Thankful to SheCodes for the opportunity to learn a lifelong skill. I came into the workshop with no prior experience and I'm proud of myself for how fast I have been able to learn it. It was challenging at the beginning but the lessons were easy to understand. I also loved the live support given whenever I got stuck. I'm looking forward to SheCodes Plus!!

For me, this was the hardest workshop out of the four - React is a really cool program but it takes a lot of focus and work to understand and be able to work with it. At times it can be frustrating, but when you resolve and issue it is then even more rewarding. I really enjoyed the course and would highly recommend it!

I work in publishing and because I love languages, I've always been curious about coding but never really found the right moment to learn. I decided to do the SheCodes Basic course while on maternity leave and really enjoyed the flexibility and the way each section of the course is divided into short, easily digestible chunks. I found coding to be unexpectedly creative and would definitely consider it if I decided to change my career in the future.

I really like how the courses are built. They are truly bite sized, easy-to-follow and from topic-to-topic it gives you the sense of achievement that keeps you going even if you have to re-watch the actual topic a few times to feel totally confident about it. I also really like that anytime we got stuck we get the needed support on Slack in a timely manner.

I thought the course was very compact and gave you enough info to decide if this is something you want to keep pursuing. The first week was definitely the hardest but I felt proud of myself each time I figured something out that I was struggling with. I am looking forward to moving onto the Pro course next.

This was by far one of the most challenging tasks I've taken on in quite some time. I have learned so much in the past few weeks about HTML, CSS, and Javascript. First, SheCodes pulled me in with a free introductory class, the breadth of leaders who fill this community kept me engaged, and the user-friendly interface kept me going to complete my first coding workshop!! I am beginning my 2-year graduate program in foreign policy and was seeking a pathway toward a creative and flexible side hustle. This was definitely it! I am so glad I found SheCodes; on to bigger and better things with all that I've learned!
It was definitely a brain tester but overall it was an amazing experience. It took me a bit longer than usual but I am glad to have taken my time and to have the help of SheCodes and other students help me along the way. This was a fun and exciting journey and I cannot wait to join the next classes SheCodes has to offer. With the new experience I hope to come back and put more into my weather app as this is just the beginning. Thank you for opening my eyes and heart into coding I cannot wait to make this a career of mine one day. So during a short break from my graduate program this summer (I'm in a clinical mental health counseling program) I decided to take this workshop because it's been something that's always intrigued me. I am so glad I did! And seriously considering changing careers after I graduate. That being said, I will be moving forward with the second and third level workshops as well. I am thrilled I took this opportunity with SheCodes and I'm very excited to continue my journey with them for a while longer! 😄

I would highly recommend SheCodes to learn anything about coding. Whether you need it for your career or just a new hobby, the entire system is laid out really well and I really appreciated that we had to practice everything that we learned. This course really opened my mind that everybody can try something new and if you will try hard and you like it, you will finally succeed. There are lots of things ahead to learn, but I can see the list of them now and at least I can create a plan☺.
Exciting and practical experience! To see a multi-page website that you can build by yourself - is an awesome feeling! From workshop to workshop you can see the growth of your own knowledge and skills, but at the same time, you understand how much you do not know and what a long way is in front of you.

I really enjoyed this course! I think it's great for people like me who are not able to concentrate for a really long period of time. The lessons were short and easy to understand, while the little coding projects were really fun. This is the first course that I actually ever finished, and let me tell you I learned a lot of new things. I really recommend this workshop to people who want to try something that sparks their creativity while also teaching them new things.

The SheCodes Plus program was not easy, but very exciting and interesting. I wanted to implement every function and I managed to create a first working project )))
Although challenging at times, this was an amazing way to dive into learning how to code. I would feel overwhelmed at times but I always ended up understanding how to do it every time. I got to know SheCodes through a friend, Sandra, who shared her enthusiasm for the course.
