I had to look at other resources to grasp more of an understanding. Worth while none the less.

I started learning SheCodes Basics on the 10th of June, it had HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I found CSS a bit challenging but the AI tool Athena and the Slack channel was helpful.

I really enjoyed the Python Basics workshop. Python is more intuitive to me than other languages, and Matt does a great job of explaining the first steps!
I always come back to SheCodes when I need to build some confidence. The bitesize steps make learning so much fun. I use a LOT of Matt's tips in my coding day job, the industry perspective is so valuable. Another very positive experience :)

As a SheCode student, I was looking for ways to incorporate my coding skills into meaningful projects. Discovering the Sustainable Living website was a game-changer! Not only did it inspire me to make more eco-friendly choices, but it also gave me a fantastic idea for a project. The Sustainability Score Quiz was both fun and educational, showing me how small changes can have a big impact. The site's design and functionality were impressive and aligned perfectly with the skills I'm learning at SheCode. It's amazing to see how technology can drive positive change. I loved creating my first AI implementing website. I learned a lot about AIs and how exactly to embed and use them. Highly recommend this course.
I loved that everything was explained step by step with very practical and easy to understand examples to see straight away how to use the code in real life and it was always followed by a short challenge to practice the new knowledge. The course is very well structured, learning everything step by step to be able to build or own weather app at the end of the course. I found it super useful that Matt showed us how to search for something if we don't know or if we don't remember and that he didn't remove from the videos if he made mistakes. This gave an insight into how developers are working in real life and makes it less stressfull to learn as it's ok if the code doesn't work for the first time (but we know how to fix it).

In 2017, I had a brief introduction to coding, which sparked a strong interest in the field. However, life's circumstances, especially financial constraints, always seemed to stand in the way. Although I received a bursary to pursue a BCom degree, it lacked a technical focus. This React workshop I must say, has been a challenging yet incredibly rewarding experience. I've faced numerous obstacles, but these challenges have only deepened my understanding and appreciation of React. One of the highlights for me was the hands-on project.
