SheCodes Basics
I highly recommend to the SheCodes. I didn't know that SheCodes before and coding is not known similarly. I know that people write websìte. But these skills that I couldn't afford so I thought before. From the Basics SheCodes Class I learned HTML, CSS and Java scripts as Coding tools and techniques . The teacher's courses are very good which are full of video lessons. After attending the Basics SheCodes Class, I became confident that I could do it. So I really thanks a lot to Teacher and the entire SHECODES Team.
A great workshop to learn more about manipulating dates and time in JS and getting extra practice while building a new project. Brill 😎
I am glad to have started on this journey, I am learning everyday and I realize that the possibilities or creative ideas in coding are endless. If you can think or imagine it, you can find a way to code it. I am having fun while learning a new skill 😁.
Good introduction to how to use AI in conjunction with an api and a nice build of skills from the weather app. Can think of differing uses for this in following projects.
I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basics course - A great course structure which takes you through the essentials of HTML, CSS and Javascript. I did find that in week 1, I needed far longer than 5 hours to complete it (I completed the course part-time). However, this is entirely subjective, and I found by week 2, I started to complete the tasks much more quickly. Would definitely recommend the course 💜
I had so much fun working with AI in this workshop. Thanks to SheCodes I now understand how to incorporate AI as a tool in my coding. This has been one of my best workshops ☺. Highly recommend!

Plus add-on has been a great workshop to do, even though it was challenging everything was explained step by step. Being able to create something more complex has been a great learning experience and with SheCodes it was easy to understand what needed to be done and how it is done.

Great little project dealing with times and dates and the use of moments.js. Good for building upon the javaScript learning from the previous unit in a different context.

When I first started I was a complete coding beginner, I couldn't even write a line of code but with SheCodes' expert guidance and supportive learning environment, I've made incredible progress. I can now confidently create my own projects and understand the fundamentals of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It was an easy-to-follow approach which made learning a breeze. What an excellent starting point, I highly recommend SheCodes!
As a beginner with no IT background, the course was not that difficult, but it was very challenging especially JavaScript since the lesson are not that in depth but with a bit of practice some lessons were enjoyable to do. The course really does lay a foundation.
The React workshop really helped me bring my coding to the next level. This workshop has definitly helped me gain more confidence in my coding abilities and I am amazed at what I am able to achieve now. This workshop was quite challenging at the start but by the end I was feeling quite confident. Matt was an awesome instructor as always and is very thorough in explaining the concepts.
This week's course was very rigorous but I learned a lot. I cant wait for next weeks course.

It took me so long to get started, at some point I really gave up, and then always delayed to continue as it was really hard to start over when I almost finished. Now I know that you need to practice almost everyday to upkeep your knowledge and confidence. This time I won't give up.

I enjoyed learning more advanced Javascript. And, I liked that the project gave you bonus challenges to add items to your code. These items are attributes you may have just been introduced to. Overall, this was a very engaging project.
I have completed my SheCodes Responsive Add-on project! Creating a website on women in gaming was an empowering experience. I loved diving into advanced CSS and HTML tools. Choosing this theme was particularly meaningful, as it celebrates diversity and representation in the gaming industry. This journey has been both educational and inspiring, and I'm excited to apply these skills in future projects.

I received my PhD in Biological Engineering, and half way through my program I realized I was more interested in software but within Biotech. Since then I have been finding ways to learn how to grow my technical skills, as transition my career. SheCodes is an amazing resource and Matt does an amazing job with lessons, as well as providing resources. The community that SheCodes have created makes me excited to continue my growth and journey.

Despite this course being more challenging compared to the Basic and the Basics Add-on courses, I thoroughly enjoyed becoming more confident and creative with the final project. Matt is an amazing teacher, and I cannot recommend SheCodes enough if you want to get into coding.
This was a really fun workshop! Learning how to integrate AI with API is very complex, but seeing the end-result makes all of it worth it. A very comprehensive review of Javascript fundamentals carefully taught with relevant scenarios. It was fun learning version control and hosting with Netlify! Learned a lot of concepts that I am excited to practice with.

Continuing my coding journey through SheCodes AI Add On was exactly what I needed to give me the building blocks for using AI in my existing sites and applications. The course is a great way to learn how to integrate AI Apis and use them to create powerful functionalities.
React was a challenge for sure, and I did learn a lot and enjoyed the results at the end. I do want to point out (and that's the reason I'm not giving 5/5) that in this particular workshop (React) I felt that the lessons were taught with language and concepts that we haven't heard before but like we were familiar with them already, and I had to have Google and Youtube open separately and learn things there at the same time, which I felt should be included on the paid course. Othen than that, learned a lot.

It took me longer than I expected with these workshops as it is quite a challenge for me, understanding how javaScript works but I did really enjoy the process of learning and the final result when all of the functions working properly and I can finally see my project online 🥳 Big thank to Matt for the great instructions and sheCodes team assisting when I got a bit stuck with my code 🙌🏾
I had no experience with coding before taking the basics course. Now, I feel like I can at least speak the basics of the language, and I am definitely noticing new things when I visit websites.
NEVER GIVE UP! It was a very interesting project. When I was having a hard time, or when I was getting discouraged, I would play the video again and Matt would say, “Watch it! This is fun! Enjoy it.” And it worked. Thank you for these wonderful days in which I coded. Now this is a real passion for me. You taught me that everything complex can be broken down into parts. And everything will work out in the end! Thank you!
To be honest, I did not know what to expect when I started my first day. Every lesson has something new and exciting. As a creative, having to build something from scratch has to be the highlight of my day! Everyday! I am forever grateful for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

This first workshop was quite educational and above all I found it entertaining, the challenges of each class along with the homework and the final project were a challenge but without a doubt I learned a lot, I am excited to continue learning.
