I had never really done any of this before and it was surprising how fun it became. The videos were easily digestible and in combination with slack I felt like I was easily able to answer any questions I had that came up! I built a webpage, how crazy cool is that?!
The course needs more in depth explanations of why the instructor is making certain choices instead of the phrase "trust me" which is used many times. For the price, I feel the course should offer a lot more information on how React actually works, currently it seems that it is a very "copy what I do" style of teaching which in the long run is not helpful for aspiring devs.
Another really fun project finished. All though the portfolio will be a work in progress in the coming time too. Like I've said before, I really enjoy learning to code through SheCodes! I will continue to the next project and definitely recommend this training.

The only coding workshop that understands the flexibility. I am allowed to change the submission deadline for the weekly projects and it is so convenient for working mom like me. Well done shecodes team!

I had a really good time learning, it was fun and not stressful. The extensions made it easier as I came across some hurdles on the way. Matt made it very easy and I always looked forward to doing the challenges.

SheCodesBasics is great to get the ball rolling with the foundations of the web. It's very concise, teaching you the right amount of information needed to create static pages and adding basic functionality with JavaScript. Highly recommend for beginners.

SheCodes Plus was an amazing journey. I was having fun and enjoying building weather app. Everything I've learnt so far just clicked; I was able to debug my code, analyze it and sometimes even write the codes without going over the videos first. Even with a basic knowledge of front end coding under my belt, I was able to learn a lot of new things. The class and projects are challenging yet fun and the Slacks team and my classmates helped me a bunch when I struggled with a code. Instead of overextending myself, I kept my codes simple like Matt suggested which ultimately helped me not overcomplicate my code and stress myself out.
It was not easy, but very interesting workshop. Thanks to the SheCodes team for their help in solving problems!

After finishing SheCodes Plus I feel much more confident looking into the code and trying to produce it myself. It's still definitely a lot to learn but this course gave me not only an understanding that I can learn to code but also some strong basic knowledge which will make my journey easier. It was not easy but so fascinating to see how your work turns into some real app or webpage. I appreciate all the work Matt and his team have done for creating this project.

It was hard for me to be able to study everyday because of my personal issues but I enjoy coding, and I know that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life 🤩. The video lessons are well realized, easy to understand and no too long. Plus, the interaction with other female students makes everything more stimulating.
For me these past 5 weeks has been the best part of my coding journey compared to the journey I had before . It was a lot of coding but I enjoyed it all along , looking forward for more adventures with these skills. Thank you SheCodes.

This workshop is amazing, it gives you oversight and knowledge about everything you need to know in order to build a really good website from scratch. Also, you get all the tips and tricks so you can make your website mobile friendly.
It was great to dive deeper into CSS and learn additional JavaScript skills. The things I've learned in this course make my work seem so much more sophisticated. I can't wait to learn more and am ready to start the next course!

This course will cover tools that makes this task less painful. You also will get to extensively practice your browser webtools which feels great. Very fun and interesting workshop. Very happy with what we have learned. The pace and level of what you learn is also great. However, the videos could be updated and more prepared. They seem a bit "off the cuff", which - for the price of the course - could and should have been avoided. Good support on slack, but it can take time to get the level of support needed - and this led to me having to use extensions unnecessarily. Also, when attempting to fix some parts of the app - we are told that we cannot get support/help to solve this as that is something covered in a later workshop that is not a part of the course I have paid for - this is disappointing. But all in all - a great introduction to coding!
I was definitely challenged in the Plus Workshop, but still had an incredible lot of fun! Can't wait to continue the journey 😊
I really liked the SheCodes workshop. Matt kept the lessons easy to understand. He was a great instructor. I also liked that you had always a homework to submit because that keeps you practicing. I once needed help with something and I asked for help on Slack within an hour or so I got an response it was really helpful. The Slack community is great. I think SheCodes is really great for absolute beginners and I would highly recommend it. Before SheCodes I knew completly nothing about coding and now I understand how it works and I want to learn more.

I have loved completing the SheCodes Basic workshop! Being new to coding, Matt was able to teach the basics very well - It was easy to understand.
