After two years of studying international relations, I understood that this is not the career I would like to pursue. I have always loved IT classes back in high school, so I feel like SheCodes is an excellent start on my way to the job of my dream.
Everything is explained in very clear and systematic way. I am very satisfied. It has been quite intense with lot of new things to learn. I got general idea, and understand how code has been built when I watched the video, but I am not sure would I be able to do it by myself from beginning. It would take lot of practicing. In this step I have realized this is just beginning of learning coding.
It is a wonderful challenge for everyone! Lessons captivate you from the first second ! I am very excited !Highly recommend the course. And want to say thank you so much for the whole team for your support and believe in us!

Simple and clear
This has been one of my favorites! Always challenging but loved being able to practice the things I've learned in the previous workshops and learn new things guided by Matt.

This course is designed with flexibility in mind. As we know, women are often the default caregiver in their families. The easy-to-use extensions process made it possible to respond to my family’s and my own needs without sacrificing my professional development.
I can't believe how much I've learned in such a small space of time with SheCodes Plus. A great course done in a really accessible way to help those understand the basics of JavaScript.
There is nothing more important than the basics! I was happy to learn about these topics with Matt, and I enjoyed the exercises. In addition, I found the resources and links super valuable for each lesson.
I love how flexible and easy to understand each lessons were. The challenges were complex enough to get you frustrated but once you understood the solution, it builds your confidence.
I really enjoyed learning the basics of JavaScript, HTML and CSS with SheCodes. The way that the material is explained by the instructor is so easy to understand and the team as well as the community are always ready to help you if you are stuck or in need. This last workshop (React) was a tough one. But when you get the hang of it, it becomes a lot of fun. I would definetly recommend SheCodes, because it gives you a great roadmap to learn pretty advanced techniques. I have learned a lot and had fun while doing it. This is a great introduction to the world of coding to see what it is about for me as a healthcare worker. It definitely sparked interest to continue this journey. The program is interactive and manageable to learn lesson by lesson. Not overwhelming like some of the other courses. Love that there is a community of shared interests.

SheCodes has allowed me to understand the basics of web development. The videos and resources provided were easy to understand and follow along with. The support system via Slack has been amazing! If you're thinking of signing up, just do it. It's by far the most affordable option I've found online and I don't regret signing up.
Matt is amazing at explaining and very clear, that it makes it very easy to follow along. I was really nervous in taking an online class instead of physically going. But after taking this class and all the convenience given, I see I have made the right decision. And am very excited to keep continuing.

Personally, I find SheCodes React was the most challenging lesson especially the Dictionary App Project. But, the beauty in this is that there's always a room for learning and improving your skills. I always feel motivated to find the solutions for each challenges given in the lessons and aim to provide a creative and user-friendly app . I thank Prof Matt and SheCodes Team to make this a wonderful learning journey for me. SheCodes is definitely a fun startup for those who are keen to learn coding. 😊😎👍

I've tried to start learning to code several times, including in university. None of it ever seemed accessible to me. This course very much helped me see that not only was coding not dry and uninteresting, but could be creative and fun!
Once again, I'm very happy with this workshop and also with my final project! All the lessons are very easy to follow, and the project is very motivating. I highly reccomment this workshop to anyone who wants to learn to code!

Doing SheCodes Basics has sparked a fire in me I didn't know existed. After having my daughter a little over a year ago, I felt that I lost my spark for creativity, but that all came back when I started learning to code. This course has helped me improve my understanding of JavaScript, which is the coding element that I was struggling to wrap my head around. I feel really proud of my final project and would never have thought I would be able to build, having only learnt to code for such a short time. I found more confidence in using Visual Studio Code, CodeSandBox, Git and GitHub, and I also found the SheCode team very helpful on slack if I needed guidance. I'm now looking forward to the following two courses.
This training was incredible! At first, I was very intimated at the thought of coding, I never understood what I was looking at. But after enrolling in this course, I have learned so much! I truly want to thank Matt and his team, for the creativity in the assignments, and providing an overall fun experience. Woohoo! I did it. 👩🏾💻💜🚀 I passed and completed my coding course and I’m so happy. I haven’t looked at coding since studying it briefly 7 years ago at uni, so it’s safe to say I needed a refresh. I took the course to improve my digital design skills as this is the field I love and thrive in. I’m a very visual learner and this course was built in a way to take in information that is quite complex in a super engaging and interactive way. I had an amazing time learning with SheCodes. It was a bit hard but really fun at the same time to try to make the website responsive on any device. Personally I liked the part where I follow the portfolio design and build the website exactly looking the same. It is definitely trials and errors but you will have fun coding and feeling accomplished at the end of the day:)

SheCodes is a very approachable way to stay in the code or learn code for the first time. Matt is seriously a great teacher - he explains concepts very clearly, simply and with repetition which is so helpful. I love the mission and the inclusive pace of the course.
I really enjoyed the SheCodes React workshop. It was challenging in the best way possible and made me feel much more confident in my programming skills - and seeing how I can expand them further.

This was a great 3-week course to get to grips with the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript! Somewhat challenging at times, but not frustrating. I really liked how the course was paced and explained, and the fact that I could reach out to other students if I got stuck.
I really enjoyed the course. It was challenging enough, but without being overwhelming. It helped to boost my knowledge. I look forward to taking another course in the future.
