I thoroughly enjoyed the React Add-on workshop where I learned invaluable skills in integrating diverse APIs. Creating a dictionary and utilizing multiple APIs within a React app was particularly insightful. The hands-on experience and clear explanations made it easy to grasp complex concepts.
I found SheCodes in 2020, I didn't apply for it because I thought I would not like web development and I am pretty busy. Fast forward, to this year 2024, I chose to try it out, I applied for the SheCodes foundation and thanks be to God I got in! When I 1st saw the ad for SheCodes and listened to the free coding class video, I was immediately intrigued. When I started to take the class, it was very overwhelming on my 1st week,and I wanted to quit, but then I reviewed the videos over and over and now it doesn't seem as overwhelming, it does take time and practice but I am happy that I jumped in and stuck with the class.

I've been studying Front End development with SheCodes since early 2024 and it's a lot of fun. The method used by Matt Delac is structured by learning sequence, so progress is gradual and lasting. As an Education Sciences student, I'm also fascinated by online learning methods, and this one is particularly effective. The Responsive workshop was so captivating that it was impossible not to stop coding. It's incredible to be able to build your portfolio on your own.
