The last three weeks have been great. I have wanted to learn coding for a while and SheCodes is certainly delivering. Started off with 0 knowledge and in 3 week i already feel like a Star! It is not easy on the first days as everything is foreign, with so much to grasp but the teacher/instructor Matt is exceptional in simplifying hard concept. Making the exercises here is slightly stressful although I'm working the whole day and attending BootCamp at night. So if I can't make it run smoothly it makes me sad. While i've worked with HTML for a long time, I never learned how to sit down and write it. The lessons were very clear, not overwhelming, and did not just "give" the answer. Some required some digging and trial and error. I feel like I learned a lot in jus the basics course and I am excited to move on to API!
This was a 10/10 workshop!
My motivation was to be able to create my own web pages, but I felt overwhelmed by the amount of information there was to learn. As the course progressed, I faced challenges, especially with JavaScript concepts. However, the moment I managed to get my first interactive web page working was incredibly rewarding.
Learning how to make my very own portfolio was really an amazing feeling, Matt and his team are the best especially when I was stuck on something. I really had fun creating this portfolio and I can't wait for more even though it will be my last one but I'm excited.
